Was a bit underwhelmed by my experience here. I ordered the pork platter. It took over half an hour for my food to come out which did not feel necessary given how busy it was. Their menu board also said my platter was $20 but then they charged me $27 which is extremely overpriced for what I got. The pork was a bit dry and overly fried. The sauce helped a lot and the rice was good with it. My pork was so greasy that it melted the styrofoam box my food came in and the oil got all over me.

Wow! 10/10! I got two Patés (chicken and beef) and the Griot (fried pork plate) The pork is super crunch on the outside and melt in your mouth tender on the inside. The beans and rice have a nice subtle spice and are hearty. My son loved the pork and the plantains (he's 4!). The Paté was fried to perfection and the meat was seasoned well!!

We tried this food truck at the World of Foodies and their pates and fried plantains were awesome, was both my boyfriend and I's favorite food truck that we tried and we tried many! The pates have generous filling and the plantains have some nice slight salt on them that goes well with the slight sweet of the plantain with the sauce. I hope to run into this food truck again and try their other options!

Such a cute food truck and the service was amazing! No surprise why they won the "Best Food Truck Spirit" award last year. Absolutely loved that they had a vegan option for their platter - it was delicious!

This is my $22 vegan platter. Definitely disappointed!!!!!

I generally think food trucks are a novelty, and they're overpriced with crappy bang-for-buck. Usually. Triple G knocked my socks off. And I stumbled onto them (almost literally) when they visited Witherspoon Distillery. No reviews or seeking out a highly rated whatever. Just dumb luck. When I think BBQ, I think pretty unhealthy - even if I'm a fan. Something that's extra awesome about this truck is the food is NOT heavy or super unhealthy. The BBQ chicken was SOOOOOOO good. Oh MAN, it was perfect. Wonderful seasoning. Fairly large white meat breast. Great seasoning. Hit the spot. The thinly sliced sausage wrap thing (I forget the name) wasn't greasy and it was delicious. The BBQ baked beans were awesome. They were greatness. The corn mix was delicious. Everything was on point, including the service and wait time. No brisket on our visit, which is my normal BBQ go-to, but I didn't miss it at all. Everything was so good - and surprisingly healthy. Need more convincing? You're contributing to a good cause. When there's a disaster, Triple G shows up and serves free food to disaster victims. Straight up. How freakin awesome is that?!? There's even a 501(c)3 label on the truck. And yet, somehow, it's one of the most affordable food trucks I've ever eaten at, especially for bang-for-buck. Both of our meals were less than $10, and it was plenty of food. One meat (sizable serving) and two sides (which were plenty). Less than $20 total before tip, this was a steal for the quality and quantity of food. This outfit is awesome. HIGHLY recommended!

Who doesn't love tacos on a nice Saturday afternoon? Anyway, I heard the woman a few orders before mine ask if we had to do the tacos x2 (on the menu, they're listed as you getting two of the same tacos). He said you could mix it up if you wanted to try different tacos. When it was my time to order, I asked if I could do that as well, and he said I could. I ordered the sloppy taco and the fried avocado taco. Both sounded delicious, and I was going to share them with my girlfriend. She wanted to try those as well (I ordered before she texted me back... But luckily I ordered what she wanted). If you order two tacos that are different, they'll charge you the higher price of the two. That's totally OK with me, but just a heads up. They give you one of those alert squares that lets you know when your order is ready, that way you can go back to your table or whatever. I just hung out there and waited with the rest of the folks who had ordered. My buzzer went off, and I went to get my tacos. Instead of getting a sloppy taco and a fried avocado taco, I got two fried avocado tacos. They were busy, and I was content with getting two fried avocado tacos because they still looked delicious. The tacos were great. Nice crisp to the avocado. Flavor was spot on. Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance. Just thinking about them right now is making me hungry. I enjoyed the tacos, the staff was nice, and the truck is just a cool concept. I'd definitely try some of the other tacos in the future.

I ordered the red velvet waffle with bourbon cream cheese and vanilla drizzle, plus three lemon pepper wings with sweet honey sauce. Let's start with the waffle. It was just okay for me. It didn't really give "red velvet" flavor like I expected. However, that bourbon cream cheese? 10/10. Easily the best part of the meal. Smooth, flavorful, and it definitely elevated the waffle more than the waffle did itself. Now the wings. They were jumbo wings (which I don't normally go for), and they were almost a burnt crispy and hard to pull apart. I ordered lemon pepper with sweet honey sauce, but I didn't receive the sweet honey sauce. As someone from the South who takes chicken seriously, I was hoping for bold lemon pepper flavor throughout. Unfortunately, most of the seasoning seemed to stay on the outside, and the actual chicken inside was very bland. I'm a big chicken fan, so it was disappointing that I couldn't even finish them. Overall, I was really looking forward to trying this place, but based on this experience, it just wasn't for me. This is only my personal opinion and experience and I was disappointed and wasted money.
