This salon was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I have ever had…read more I usually go to Portfolio or Avantgarde in Coral Gables, where I have always received excellent service from true experts in blonde coloring. However, since I live in Aventura, I decided to give RH Hair Salon a try. The salon is marketed as a high-end establishment with predominantly good reviews, and I hoped to avoid the long drive to Coral Gables and the heavy traffic. When I called to make my appointment, I specifically asked whether the salon had experienced colorists who specialize in blonde hair. The receptionist assured me that they did, which was an important factor in my decision to book the appointment. Unfortunately, the experience started poorly. The music was blasting so loudly that it was extremely difficult to have a conversation with the stylist. The manager briefly stopped by and explained that this was the "RH Vibe" and, instead of addressing the excessive noise, offered champagne and lowered the music just a tiny bit. Because of the noise, I ultimately showed the stylist the blonde color I already had in my own hair and explained that I simply wanted the grown-out areas highlighted to match. She confirmed that she could perform the requested service. I understand that highlighting my hair can take several hours, as it has always been a lengthy process for me. However, after approximately six hours, the salon was getting ready to close. At that point, the cashier came over and asked me to pay because she was closing the register. This was a BIG mistake on my part, because I had not even seen the final result of the service. I paid $480 for what was supposed to be half a head of blonde highlights. At my usual salons in Coral Gables, I have never been asked to pay before the service was completely finished and I had seen the final result. Unfortunately, what I ended up with was nothing like what I had requested. Instead of blonde highlights, my hair was left with an unattractive brown color. There was a significant amount of bleach used, yet the result was still brown rather than blonde, and there were essentially no proper blonde highlights. I specifically chose this salon because I was told they had experienced blonde colorists, and I paid $480 expecting a professional, high-end result. The outcome was extremely disappointing and far from what I requested. Based on this experience, I will definitely be returning to the professionals I trust in Coral Gables.

Just want people who are having this procedure done to really consider the pros and cons. My daughter went to have Botox injected in the hands for sweating, we were aware that it might not work well and that it was painful. It has an 80% success rate. We were hoping for the best. Unfortunately for my teenage daughter, Painful it was!!!! Didn't work as expected and it was $1500! So if you're thinking of this procedure for your kids maybe try everything else first. My daughter had tried one medication and different lotions, she's the one who decided this is what she wanted to try next before her senior year. There's now another medication available which we will discuss with her pediatrician before deciding but Botox is a NEVER AGAIN!

Dr. Resnik is arrogant, demeaning, and very very focused on pushing biologics like Humira instead…read moreof taking a more complete approach to disease management. He doesn't like to be questioned and he makes sure you know that. I strongly believe in advocacy because I work in healthcare and I understand the patient not only has that right but it is also smart to listen to your patient as they are the most informed about their body and their triggers. I had my husband on an appointment with me to help me with questions because I was so overwhelmed with a flare I was having after being in remission for almost a year; he reluctantly agreed to have him there because he probably didn't want someone else that could ask a question; mind you, we are both in healthcare and come prepared with good questions to help come up with a plan. A patient should be allowed to be involved in their treatment plan as that helps with medication compliance, etc. Dr Resnik confused me with different patients and had no idea about my history, which tells me he didn't even review my chart prior to the visit. He insisted on putting me on Humira based on one flare even though he had told me about a year ago that flares were expected even in a well controlled disease. When I told him I didn't wanna do that without first trying other alternatives like cutting dairy off (my MRT had shown dairy wasn't a trigger when I consumed it, it was), he proceeded to respond with this statement: "I guess if you wanna be in pain your whole life then don't take it." No empathy, no desire to help come up with a plan, just push push meds and not even explain the side effects of the med. I am proud to say that I have been Resnik free for a year now and flares free too! Thanks to not eating dairy and to doing a lot of my own research. I am thankful that he put me on spironolactone when I first saw him and that the med continues to work for me along with no dairy. But if you are looking for someone who will listen to you, be compassionate, and treat you as a person and not as a money making number, then look again. Also, he documented every visit that he conducted a depression screening, which was only done for a couple of visits. He never asked me about my mental health part which is a huge part of the disease. I am glad I am doing well and that I am in healthcare and understand many of the things. But I feel so bad for people with no medical knowledge that put all their trust on him.

I googled a Spa's near me and the first business that popped up in the search engine was Spa 3067. I read all the reviews before I made my appointment. All of the reviews were positive, so I decided to make my appointment right then and there. I met Irma who is the esthetician and the owner of Spa3067. Irma asked me about what type of Spa services I previously had in MD and I told her about my previous Spa service I've had before. I liked that she asked those questions, because I'm coming from a different state, and she informing me that their is different terminology. Irma educated me about my skin, and what I mean by that is she took the time to explain what I need and what I don't need based upon her expertise as an esthetician. For example, all this time I thought I had moles on my face, but Irma said there weren't moles. Unfortunately, I can't remember what the scientific terminology name is, but she removed it. It took a day (maybe a few hours ) to heal, but when it healed my face was cleared of blemishes. It was unbelievable. It was like looking at my face for the first time just without moles. Every time I go to Irma I'm always satisfied with my results.
