My complaint is regarding Ross's policy of not allowing shopping carts out of the store. This means I am limited to buying small items that can be carried out of the store while still having both hands free to use my walker. This is a terrible way to treat handicapped customers. I couldn't possibly run away with a shopping cart even if I wanted to. I will drive a little farther and take my business back to TJ Maxx. They know how to treat their handicapped customers.

I stopped serval days ago and purchased a paper shade from Devoon on Adams St. that appeared to go…read moreover a normal small based lamp. I could not get it to work properly and returned to Devoon two days later to either see how the shade affixes to a lamp or return it. I had my receipt and explained to the owner, who sold me the shade what the problem was. She said that a base (that she sold and she only had one left) was what was needed to use the shade. I explained I was willing to just return the item and choose something else. At this point she asked "did I have cash and how much?" It just so happens she returns from the back with a base from Ikea that just so happens to have cost her $32. The amount of cash I said I had. I was pretty much forced to purchase the base. Even though she did not state so, the last thing she was willing to do was take back the shade. I will no longer shop at Devoon. I do not like being forced to make an additional purchase of an item to make the first item work. If she would have just let me exchange the shade for any of the many of the items in the store I would have been very satisfied. Now she has lost a customer and of course, I will not recommend that anyone else shop at Devoon.

As I walked through the Food Court area, I noticed a beautiful fireplace that was blazing on a chilly day in late March... it's Ohio! While I didn't stop at any of the Food Court restaurants, (because I was on a mission and short on time), I wanted to share the ambiance of the casual dining section. For reference, the fast-food restaurant selections included S'Barro Italian, a Chick Fil-A, various burger spots, a Chinese and Thai restaurant- among others. Prices appeared typical. People were standing in line to place their orders (kind of self-serve with assistance) and could then choose to dine in the seating area or take it out of the mall. As I mentioned, I didn't dine there but paused to admire the fireplace.
