This is literally Toledo's best kept secret. I discovered this shopping district entirely by accident when I came here for a comedy show just last night. As someone who's been visiting Toledo since college, I had no clue this was even here? From what the internet says, they've been open since 2004. They have a variety of nicer stores and restaurants to choose from with ample parking throughout. The place is clean, well maintained and easy to get in and out of regardless of what you're here for. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of experiences you could have here. Toledo is really trying to revamp their image and I'm glad this place is around. No more Franklin Park Mall for me! (unless it's Dillards, but that's rare.) Thank you to whomever put this outdoor mall here, as it's really a nice addition to a duller part of town. read more

Levis Commons Town Center adds pizzazz to an otherwise dull part of town -- but not without a sense of pretentiousness. Just like any mall, one can expect a movie theater and a smattering of chains. Some noteworthy stores, however, include Books-A-Million and Schakolad Chocolate Factory. On the dining front, LCTC could use a bit more work. Okay, a lot of work. Three of my disappointing dining experiences have come from a few of the establishments which includes Biaggi's, Poco Piatti, and Tea Tree. With the newer Nagoya located at the very far end of the mall, it seems like there is an underlying trend with this town center: stay for the shopping and the atmosphere, look elsewhere for the food. (Or stay, if you so wish, for good ol' Bob Evans, Max & Erma's, or Johnny Rockets. Oh the mind-boggling range of options.) As if that wasn't enough, the latest addition, St. Julian's Fitness, takes the cake with its gaudy atmosphere. When all is said and done, I do appreciate having a mall like LCTC in town. With the warmer days ahead, it's not only a good place for people watching but also a place to relax (and perhaps to even get some work done -- if, unlike me, warmer weather actually translates to productivity.) read more

Outdoor malls are a rather strange phenomenon that became super popular throughout the country these last few years, and despite the seeming insanity of putting such a place in NW Ohio with its wild winds and wilder winters, two of these complexes have been built in the last few years - Levis Commons and Fallen Timbers. However, whereas Fallen Timbers is located in the middle of a field and consists mainly of typical chain stores, Levis Commons was smart enough to situate itself in suburban Perrysburg and add enough unique shops and restaurants to differentiate itself from other more traditional malls, which were also more distant. I think it is for this reason that Levis has done so well, and has become not only a hang out for the highschoolers from just up the road and all their soccer moms, but also something of a destination spot and popular shopping excursion for other Toledoans. I will be honest, though - it's not a place I go to shop myself. Being more of a Penny's girl and a total cheapskate, I do not have much luck in stores like Chico's, Coldwater Creek, or even Lane Bryant. I do like Francescas, though, for gifts anyways, and like hanging out in the Starbucks or going to the overpriced movie theater (Sadly, rave essentially has a monopoly in Toledo, so therer's no competition that would lower the prices. Go for matinees). Mostly, though, I go to Levis for the food (and the coffee shops, but mostly the food). The best part about this complex for me was the plethora of eateries that it brought in. There are a few really good restaurants here - namely Biaggi's and Nagoya. I also like Max & Erma's, Poco Piatti, and Blue Pacific, though for a number of bad experiences, Bar Louie currently on my black list (you do not store chocolate cake near onions! It will taste and smell like onions!!) The place is also aesthetically pleasing, with burbling fountains in the spring and summer, and beautiful Xmas lights come winter time. They usually have a Meet Santa pavillion for the kids. One downside, though, is the traffic. The layout coming into the place is confusing, with some lanes stopping and others not, and the place is built like a maze, which is becoming more labyrinthine as it expands. Add a few drivers leaving Bar Louie with a few drinks, and areas with parking on the streets making visibility difficult, and you have a place that is an absolute nightmare when it's crowded. At least parking itself is not usually a problem, given the vast fields of spaces. I think a lot of problems could be solved, though, if they removed that street parking. I know it looks cool in the pictures, but it is a hassle getting in and out of and causes traffic backups if there is any sort of traffic at all! Overall, I am glad that Perrysburg does have Levis, especially for the restaurants. It's a good place for the kids and has a lot of cool shops, especially if you have money. I don't know I would recommend coming to the area exclusively to go here (at least drop by the Art Museum and Fort Meigs), but if you like this kind of shopping or are looking for a good meal, it's not a bad place to visit. read more

This is Perrysburg's answer to Columbus's Easton, Cincinnati's Rookwood...etc. It's GREAT in the summer, which is probably why I went with 4 stars. I actually think some of the stores seem a little more upscale than I'm used to shopping, but there are also some other good options. There are several restaurants around the complex, also mostly seem a little bit on the pricier side. I basically stop by here everytime I'm in town for work, because I ALWAYS seem to find a great deal here. I just bought 4 pairs of Tevas for my mom and aunt at Shoe Show, which offers a lot of selection for pretty good prices. I also frequent Lane Bryant, Yankee Candle, Ann Taylor Loft and New York and Company each time I go. I wish there were MORE stores here, but the ones that are here, I love. It's also nice to be able to stop in to Bar Louie for Happy Hour during the middle of a good shopping trip. Just don't fall into my trap...a few happy hour beers + shopping? Shopaholic! Five star because the place overall is beautiful and such a relaxing place to go to. It's super clean and it looks like they maintain it very well. But minus one because there's not a lot of stores to shop at for someone my age but there's a lot of Pokestops here if you're into Pokemon. Hehe read more

I will always love this place. Everything you need in one area. Plus it will always be the place i met my husband at 8 years ago at books a million! You can either shop all day there or eat anywhere there or just walk hand and hand with your date around the town. Best place to go!! read more

Levis Commons is pretty area and completely different from the rest of Perrysburg. The architecture is very unique and not at all Mid-Westerny. Included are stores like Ann Taylor, Justice, Kirkland Home, a shoe store, and Books a Million. To eat, well, there's really not too much. Among a couple of bars and mediocre places such as Biaggi's and Tea Tree, Levis Commons definitely lacks quality food joints. Despite that fact, it is a cool place to hang out for a bit. My favorite stores are Books a Million and Kirkland Home. read more

Levis is an upscale area. Lots of good restaurants! It kind of lacks on the shopping front. There are some cute boutiques but not a lot of common clothing stores. It also has a nice movie theater. Overall it's a safe place and has a good atmosphere. read more
