There is free garage parking near the entrance to the Food Court and the most convenient way to get to the Apple Store. As I walked through the Food Court area, I noticed a beautiful fireplace that was blazing on a chilly day in late March... it's Ohio! While I didn't stop at any of the Food Court restaurants, (because I was on a mission and short on time), I wanted to share the ambiance of the casual dining section. For reference, the fast-food restaurant selections included S'Barro Italian, a Chick Fil-A, various burger spots, a Chinese and Thai restaurant- among others. Prices appeared typical. People were standing in line to place their orders (kind of self-serve with assistance) and could then choose to dine in the seating area or take it out of the mall. Took my grandson here for some baseball equipment for his first year of ball. I have not bought equipment since my son (36) played years ago. After my initial shock on prices, boy have things really changed. I asked a young sales lady if someone could help me and this young man came over. I told him I didn't want junk but I didn't want the Tij Ma Hall either. He was very knowledgeable with advice and helping with our selections which was greatly appreciated. read more

Franklin Park Mall is actually nice. I've been here many times over the years, and walking through it today, it's far better than I remember from back in the day. Dillard's has always been here, but now they have an Apple store, a Macy's and lots of nicer restaurants around compared to years ago. I came here today on my way down to Findlay and stopped in to do some shopping. I was impressed with the store selection and how many nicer tenants they have here. Great selection of stores for shoppers of all kinds. Mall's clean and I feel like I can literally find what I may need here. There's also some great stores surrounding it here like a Kohl's, so you can easily spend an afternoon shopping here. I'm impressed with what's become of Franklin Park Mall. In the day and age of internet shopping, it's nice to go into a place where I can actually touch, feel and try on the clothing instead of guessing how it's going to fit. This is an older, traditional shopping mall, but it has consistently been the strongest of Toledo's shopping malls through fat and lean years. Although a few stores have come and gone, the major nation-wide big box stores have stayed and given it stability. Anchor stores include Dillard's, Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, with a total of over 50 smaller stores inside. It has a large food court, as well as larger restaurants around the perimeter -and over a thousand parking spaces, including two parking garages. We actually have one of the few remaining nice malls to visit. A wide range of stores usually not very many vacant. If they became vacant the mall does a great job of seeking someone to take their place. A great mall for walking and getting your steps. Lots of food options from sit down to a food court. Seems like most malls are dying a slow death. This mall doesn't have many stores with known brands. There is a Macy's, Dillard, Apple, and Dick's Sporting Goods. There's actually 1 outlet store - J Crew. The food court looked big with quite a few restaurants. read more

I've noticed recently that a lot of stores have left the mall. Some of them were my favs. I already miss William & Sonoma. My family loved Teavanna. The Limited was one of the few places where I could find pants that fit. While I enjoyed the gray sales that NY & Company had as they departed, the mall is lacking without them. I grew up going to Franklin Park, and it's stood the test of time well. Sure, it's no longer the epicenter of the shopping/social world, as it once was, but it still gets decent traffic, especially on weekends. There are a lot of good stores, including the anchor tenants. The food court is huge, and the attached theater is one of the nicest in the area. Found this mall after finding a Target near by I was staying I was looking place To eat. I'm from Florida been here 5 months. This mall is fully open while the Covid just opened up. Seems to be a decent size and has the standard mall fare, but my issue is with the security. Someone parked illegally and instead of getting out of his truck and saying something the guy just kept blowing the horn like an idiot. Meanwhile to his right my girlfriend and I almost got plowed into by someone who didn't even look but just put their car in reverse and started backing up. I don't know why I need to explain this but people getting hit in your parking lot is a bigger issue than someone illegally parking for 5 minutes. Also, if you can't be bothered to get out of your truck and do anything at least don't draw attention to the fact that the mall doesn't need to keep you on the payroll by blowing your horn over and over again. read more

Perhaps my opinion of this mall is due to the fact I have watched it decay throughout the decades. It ised to be beautiful. Macy's has a pathetic selection and stock. Many upscale stores have moved out for crappy chochkee stores (hats, t shirts, cell repair). Clearly seems to cater to a lower demographic of clientele. The food court is filthy. Trash overflowing at entrances. Many groups walking around yelling, swearing, and reeking of weed doing rounds to be noticed rather than shop. Mall security looks far from capable to secure anything, much less break a slow jog. When name stores start pulling out it is a sign. Definitely expect it to become Toledo's next Southwyck or Northtowne. read more

Meh. It's a mall. It used to be an awesome place to hang out when I was a kid, and a place I loved to go when I grew up to hit up the book store. Now the arcade is gone, the book store is gone and overall most of the stores inside are just Meh, not great but nothing to complain about either. I still go several times a month to walk, and enjoy some tasty treats in the food court, but for most of my shopping, I can definitely go elsewhere. read more

This mall is ok. . Under most circumstances I would even say its a pretty nice mall, but with Fallen Timbers and Levis Commons right around the corner (and closer to where I live anyways) this one has a tough time competing. The only times I would say that this mall excels is around Christmas time when I have so many people with completely different from each other styles and tastes for which to buy. They have a nice selection of all the usual mall stores, Dillards, JC Pennies, Sephoras, Francescas, Game stop, Victoria's secret. . .etc etc. They also have Jamba Juice which I will admit is a big win on their end. They have some nice stores that the other two malls dont have though like BoxLunch which I have to go in every time I go to this mall. Franklin Park Mall has been cleaned up and there's a active security presence which is welcome. There's an excellent movie theater here and an Apple Store so that covers modern culture! There are several anchors (Macy's, Dillard's, etc.) and some high-end stores plus a lot of grooming places like eyebrow threaders and nail salons. The mall has nearly full occupancy, which in these days is a rarity, On a Saturday, it was really hopping! read more

This is a great mall, especially for Toledo. All the stores you would expect at a major mall are here. Macy's, JCpenneys, and Dillard's. Don't waste your money or time going to visit Santa at this mall. The packages are expensive with the cheapest one being $29.99. The company tells it's staff to not allow cell phone pictures to be taken, so they can make you spend money on their pictures. The mall management dictates how the set is run even though it is an outside company taking the pictures. The pictures don't come out that great because you can see the store behind it or even people walking past, and the flowers are dying because nobody waters them. Went to the mall today and found it totally disgusting. Mens public restroom was filthy and one toilet had poop all over the seat. Couldn't stand it so I went to the family restroom. It also was dirty and had no toilet paper. Walking down the Penny's wing there was drink spilled all over the floor. Surprised that no one had fallen and broke their leg or neck. Went to the mall to BUY things with my friends. He were stopped my a MALL COP and was asked if we were aware about their new supervision policy on Fridays and Saturdays. We were not. The policy is, all guests under the age of 18 must have an adult 21 or over. After 4 PM on Friday and Saturday. We are 14 and 12 years old. We were stopped in our location and prevented from leaving until we called an adult. Than once we reached out adult we were escorted out by another mall cop and kicked out in the Freezing cold. Would not recommend for shopping if under 18. We were treated like garbage and was prevented from buying anything at the mall. read more

We were passing through Toledo and decided to do some Christmas shopping at this mall. We've been there before and thought it was nice. We got in line at Auntie Ann's before we were to shop only to be yelled at by security with everyone else in line for blocking the flow of traffic. We didn't realize there was an issue with where we were standing and neither did anyone else. The security guard was really rude about it. He demanded that we stand along the side of the Auntie Ann booth. The mall wasn't that busy and as soon as we left the booth, no one was waiting in line. I'm gonna guess that others have made the line in the way we did. Now common sense would say that if you wanted people to make a line in a certain pattern, maybe put up some rope and signs. But I'm guessing that rude and disrespectful security guy would rather ruin everyone's shopping experience instead. I don't know. Needless to say, we decided to leave and shop at home. read more

My daughter went to the mall with her dad.She was offered a sample. The sales rep (Wakeen) then told her it would be $50. When she stated that she didn't have the money. He asked how much she did have. She told him and he talked to her about how great the deal was and "threw in" another product. She purchased the products and when the transaction was through, she told him she changed her mind. He stated there was no refunds but offered some sort of exchange. What type of sales is this?? Who asks a 14 yr old child how much money they have? This is ludicrous. I spoke with the store manager (David Stein 817-946-9896). He was just as sly as the sales reps.I cannot believe Franklin Park mall would allow an establishment known for misconduct and unprofessional practices to run a business in their establishment! read more
