My visit to Sora was truly an experience for my tastebuds. I am not a huge fan sushi or raw seafood .. but the scallops were absolutely sweet and delicious and prepared impeccably. Truly worth having again. Service was seamless and ambience was soothing and calm . Beautifully executed meal. Thank you Sora and props to the chef and staff

I've dined at top restaurants and Michelin-starred spots around the world, and I can confidently say that Sora has earned a spot in my top 5. This was my second time dining here, and we came with a party of 8, once again, they did not disappoint. They've only been open a few weeks and are still working out a few kinks, but if this is just the beginning, I can't imagine how incredible it'll be once they really settle in. The food? Chef's kiss. Every dish was thoughtful and delicious, with beautiful presentation and attention to detail. Their wine list is extensive and pairs perfectly with the menu. You can feel the intention and passion in every aspect of the experience. Charlotte is truly growing, and I'm so happy to have a solid, elevated restaurant like Sora to look forward to. They're the same team behind Baku and all the Yama locations, so the excellence is no surprise.

The most divine dinner you can get in Charlotte!!! The food is absolutely incredible and beautiful. The chef is from a different country, his food does not reflect typical Charlotte menu. My favorite course was the Wagyu that had a perfect and rich savory Demi. The sommelier picked a custom wine pairing for me, we absolutely indulged. Cannot wait to come back and truly worth the cost. The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL - Job well done!

Such a special experience! The team at SORA goes above and beyond--warm, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. The food was amazing the drinks Highly recommend supporting this

It seemed like hubby and wife that owned and they were some of the nicest people ever! He's very familiar with Napa Valley a visit we have coming up so he gave us great tips for our trip. The place isn't big but it packs a punch with selection and they have a large patio area! We ended up buying a Pinot Noir called DECODED! really smooth with fruity finish and light!

In short order, they have learned our likes and dislikes and never to fail to guide us to old and new favorites. Weekly tastings open you up to new horizons and provide a chance to taste some seriously great wines without having to spring for a bottle that is above your average spend. Then again, Graddie and Caleb also have a way to seek and find great values. A bonus is that they offer food delivered from Table 31 next door, which is always excellent and tasty. The deviled eggs, Korean Cauliflower, French Dip and French Fries (crispy until the last bite) are always good as is the rest of their menu. I've had almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed -- oh, I forgot to mention the Nashville Hot Chicken... If you haven't been to this cozy, intimate shop with a large patio area, you owe yours a treat. Cheers!

Flavorful, with both very savory and yet light ingredients which made it perfect for an entree. Not too dense but also filling enough for the wait until dinner. Then the salmon a la plancha. The salmon was cooked to perfection and not overdone, which is unfortunately often the case. The perfect portion along with the tomatoes and kale to keep it rich, but still somehow light. Ended the night with their signature (and recommended) le citron lemon dessert which was to die for. The waitress also brought me some madelines with an adorable little personalized message to complement my little mom's solo night out. 10 out of 10 and certainly can't wait to come again!

The fries were battered and very crispy. These are the best kind! Complimentary Puff Pastry (4/5): These had the flavor of the bread at Brazilian steakhouses but with a different texture. The pastry was crumbly and there was a chilled gruyere mousse inside. Nice way to start the meal. French Onion Soup (3/5): Thick soup with lots of flavor. A little too sweet and tangy for me. I liked how much cheese there was on top. Duck A L'Orange (3/5): The duck wasn't that great. The skin wasn't crispy and it was a little too gamey. There was also very little meat in general. The orange sauce was runnier than I expected and very subtle. Good amount of potatoes and green beans which were solid. La Ricane (4/5): Reminded me of a Snickers ice cream bar but instead of ice cream it was a fluffy nougat. Good, but hard to justify the price when the ice cream version from the store is better and much cheaper haha Complimentary Madeleine (3/5): Nice that they gave these out at the end of the meal! Soft and bready with a light lemon flavor. RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)
