It's literally across the street from the main central train station. Just roll your luggage right in. When you check out the Hotel Bellman can tell you which track to go to and the shortest way. You're paying a bit for the convenience, but it's a beautiful classic hotel and they have an outstanding "made to order" breakfast with a menu. Definitely try to compare the price of your room by booking directly through the hotel online and by checking other online booking services; there is frequently a decent discount or even upgrade (also sometimes if you book multiple nights) directly through the hotel booking portal. The rooms are comfortable and plush. They use a lot of velvet. I love the fact that they give little gifts;the last time I stayed here they included a little item in a gift box with the room. There's a very small but decent "boutique gym" in the hotel; you are fine as long as no one else comes in as it's quite small. The lobby reception is great and the staff is very professional. There's always somewhere open (nearly 24 hours) as you are right by the train station, and they also have a lovely little bar/ café in the hotel; you can sit outside as well. The nice thing about Zurich is the area around the train station isn't sketchy like "Rue de Berne" near Geneva station or in front of the Gare de Lausanne. Zürich's main station is clean and well organized; the Bahnhofstrasse next to the hotel is the grandest and most opulent high end shopping street in Zurich... the really over the top part is a bit further down and it stretches over a kilometer. I really can't fault this hotel other than it's a bit expensive, but most hotels in Zurich are. For the price, you are saving on a cab or extra train ticket as you literally can hop right onto the train across the street and get to the airport or almost anywhere in Switzerland and abroad. All from the incredible Zürich train station. So this is a wonderful stop to take and a hotel for travelers looking for a peaceful respite without venturing far from the station.

There were loud (drunk??) people there throughout the night which kept waking me up. The bed is by the window so I didn't hear hallway noise, just loud street noise and bus stop people noises. The rooms really could use some double paned glass. Probably if you're facing the other side it would be fine. The included dinner we had at the hotel was mediocre but edible. I thought it was odd they had the rosti (hash brown) as part of a course dinner. The broccoli was cooked to mushy texture. The servers were very nice. Breakfast was better than dinner. Location wise if you have a car or you're on a tour it's probably fine, but it's not a convenient location. It's far from old town, tourist sites, and restaurants/shopping. There's nothing nearby other than a grocery store. If you're planning to explore the city on your own, this would not be a good place to stay.

We noticed the locals were jumping into the river to swim so we decided to do the same. It was brisk and refreshing!!! They also provide a welcome drink of your choice when you check in (water, wine, beer, juice). The hotel is less than a 3 minute walk to Lake Zurich. The tram/train station to take you around Zurich are less than an 8 minute walk and you have multiple tram/train station options. Konstantin was a pleasure to work with and always made sure we were taken care of during our trip. Only thing I wish they had was a fitness are, but I was also on vacation. So who really cares about working out during vacation?

The staff was extremely friendly when checking me in and my room was ready with no issues. My room was spacious and clean. I loved the windows and the funky decor. There is no fitness room, but the room was spacious enough for me to do all my exercises inside it. The breakfast every morning was wonderful. I took the breads and the meats and the fruits and made sandwiches and snacks to last me through the day. I think that I only had to buy dinner everyday. The location itself is near the water and just a short walk to the city center. The neighborhood felt safe and the street was quiet. I would stay there again if I found myself back in Zurich, the value for the money was great.
