I'm pretty sure that this building used to be a place that sold lighting fixtures and parts, so the bulbs seem appropriate. I don't know why Hamilton is so into origami, but whatever. It's neat. At first I thought they were cranes and bats but then I found out I don't know anything about origami and that they're swallows "foreshadowing spring." Thinking they are bats is way different than swallows foreshadowing spring. The more I learn the names of murals in Hamilton, the more it seems they are titled to try to alleviate people who fear losing their city to the sort of people who make murals. And the people who make murals are paying homage to the history of the city with bright color pallets. Anyway, I forgot to say this is from the Street Spark team here in Hamilton. But it did have a sign on the door so we went in. Definitely sensory overload. There was a lot of stuff in there that I remember seeing in my childhood. It is a very big mix of junk, collectibles and upright trash in the back barn. Even a boat in the woods near the outhouse. I think it is worth a stop if you are out that way. Mostly just for shock value. If you do stop, be careful when leaving. It is right off of a blind hill and curves. I took a lot of photos. But honestly, nothing has changed from the photos that others have taken and posted over the years. Probably items are sitting in the exact same places.

We were given a tour of some of the gardens (with all of their captivating scents and sights) where we harvested some fresh basil for our cooking class. Thanks to Katie and her two interns for prep work, set up, and clean-up while walking us through making four delicious dishes - Sauteed Brussel Sprouts, Kale Salad, Stuffed Chicken Breast and Cauliflower Au Gratin. Because it was my favorite with savory cheeses and a perfectly crispy crust, I will be making the cauliflower over the week-end. Shout out to Team Grigio to include Austin & Katie! It felt very synergistic to cook with such enthusiastic and personable Yelpers. They both have the positive energy and limitless potential which makes meeting new people so fun & rewarding. I can easily see why this would be a super team-building activity and/or class. Actually, at first it was unbelievable to think that we could prepare all the food and dine with our co-horts within 3 hours, but manage it we did. What a great opportunity to meet lots of new Yelpers! To the newbies, yes, these Yelp events are always this much fun. Cindy has a total knack for bringing all these fabulous happenings to fruition time and time again. Thank you for that. This wasn't my first time to Gorham Farm, nor will it be my last. There is much going on there than you can imagine. I didn't find out truly what it was about until the last 3 years, but I plan to make up for lost time.

It gets very crowded and in recent years that would scare me away, but the vendors and patrons are very friendly. My only negative is, I wouldn't bring multiple kids that are 5-12 years old, its so crowded keeping track of them would be difficult and I think many kids would be bored. (Maybe your kids are different) The town of Waynesville was so charming, I want to come back to town when the festival isn't going on and check it out.

The Kind bar was perfect for after the workout and the water bottle helped rehydrated me during the class. There was no lack of space to do the workout and there were lots of people who showed up! Because they were on stage, it was easy to see Rita and Beth leading us. Man, they whipped my butt with their energetic moves; it was fun and an intense workout!! It was a beautiful, well-maintained facility. A big thank you to all who put this on.

A great cardio start for Sunday morning at the Mayerson JCC! My first time ever doing Zumba and I…read moreabsolutely loved it. At first I was alittle off, but as you start to get used to the moves, you get right into it. The instructors Beth and Rita were very energetic and threw an intense workout. This Zumba class was a mixture of Latina and a twist of hip hop moves. My heart rate was definately pumping. We had a huge class and everyone was getting into the music. It felt like it was alittle over an hour with the last 5 minutes of stretching. The room itself was spacious and you didn't have to worry about bumping into someone. The time went by so fast because I was having a lot of fun. I burned a total of 562 calories. Definately drenched with sweat! Very intesnse and had a great experience. I may even consider going back in the future because I really loved the workout and the instructors. Loved the Kind bars, Yelp water bottle, and hoise drink. Greatly appreciated. Thank you instructors, JCC, yelp and of course Cindy for throwing a great class. You guys rock!

It is a safe city comparatively. The schools are excellent. In 2020 it was even awarded 21st best place to live in the USA taking in to account many factors! The cost of housing here is a bit higher than other places in greater Cincy but it is well worth it. Taxes are comparable and your car/home insurance will be less. There are plenty of parks for outdoor activities, easy access to highways, ample restaurants and shopping, and a really great community center! The community center offers so much for residents year round! There are classes, a work out facility and more! Police and fire do a nice job and are very reliable. It has a great sense of community and pride in it. I really cant say anything bad about Mason, Ohio!

I'm pretty certain my body is officially pissed at me. My fridge is loaded with recovery veggies as we speak. All this to say, wowzers, what a great deal and fun afternoon of cheese sampling and discovery. I walked away with a new favorite cheese from Cypress Groves in California - their cheese was a close tie with the Trillium and European Cultured butter from Tulip Tree Creamery in Zionsville, IN. For $15 you can sample your way through cheeses, charcuterie, olives and more. I loved the way they organized the space by origin (East Coast (primarily Vermont), European, regional, West Coast, etc.). And, if you're looking to kick your ticket up to the next level, for $25 you can sample wines and beers every few stations between the cheese. That appeared to be a heck of a deal as well. When it's all said and done, you can go downstairs into the marketplace to purchase your favorite frommage finds of the day.
