This is a beautiful green space on the edge of German village in Hamilton. We had walked downtown…read morefor dinner and on our way back we toured the whole space. The large sculpture/water pad was being enjoyed by many small children on a hot summer evening. There's a huge amount of green space, lots of different sculptural art pieces, places to sit, and great views of the river, as well as a pavilion for concerts. This is an amazing addition to any community, and the residents here are blessed to have it.

A variety of trails lead down into a nice wooded area along a creek to explore. We were able to see a number of small fossils down there. There are multiple access points (some with stairs, some without, as well, depending on your preference), so referring to the map or keeping an eye on the trail markers can be helpful for wayfinding. There is also a mountain biking trail. The other side offers closer proximity to the sports area, which includes pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts. Fun place to visit!

It's definitely worth a visit if art or sculpture is your thing. Obviously, it is best to go on a beautiful day, so walking around is comfortable and blue sky for pics. The sculpture is in beautiful woods with a lake so also nice for wildlife, bird watching and nature. I heard there are carts you can rent to get around, but i just drove around in my car. Great wooded trails to hike (three…read morego out from the Timberlakes shelter parking area, plus Tallgrass prairie trails) and nice paved road paths to walk or bike too (7.8 mile outer loop, 1,8 mile inner loop and harbor area path) and nice lake to fish or kayak on (with a great launch rails set up) .
