Esmi & Isabel we're amazing! I've been so busy the last 6 months or so that my home had really gotten away from me & it's like once it's so far, it seems insurmountable. But the mess was giving me so much anxiety too! On top of that, it's hard to let someone else into your home & into your mess. But Esmi was so upbeat & communicative & she put me at ease before we even met & throughout the entire appt. They move quickly & assuredly to get things done. Afterward, my home was a new place & I couldn't be happier! We organized my storage unit as well. I'm not a cheap person but I don't like spending money on things I feel I should do for myself. If I could leave no stars I would. I had the worst experience with this company. Esmi was rude and unprofessional, and didn't complete the project because of her attitude. She didn't make a clear plan to start out with to show me we were starting on the same page, and every time she came over she asked me for input and what I wanted, but then she disagreed with what I wanted and was upset afterward and pouted and mumbled under her breath. She was rude to the staff she brought with her in front of me and was completely disorganized. She would complete a task and then get upset if it didn't work for me, and then be upset fixing it right in front of me. To my point, she should have had a clear plan at the beginning and discussed it with me beforehand. The last opportunity I gave her, I clearly made a list of things to do, and when I checked in she didn't do half of it, stating that she didn't think I needed it and I should return the items, but there was still so much to be put away. Not polite, professional, organized, or experienced. I advise you to check other organizers before trusting her. Furthermore, she asked me to participate in a "before and after" filming even after I told her it made me uncomfortable. I agreed out of feeling obligated, though I shouldn't have. Even this didn't make her more nice, or polite or agreeable. I have never had a worse experience purchasing a service that should have been a great experience. This is in response to Esmi's reply. Esmi literally said to me "the plan is constantly changing" and now she says I was the one changing things?? Seriously that's insane. Also, the fact that she is sharing things about my personal closet issues as a rebuttal to the claims I have made should be evident of her professionalism. I explained that I did not want to call friends and family as I was embarrassed of the overwhelming mess it had become and that's why I needed to call a professional, or at least I thought I was. I never had friends and family help. I hope all potential clients should know that though she claims each client's issues are private and confidential they are not. Also, I tried to quit after the first visit but wanted to fulfill my obligation and called and told her after the second visit I would be done. She apologized and explained she knew she was out of line. She brought an extra organizer the second time and was much better behaved. The third visit she went back to the initial way of being, that's how 3 visits happened. I wish they had not. The fact I had to ask her to leave should say enough. This was after more than 1500 of work, it had to be pretty bad to not have her finish. It was unacceptable behavior from a professional. read more

Esmi and her team were outstanding. Professional, thorough, hardworking, obviously very experienced, positive and upbeat. They had a well orchestrated approach and moved quickly but meticulously through every space. They didn't miss a thing and wrapped up right on time. I just moved back to SA. Esmi was absolutely wonderful. She came over and scoped out my new place, calmed me down (quite a job in and of itself), and gave me many recommendations for things I would and wouldn't need. She was organized (of course), but even more than that, she really was able to see me, see my needs. And that was at least as important, if not more. She then sent Sarah Cuellar over, to do the actual work of putting the org together. Sarah was quick, efficient, funny, nice, and extremely willing to listen to me. THAT was very important. What a great experience my wife and I had with Sort It Out! My wife was struck by a drunk driver when she was 17.
