Came by myself to drop off recycles and it was very organized and clean. Both of the workers, Jerrell and Damyan, were extremely helpful! They were polite, funny and even helped me separate cans. Besides the good rates ,Jerrell and Damyan were the reason for the 5 stars.Would highly recommend coming here! read more

When I arrived they were pretty empty. I unloaded my stuff pretty quickly as it was all separated in advance. They guy had me sit at a table to the side with a large tip box. After he was done weighing my stuff he started in on the next guy's . He came and sat near me and then they started in on a third guy. I have yet to be paid, it was forced to sit and start at a tip box. WTF. Why would I tip when I did the work myself?? Finally a second guy pooped out of the office to pay me and was surprised I had been there so long. I don't how he didn't realize that. This place sucks. read more

New Location 8200 Stockdale Hwy 93311 Shady Business Practices Did not have a scale display within customer view on Gen 26,2025. When I asked Niguel where his display was he said the only one we have is inside on his tablet. We will be getting one later. Also, shady business practices. After weighing and not allowing me nor other customers inside the shack to see the scale display on a tablet, he immediately emptied the trash can container into his hopper bag. Then weighed next trash can and emptied it etc. So no weigh, so chance to reweigh and verify, no chance to cancel transaction. After everything was in hoppers he asked for signature before paying out. I took pictures that showed there was no visible scale display within customer. I told him i was filing a complaint. I immediately called Kern County Dept of Weights and Measurements and filed a complaint. Mr Garcia wanted the picture as well as pictures of the recycling rates which were hidden by one of the hoppers as well as the tablet. I walked back to take those pictures and Niguel had put a scale display on the outside wall. I said, oh now you have a display. He said, we put it out just for you. I said no, you put it out for the State because it's required. I sent pics to Mr Garcia. read more

When I arrived it was very clean and organized. I wasn't offered help but the gentlemen with the long hair was attentive to the other cars, ask if they needed any help. I unloaded all my recycles. I had two bins of aluminum and two bins of plastics, it took me a while to sort them out, the bins are big compared to other centers. Anyways, I was leaving the center with $29. HAHAHAH! I will never come back here again. These people are certified scammers. Good luck with your business. read more

These people suck and take forever especially migeul.Before there was only one man working and he was faster than the 2 they have now.

Been going here for years, they have some new long haired kid working there that would not take my cans because he found popsicle stick in one can and limes, in a couple beer cans. Note I had more than 4 barrels of cans he hadn't even produced more than 20 cans that were wrong. I even offered for them to keep some of the money because for me it's about the recycle and not the money. Obviously this kid is loosing them money in the long run. Kinda weird that because I had a large amount of can's and he didn't want to take them, probably didn't want to work. For the other Latino worker that counted my plastic, he is what their employee's work ethic should be like. Oh well, no more recycling for me or my fam. The kid said I should call the supervisor. Terrible place to recycle, treat there long term customers like trash. The owner Dan Smith does not take care of his long term customers.

Easy to find and there were big signs posted giving instructions on which color bins to put certain kinds of recycling in. I came here in the middle of the week around lunch time and didn't have to wait at all. The two guys on duty were really helpful and I was done with everything in less than 5 minutes, from when I arrived to when I drove off. When I was breaking down the cardboard box near my car, another worker approached and offered to recycle the box for me as well. Will definitely be back read more

What happen to the usual manager? This person who who took his place, Caucasian bearded man is mean because he's lazy. I have a small car so I do have to make atleast 2 trips and he had a problem with that. If the old crew don't come back, I'm gonna stop going to this. I just had one more trip to make, all aluminum and mean lazy man said I couldn't. So, found another place in town. There's a lot of recycling centers in town, but the reason why this was my favorite was because the crew were nice and I loved the set up where the entrance is in the shade. Who ever took over sucks. Me and my husband went to your SOS recycling center on Panama Lane this Saturday morning and the two white males that served us had bad attitude problems. They were very rude to us and they told us that we should be bringing the bins to a car where there is no notice to state that and they took 10% off all money because they said that we had been lazy and treated us with such disrespect. We are never coming back to this recycling center again and the customers behind us received great customer services, and we were treated horrible this morning. Bad customer service. They were also telling us not to go to the other locations because we are not welcome there and were telling my husband that he's lazy and calling us names never received customer service like this before something needs to be done about this. read more

Quick and reliable service and it's also in a good location. There's also a lot of parking spots!

Great recycling spot, always friendly, and fairly priced. I find Tuesday and Thursday are better if you need to get in and out fast.
