This is one of my favorite place to stop by after shopping or strolling around Coconut Point after dinner. It is a small place but they have inside tables and outside tables where you can enjoy the sweet treats from Italian cookies, pastries, gelatos and panini. In the afternoon, my favorites are Canoli or Tiramisu with Latte. Our night time favorite is gelato. Tonight, I wanted an affogato with pistachio and hazelnut ice cream. Had a Cannoli craving and I figured why not give this a try. I have had their gelato many times and it truly is excellent. However, they should take their cannoli off the menu. The one I got was not edible, the cream tasted off and so did the shell. Absolutely the worst I ever had. For an italian Gelato place, they certainly disappoint on the cannoli. I'm giving 2 stars because I liked the pistachio Which I can back for The didnt have it I wanted a small size I didn't want to scoops. I just wanted the small size and I don't like the dairy free chocolate alone or the dairy free pineapple alone but half a scoop of each would be perfect. Being that they didn't have what I came for I thought he should accommodate and give me what I wanted, which was a small with a half scoop of each then he said they can't do that because of cross contamination between dairy and non-dairy, but the two things I wanted were non-dairy... He just didn't want to do it because it's a rule. I have a thing about rules that don't serve customers that really don't make sense. So I walked out not getting anything and posting this review. If he had given me good service, I'd probably would have given him five stars for the service alone. Unfortunately, there's nothing else close by that has any kind of dessert. read more

WAY overpriced! Look at the pictures of the two little cups of gelato. The total for those two was more than $9. The gelato was good, but it wasn't amazing. The service was also excellent. However, I still can't justify paying that much for a little cup of gelato. Maybe it's a gelato thing I don't know about. Maybe it's like rare diamonds for dessert. I'm not sure. This is a favorite of my son and his Papa's! They have delicious gelato that melts in your mouth and is very creamy! This visit I was able to taste the dark chocolate and pistachio, oh my!! I waited until we visited this place twice before I ventured a review. I give 4 stars because the gelato is good, not mind-blowing, but good. The service had been very nice and the person behind the counter was generous with the many requests to sample the different gelatos. Plus it is a mere 50 yards from where I live. All the flavors we tried were very good and each one made fresh. We have not yet tried the savory food options yet, but we will. I was in the area on a business trip and saw this place while perusing through the mall. Since it was located in the mall my expectations weren't too high-- well I was wrong! The gelato was quite delightful. I tried the mascarpone, whiskey, cheesecake and Nutella flavors. All were fresh, flavorful and not too sweet. The texture was also smooth and not too dense. I definitely recommend visiting this place. If I ever am in the area again, I will be sure to stop by. FYI This place has indoor and outdoor seating. It's great for groups and for those that want to enjoy a cool treat while enjoying the hot sun outside. The thing that stands out the most to me is the family that owns the business. My wife really enjoys ice cream and gelato and has a favorite flavor of ice cream that is tough to find.
