So happy we found Mimi and Cesibon. The small batch, made on site gelato is the best we have found stateside. Mimi explained their process of making new batches daily, using the best ingredients, and trying to have flavors that will appeal to everyone. I tried the medium cup with chocolate and coconut. It was creamy, so smooth and delicious. Husband was thrilled to find Peanut Butter gelato. Mimi encouraged us to sample other flavors such as Baily's Irish Cream which was amazing. She suggested pairing strawberry with peanutbutter for a PBJ experience. Genius! On trips to Italy we sample gelato all over the regions. The gelato at Cecisbon is equal to any found in Florence or Rome! We live in Bonita and have many ice cream options nearby but a trip to Naples just across from Mercato is well worth the trip. read more

I stopped by this ice cream shop thinking about grabbing a treat, but the experience completely turned me off. The place feels very outdated, which already made it less inviting. I decided to sit outside for a bit while I figured out what I wanted, but instead of feeling welcomed, I felt uncomfortable. The staff came across as rude and unapproachable, which really made a difference in a bad way. A friendly atmosphere goes a long way, especially for a place that's supposed to be fun and enjoyable. Unfortunately, that just wasn't the case here. In the end, I chose not to order anything and left. Definitely not an experience that makes me want to come back. read more

Some of the best gelato I've had outside of Italy! Just a few minutes north of Clam Pass, it's the perfect way to cool down after a hot day on the beach. The owners are from Montreal and incredibly friendly! They make all their gelato from scratch daily and have plenty of options to choose from. If I could give 20 stars, I would. A friend wanted gelato and we ended up at Cesibon. The owner, Mimi (and husband Dan) is an absolute GEM. I could have stayed there for hours listening to her speak. She has a beautiful voice and is so passionate about her business. We wanted to try different flavors and she was so patient. They are constantly creating new flavors (over 65 creations currently!!) and it's admirable how they strive to make things better whenever possible. It was such a beautiful experience and energy exchange. The gelatto was soooo yummy (especially the salted caramel) and is reason alone to visit, but Mimi made the experience magical. You can FEEL her heart and soul. I don't live in area, but will make it a point to visit any time I can. Go grab some gelato and say hi to Mimi and Dan! read more

Sooo yummy! Kind of tucked away in a Publix shopping center. Great selection of flavors, considering that it is made fresh everyday by the owners. The owner was super friendly too. There's a cute outdoor seating area with tables and chairs in the shade, even little kid-sized chairs. Wish we had found this on our first day here! read more

What a fabulous place! We were greeted by the owners while walking up from the parking lot. So friendly and enthusiastic about their shop. We both had two flavors of gelato in a small bowl. Under new ownership since last year, and they are so kind and lovely. They have added more homemade flavors than the previous owner. It's absolutely delicious. My favorite is the dark chocolate almond, and my husband discovered their new (and a wonderfully accidental creation of blackberry and raspberry gelato). He had me taste it and even though I do not prefer fruity gelato, it was out of this world delicious. What a great and original unexpected flavor! It has so much hype it has made its way to the permanent flavors they create. Definitely worth a try and you will only find it at Cesibon! Homemade over chemical store bought any day!!! There's now music outside and lights on the outside tables at night for a relaxing setting. Visited twice this past week and gelato is just as good if not better than before. Needed an ice-cream fix after Mexican food. Haha we drove right past this place! It's right on the left of Steinmart. It was 6:30 and dark outside. They don't have a lit sign with the name. The absolute best gelato gem I have ever found. We walked up and were greeted with the kindest welcome and genuine joy. We go inside, and the owners are so kind to our children, patient, and extremely sweet. We ordered our gelato and sat outside. They had little chairs for our little ones, and they brought out candles, wipes, and waters for the kids. The best service that went above and beyond. Oh yeah! You cannot go wrong with this place. It's close to the grocery store, perfect place to stop by after grocery shopping. They did have few tables set outside. They have at least 9 flavors and they do not skim of those portions! I've got strawberry and mango. So refreshing for the hot weather! Came in around 845 and the outdoor seating was packed. Short wait inside and pleasant husband and wife team behind the counter. Solid pistachio gelato.
