I walked in with a mask, and she put one on without my asking her, and I thanked her for that. She started with soaking my feet for a few minutes and then thoroughly massaged them for about 30 minutes before asking me to turn over to get my back massaged. She was able to massage me with strength, and I'm sure I fell asleep several times (but I knew she was still working on me). I was visiting from out of state, so I wouldn't be able to return, but if I lived nearby, I'd be there every week! Near the beginning of the massage the woman used to elbow to get at a "knot" in my mid back, it was very painful and I said it was too hard and said "stop" I even moved my hand back behind me for her to stop. She replied "no, it will feel better when I'm done". Well several hours later tonight I am in much much more pain than when I went in. I looked at my back and it is very bruised which I did not have before going in. If a client tells you to stop because you are hurting them you need to stop!
