It was good! Not great, but really good and worth checking out. I stopped by this food truck in the parking lot of base for lunch. It was late lunch @1pm so maybe getting the leftover stuff. I had two-meats, brisket and sausage with the day's special mac&cheese. The brisket was good and tender, Smokey to the taste. Sausage was huge and juicy. Mac&Cheese was good, lots of cheese. Nothing bad, but I likely won't be back. Too many other places to try. read more

You are always skeptical when buying food from a truck, but Soul Fuel BBQ is not just the best Food Truck food but probably the best BBQ in Clarksville. Amazing beef brisket sandwich today! The added sweet sauce took it to a new level. The meat was so tender and fell apart with ease in every bite. The service was fast and easy. Takes cards and cash. Offers potato salad and slaw in which I will have to try next time. This is located on Fort Campbell Army post access is limited to those within this community but well worth it if you come for a visit or in a rush during lunch. Great food! I had the brisket and it was so good I had to try the ribs too. The meat just falls apart. The most impressive thing is the meat is flavorful on its own. Yes, they have the choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce (or both for the indecisive, like me) but, honestly, it didn't even need it. Good prices. Everything comes with a bag of chips and a drink. I went to them during riverfest and was impressed with the ladies customer service. Q was nice as well, but came off the truck to take the conversation deeper than food. He wasnt offering ribs and promised to make some specially for me and that was the only reason I returned. He asked for my number at the end of out conversation and I said no. When I returned the next day to purchase the ribs he had the worker tell me he dropped them on the ground. I was very disappointed he wasted my time and probably because I didn't give him my number is why he "dropped" the ribs. The day before I did eat some brisket and pulled pork. Their truck came out to our disc dog event in Kentucky and I must say, it's hands down the best pulled pork I've ever had. We also had the brisket, which was also very good. I've traveled all over the country and been to countless bbq spots from Missouri to Kentucky to Tennessee, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Georgia - the list goes on and on and on. I have been pretty disappointed with most of the spots as of late but our experience with these guys as reignited my love for bbq. I can't imagine anybody having a pulled pork like that. Wow. Smoke and ridiculous tenderness makes it perfect. Lots of pieces even have a little bit of a smoke crust on it that is perfect. On top of all of that, talking to the owner (which, I believe is a military vet), was very pleasant. I told him how exceptional the bbq was and he returned to me sincerity and thanks. Customer service means something. The girl that took the orders was super friendly and had a smile when she took your order and gave you your food. Absolutely the BEST beef brisket outside of Texas! (True Texans LOVE our brisket.) I've also had the pulled pork and ribs, both of which never disappoint. The turkey legs are always sold out by the time I get over there (they're obviously just as delicious). ...And don't get me started on the house made barbecue sauces (yes! more than one)... the potato salad (tastes like my grandmother's)....and the hospitatlity.
