The day I looked up the closest reiki practitioner by me was the day I really felt like my life got started. I started seeing Poonam for reiki/reflexology to work on some of my anxieties. I would go in feeling stressed and worried about a million different things to feeling relaxed, grounded, and like I could revisit any issue I had with ease. I've recently started spiritual counseling with her; I am only 4 sessions in and it's been an eye-opening and incredible experience. I went to the center back in September for the grand opening at the new location in Frazer. My goodness. What a lovely affair. The decor is totally welcoming - with beautiful plants and crystals, an awesome fountain and comfy pillows in the meditation/yoga area. There's handmade jewelry and cotton clothing in gorgeous colors o buy; then there's the Himalayan salt room for detox and cleansing. The place is a one of a kind for this area - like the kind of place you'd see in Sedona; I thought this place was going to be really "out there/new agey", which would be off-putting for me. Poonam and her assistant were amazing! My husband and I got a couples massage and it was relaxing, calm and soulful. Poonam asked us at the beginning of our session what our purpose was for the experience. I said, "relaxation and calm" she and her assistant delivered! They did a wonderful job making us feel comfortable. And using essential oils for aromatherapy, they brought us to a place of zen. I went without expectations beyond relief of chronic shoulder pain. I left having had the single most amazing experience of my life. After a massage with Poonam my mind and body were equally relaxed. About an hour after, I was struck by an unfamiliar feeling of lightness. The more relaxed I became, the lighter I felt.
