I absolutely loved my experience at Elevated Wellness. Jamie was able to squeeze me in for a pregnancy massage before the end of the year. I had been getting shooting pain through my back as my pregnancy had progressed and was looking for somewhere to get a massage. The room was cozy with relaxing essential oils diffusing. There was a comfortable pregnancy pillow set up for me to be very comfortable and on my side since laying on my belly isn't really an option at 6 months pregnant. I tried Reiki for the first time at Seraphim. Jamie was an excellent practitioner! On top of running late, I was also a big knot of stress and confusion. Jamie was so patient and answered my texts while I was in route. She took her time to explain the session and made she to educate me as she went along with using crystals and other techniques. She even talked to me as a fellow business owner and gave me rest resources to help me get back on track and more disciplined with my work! I also enjoyed her light humor - helping to put me at ease. I have been to many different massage places in Philly and this is definitely a good one. Jamie is good at what she does. She has firm hands and took her time working on my problem areas. The whole time I was there, I never felt rushed. My 90 minute massage was indeed 90 mins unlike other places where they sometime did not take prep time into consideration. The warm bed was a really nice touch. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep during my first half of the massage. If it wasn't for the price being above my budget, I would definitely go back. I got an integrative deep tissue massage and it was the best massage I had in Philly. Among other techniques, Jamie uses a neuromuscular massage that relieves both physical and mental stress. She clearly knows what she is doing, she spends as much time as necessary in the affected areas: e.g. she spent probably 5min or so in a single knot located in a tendon until it was cleared away. The room is great: very harmonious and peaceful; the massage table is very comfortable; the white noise machine is a nice touch. In summary, will look no more for a massage therapist! read more

Athletes of any kind should REALLY get an appointment with Jamie - as Head Coach at a Crossfit gym, I have had my share of painful muscles that tend to cause me issues day to day. Jamie was AMAZING. She did a quick consult to see what my problem areas were and gave me her ideas/advice before we started. She's really great at adjusting the pressure based again on your wants/needs. I'm the manager at a CrossFit gym and have been CrossFitting now for a little over 5 years. Jamie has to be one (if not) the best massage I've received. Being an athlete it's sometimes hard finding the right amount of pressure and/or deep tissue/sports massage.
