Here are the reasons why: - Staff greet you and get you set up. Don't forget Insurance card and ID. - Registration area- Every staff member makes sure you are there for the right test and will call your doctor if there are any issues. They also keep you posted with any changes. -The technicians and staff that does the testing will check again and make sure you are okay before and after the test is done. Yes, trying to get an appointment on the phone is rough and difficult. Do not give up. When calling to schedule appointment we had two tests to be done and could only get appointments with two separate locations. When we got to the appointment and told them what happened, They helped us out and we got both test done here. There is a parking lot with an attendant on premise. Just remember. Tests like PET Scans are done at other another location and not on this site.

I was very impressed that they had free Valet Parking there, like what! That's amazing because it's pretty difficult to find parking in the area so I loved that they offer this! Not to mention the valet attendant was so kind and assured me that if anything happens to any of the cars, the valet company would be held responsible. I walked in eager to check in. Unfortunately I didn't have the images I needed as I was there for a follow up visit and forgot to get my medical records from my previous provider. I didn't want to have to reschedule my appointment but the lady who checked me in was kind enough to accommodate me even if I waited a little longer but they were able to call my doctor and request what was needed. My mammogram/sonogram techs were both amazing and so knowledgeable. They explained the entire process, made sure I was comfortable and answered any and all doubts I had. I was so happy to be seen and that everything went smoothly. Thank you to the entire staff for kindness and support.

When we called back, the x-ray results would normally come out at least after 24 hours. What I don't understand is that when you go to an Urgent Care send a service to you, it's meant to be for URGENT cases. However, today they sent my mother and I through a whole journey, causing us to be a messenger between the Urgent Care and the Radiology. I don't appreciate this at all as it has been a severe pain for both my mother and I who is severely injured. This entire situation that unfolded today really disappointed me, but more importantly angered me due to the fact that there was no sense of urgency for the case with my mom. I served as the messenger between the facilities.

Another young lady behind the desk also very nice everytime I go there. Technician who does the CT scans and xrays, a wonderful, kind, compassionate, helpful young man, I always get him when I go. Wait times were not even 5 minutes, took me right away, and was out in less than one hour. Somebody is to blame stop shifting responsibility to the next party after you get paid. If you don't care for your patients don't open a Health CARE practice. Pro: new and empty Step 1: Go to Urgent Care with head back injury. Step 2: Doctor prescribes pain meds and writes a referral to go to CT SCANS. I asked them not send me to Zwanger Pesiri for Radiology tests because they wouldn't even give me medical records for 2 years. But I can't believe the robotic answers. "Sorry this is our only partner and we don't do open referrals." Then when I go to Zwanger in person with a script that is marketed for Zwanger to limit patients from going to other companies the staff tells me, "I CAN GO ANYWHERE with a Zwanger Script." Next Step 3: Get an appointment and hope the insurance, referring doctor's office and Radiology office work together to achieve AUTHORIZATION. SO WHY AM I STUCK HERE WITH AN APPOINTMENT BUT NO AUTHORIZATION. SEVERE PAIN, YET I CAN'T RETURN TO WORK. Fran said "We don't handle authorizations." I asked them not to send me to Zwanger Pesiri Radiology in the first place. That company has a horrible track record of not caring for patients. So I called Zwanger again to find out why. They said they don't have the proper clinical notes and the doctor's office AFC URGENT CARE is required to process all docs for approval. So on to my review I was sent to get an mri of my left foot from my podiatrist for pain on the left side of the left foot . He didn't recommend a particular place but since I've been here before and had a good experience I decided to come again . In addition it's about a mile from me and has amble parking . I had an appointment time of 3:30 they ask you come earlier I came in at 3:00 . I checked in the front desk and they said I'll be called . I gotta say I was really worried because I had work at 5:00 . So I sat and waited about 10 mins but was starting to worry because the waiting room was packed ! I went back up front and explained my situation and the gentlemen at check in said "don't worry you're good" he was very nice and it made me feel better that I wasn't going to be late to work . Then about 5 minutes after that they called me to the front to fill out some forms as far as signatures and make my co payment . The lady helping me was very nice and graceful. I was afraid with them so packed I would be subjected to dismissive harsh attitudes but that wasn't the case . I quick note make an appointment online or call and fill out the paperwork on your phone or computer ahead of time ! It makes things smoother and better in general . Shortly after I was called in by another nice gentleman he was very thorough nice and attentive. I changed and followed his instructions and headed into the room for my MRI. The test was about 15 minutes and he made sure I was comfortable with an extra pillow and headphones ( it's loud ) . All in all it was a pleasant and comfortable experience and I would go back and would recommend to friends and family . Also want to mention I was out by about 4:00 and was on time for work .

Throughout the visit, this nurse (Nurse Maya) made multiple unnecessary comments were made regarding my body size and appearance that came across as passive-aggressive, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The overall communication style made the experience uncomfortable and did not feel patient-centered. Very repulsive attitude and behavior Patients should be treated with professionalism and respect, especially in healthcare settings where people may already feel vulnerable or anxious. I will not be coming back to this location. I've had great experiences with NYU Langone facilities, but this location is just not it.

The radiologist proceeded to tell an 87 year old breast cancer patient that she had an abnormal mammo/sono (on the opposite side of her previous treatment). I supplied them with her old films for comparison immediately, due to my grandmother's obviously well deserved anxiety over the situation. I was told a different radiologist was there Thursday and the other one (who I need) typically comes in Monday's but wouldn't be in this Monday; and to try again Thursday of next week. Basically, I would have wait another week minimum to gain any information to back up the radiologist telling my grandma she had an "abnormal mammo/ sono". Waiting two weeks with anxiety/not sleeping. Completely unprofessional/inconsiderate. An example of horrible patient care.

The only drawback I would say is that they have three offices, this one, and two in Long Island. Make sure when you make an appointment to get any kind of test you specify and ask them to confirm the location. The last time my Father had to have an open MRI, they mistakingly made the appointment at the Rockville Centre location, and after some going back and forth with them they did not want to take us when it was their mistake, but finally did. It took almost three hours from the time we got there until the time we left. I told them good customer dictates when it is their mistake, it is on them. Other than that, I would recommend this place, when they work good and efficient, they are tops! They have digital mamography machines which are a whole lot better than the old analog one like at Richmond Hill Radiology.
