I feel kind of bad giving this place a low review because the lady at the desk that took all of my…read moreinformation was extremely nice. She answered all my questions and made sure I was all set before going in for my appointment. The doctor was ok. He didn't introduce himself. Lol I have no idea what his name is. I like that he was very straight to the point, though. He kept it simple. Told me what I needed to know and didn't waste any time getting me into the MRI machine. I had severe back pain and he helped me up and out of the machine even though it took forever lol. The reasons why I give such a low rating is because (1) it smelled funny in there. Like they may be battling a rodent problem? It smelled like a mouse had died in the walls or something. (2) I waited over two hours past my appointment time to get MRI done. It's not the worst place in the world, but I would recommend looking around for another place before settling on this one. Since that visit, I've gone to Neighborhood Radiology on Metropolitan Avenue in Forest Hills. A MUCH better experience. Try there if you can.

The only problem is it is FREEZING in the waiting areas it has to be at least 40° in there and that is the only thing that makes it uncomfortable as if you're coming in from the cold and you're in the waiting area in the cold now you have to take your clothes off. Ugh! This radiology center will continue to be my first choice though

Yesterday I spoke with my mother about her MRI appointment, and I was deeply appalled by the…read moretreatment she received. A younger Indian woman working there was dismissive and unhelpful, showing little regard for my mother's concerns. My mother arrived on time for her 8:30 AM appointment and was told to wait in the designated area. She ended up sitting there for 2 to 3 hours, only to be informed that her appointment was moved to 1:00 PM because she was late, but she was not because her appointment was for 8:30am. This is a major discrepancy. This experience is completely unacceptable, especially for an elderly diabetic woman who, did not go to her son's surgery to be able to get her MRI. The lack of compassion and clear communication is extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about the care and respect given to patients particularly our elders. The only reason I'm giving two stars is for the one lady that eventually helped my mom. To the lady that did not help my mom, if you do not like your job, find another one. Working with people requires kindness and compassion. One day we're all going to be older and we'll hope

I had a humane, caring, informative, smart, and personable technician perform my mammogram. The…read moreperson who performed my breast sonograms was also great. The mammography machine looked to be brand new despite the fact that the facility is a little run-down (the latter about which I could care less but my point is don't judge a book by its cover). The front desk staff including the scheduling person were lovely and very helpful. I have dense breasts and the experience is always anxiety-producing, my first mammogram showed irregularities and I had to have follow-up sonograms, and that technician (at a different facility) was very cold and harsh as she performed the test...When she imparted the news, she was just awful, zero warmth and very grumpy. This earlier awful experience made me realize just how important it is to have this procedure performed by a consummate professional who exudes compassion and is clearly knowledgable, like the technician at Lenox Hill. Tip: If you have dense breasts, ask your GP or gyno to write a scrip for the mammogram and sonograms at the same time to allay the anxiety that being called back for more imaging can produce. This way, you can schedule both tests for same day and the radiologist can immediately compare the images and know for certain whether there is something meaningful to worry about. Also, it's very helpful to the radiologist for you to provide a cd and the radiological report from former mammograms (at least the last one) if you had them done at an unaffiliated facility, so try and get the cd and report (most places will mail it or give it to you in person without a hassle if you show id). The radiologist can assess without the comparison but it's ideal that they have a baseline mammogram to compare with. I stopped going to a Mount Sinai facility at Cadman Place in Brooklyn (even though that technician was great there too) because they required a faxed scrip from my doctor and yet everyone knows that faxes often don't get received, I found it frustrating (on top of the anxiety that this test produces) to have to check whether the scrip was received and then contact my doc's office to have them fax again only for it not to be received again, it's absurd to make patients and prescribing doctors' staff jump through such hoops. Thankfully, Lenox Hill allows the patient to fax or email or bring the scrip in person, this was enough to make me switch. Another difference and reason to choose Lenox Hill for radiology: Lenox Hill immediately gives this to you at any of their affiliated radiology offices (not just the one where you had the test done) as long as you provide proper ID (takes just a few minutes). They can also mail it to you if you call. Mount Sinai made me fill out paperwork for the cd and radiological report and would only mail it, I could not get the cd in person and they said it would take at least a week. I know I'm rambling, but all these things add up to a better patient experience, which really should be the point. Excellent experience all around at Lenox Hill. Cheers.

Im not sure why this doctor has such good reviews. He was recommended to me by my trusted OBGYN who…read morewas retiring. My doctor that was retiring recommended that I be seen twice a year due to a large cyst on one of my ovaries that needed to be monitored and screened again and other complications I had that required more tests. In response to my former doctor's request, Dr. Sarabanchong received my files. In the first few minutes of our meeting, he seemed friendly enough. But then he said, "I understand what your other doctor wants, I have and see the requests, but I will not perform any tests or pap smears on you today. I will only perform a pelvic exam.". The situation seemed very wrong to me. For him to just feel around inside me made no sense to me. My ultrasounds and CTs have already confirmed that I have a large cyst. What's the point? Did he just want to touch it? I wish I'd listened to my gut and bolted rather than thinking, "he's a doctor. He must know what he's doing." I nevertheless agreed to get up on the table. "Does this hurt?" he asked repeatedly as he pushed his fingers around inside me. It seemed to go on for too long. Then he seemed frustrated and pressed his finger against my clit asking "Well, does this hurt?" I pushed myself back and away from him to the other end of the table, tears streaming down my cheeks. His reaction was sudden shock, and then he asked" was it something I did?" Then he left the room quickly and never returned. ( or called, or checked up in any way ever again) Immediately, I remembered that I had told him about my PTSD. I wondered if he thought he could get away with doing this because of what I'd shared before the exam. The nurse should have been watching what HE was doing to me. She was in the room, but she was standing up by my shoulders and facing him not facing my body watching his hands on me, so she never had a clear view of anything he was doing to me. My state of shock was so bad that I had to be guided by hand to the desk out front by the nurse. I stood there still with tears streaming down my face as she gave me a date and made my next appointment with the doctor for me!!! She handed me an appointment card then I wandered aimlessly out into the street in full panic mode, still crying, my body knowing what happened but second guessing myself because of my past sexual trama, and angry that the nurse would never be able to confirm with me with what I knew to be true because she was standing by my shoulders, and not watching his hands on my body. It took a month for me to call and cancel my appointment. I don't know why but even calling the place gave me anxiety. I have since found a wonderful female doctor 2 hours away but worth it. And I'm back to my two times a year schedule as my other doctor suggested and my current doctor confirmed was ideal for me at the time. I've tried to put this all behind me. I've struggled with telling anyone. But ultimately, I wanted anyone looking up the glowing reviews to know that not all of us feel that Voravut Sarabanchong is an amazing doctor.

During my very first appointment, Dr.Sarabanchong took me into his office where we just spoke - about my life, medical history, goals (related to gyno health and children) and only after we spoke and established patient-physican trust, did we go into the exam room. I felt very comfortable and welcomed in this office. If I were to consider having a child, a concept that usually makes me anxious, I would immediately feel more confident knowing that I would be under the care of this doctor. Sadly, I've recently moved out of nyc, however, I fully intend to return to Dr.Sarabanchong for my annual exams.
