I love SoulCycle but I especially love SoulCycle Williamsburg. You walk in and you're super welcomed by the staff. They'll check you in, ask you if you want water or cycling shoes ($4), and then you can proceed to head on back to the lockers to put your things away and use the restroom before class. There are also showers to use after class and shampoo, condition, and body wash are all provided. Everything is super clean and I haven't experienced anything negative so far. After classes, I've also seen staff clean the mirrors and sanitize the bikes for the next classes. LOVE THE CLEANLINESS! Classes get booked up pretty quickly especially weekend mornings and weekdays after work hours so try to book your class as early as possible (Monday at 12pm is when the new week bookings open). Parking in this area is sort of difficult to find (esp the times I mentioned above - weekend mornings and weekdays after work hours) so give yourself enough time to find parking if you do drive! So many great instructors and you gotta try different instructors to see who's best fit for you. For me, I wanna give a shout out to my fave instructor Jasmine because she's so motivational and makes SoulCycle that much more amazing!

I've been wanting to go to SoulCycle for years! So happy I finally went out on the whim and booked a class this morning 7am with Austin. I walked in this morning and was greeted by Natalie and Nathan who I must say had exceptional customer service. They were very clear and explained how the class would work. Nathan even came into the class before beginning and helped me adjust my bike, explained the bike as well as explained how to lock my shoes into the bike. Kudos to the dynamic duo because they definitely left me with a smile. They even charged up my cell while I was in the class and before the class started which was super helpful being that I was all the way on the other side of the l train. Thank you guys so much. The vibe was super comfortable, it felt like I was at a workout club, the music playing and the lighting on point I was amazed at how creative the class was. Let me just say I'm so grateful I went with Austin, I kept hearing so much positives about him. The reviews were on point he was high energy, motivational and so supportive throughout the entire class. I felt a little intimidated being that I haven't rode a bike since before finding out about my miracle baby last year. Austin shouted me out and helped me push through the class with no pressure. It left me with more confidence, great energy and the eagerness to make this my new workout home. I will definitely be back and spread the word. Let me not fail to mention it's right off of the water on Kent which is ideal for me. I loveeeee the water & it's right next door to Trader Joes. I fell in love thank you guys for making my first experience great!

I've tried lots of different workout classes and it's hard to beat SoulCycle. Even my least favorite instructors there still have better music and more energy than most other classes I've been to. I'll be a forever SoulCycle fan but I do wish their locker room areas weren't so, so cramped all the time. I get that real estate is expensive but it makes for such a stressful post-class experience! I do love this location, though - the front desk peeps are always helpful if you have a question, and the dudes cleaning the rooms gave us all high fives to congratulate us for finishing a class as we filed out! The instructors really depend on your taste in music and style, but there are some unique characters here. If you're not into the electronic/hip hop vibe that most classes feature, you should try Noa who plays a lot of loud rock music that still definitely works with the workout. Again, though there are countless imitators at this point SoulCycle knows what they're doing and is still constantly packed for a reason!

My 100th Yelp review MUST be reserved for the amazing, intensely addictive, soul centering SOUL CYCLE! I have never experienced a spin class like this one before in my life! The class I attended was in Williamsburg and the instructor was Roger. The class was just pure amazing! Once the lights were off, the candles were on, and the music was pumping, I truly felt like I was transferred into this intense state of peace where it was just me and the bike battling for who would win or give up first (I WON!). Roger truly motivated the class and helped us to center ourselves and know that "I CAN and I WILL" (the mantra we were reciting). I had a great experience! My friends traveled from Memphis to NYC and the top experience on their list of things to do was attend a Soul Cycle class and they were also blown away. Soul Cycle provides bike shoes for first time riders and I suggest either getting a seat pad for the bike or butt pads for your shorts until your muscles build up endurance because the butt soreness after a 45 minute ride is just wrong in so many ways and places! I suggest signing up early to reserve a bike because the classes fill up quickly especially with popular instructors. I love that you can sign up and reserve a bike versus other spin classes that have a first come first serve policy which means you are rushing to get to the gym to get a bike! Simply put, I LOVE SOUL CYCLE....TRY IT NOW....YES YOU READING THE REVIEW...GO AND SIGN UP NOW! Link below. :-) Thank me because I just changed your life! https://www.soul-cycle.com/series/

As a longtime fan of Alex Toussaint, finally getting the chance to take his live HIIT & Hills ride felt unreal from the moment I booked the class. The excitement started well before the 2:00 PM class time because riders are required to arrive early for check-in and orientation. I arrived about two hours ahead of time, and honestly, it added to the full experience. The check-in process was smooth, organized, and surprisingly welcoming. Staff members were energetic, helpful, and made everyone feel like they were part of something special rather than simply attending a workout class. The studio itself is sleek, modern, and full of energy. The lobby feels more like a luxury wellness space mixed with a production studio. You can feel the anticipation from everyone waiting for class, especially those hoping to ride with Alex. The music throughout the building immediately sets the tone and gets your adrenaline going. Of course, I could not leave without shopping. The apparel section was dangerous in the best way possible. The Peloton gear was stylish, high quality, and hard to resist. From performance tops to hoodies and accessories, everything was perfectly branded and designed for people who genuinely love fitness culture. I definitely walked out with more merchandise than I planned to buy. Then came the main event. Alex Toussaint brought exactly the energy people talk about online. His presence in person is magnetic. He motivates without sounding rehearsed, pushes riders to work harder, and somehow makes every person in the room feel seen. The HIIT & Hills ride was intense, powerful, and inspiring all at once. Between the climbs, intervals, music, and Alex's signature motivational moments, the class felt more like an experience than a workout. One thing that stood out was how connected the riders felt during the session. Even though many people were strangers, the room had this incredible team energy. Everyone was encouraging each other, feeding off the music, and trying to keep up with Alex's nonstop intensity. After class, the experience somehow got even better. The group photo at the end felt like celebrating after a concert or major event. Everyone was sweaty, exhausted, and smiling ear to ear. The individual photo opportunity was also a highlight because it gave riders a chance to capture the moment and meet Alex up close. Despite being a huge fitness personality, he came across as genuine, appreciative, and engaging with everyone. This was far more than a cycling class. It was a full NYC experience that blended fitness, entertainment, motivation, and community into one unforgettable afternoon. If you are a Peloton fan visiting New York, taking a live class at the studio should absolutely be on your list. Riding with Alex Toussaint made it even more memorable.

Everyone was very friendly, gave clear instructions on how everything worked and where everything is. They run a very well oiled machine over there! The only stressful part of my experience was getting off the waitlist for the class I wanted! They give you 2 hours from the time you receive the email that you're off the waitlist to claim your spot, which is great, but also stressful. I just happened to look at my email 5 minutes before my 2 hours was up and was able to snag it, but would have been extremely upset had I missed it. I took a 45 min. low impact sweat steady ride with Jess King. She was high energy, made us feel included and got us pumped up for the 45 min. torture we were about to endure. It was a great ride, but made for terrible, red-faced, sweaty photos afterwards (LOL)! After the class, you get to line up for a photo with Jess King. That goes seamless as well, as they have a photographer setup and the group's photos are automatically sent to your email with a link to view and save. Jess took the time to talk to each person briefly, which felt personal and not rushed to get out of there. I needed to shower afterwards so I could head straight to drinks and dinner. The facilities were great. The only difficult part of the whole thing is if you want to get undressed in the shower, there is nowhere to place your clothes, other than throw them on the ground in front of your shower door. That was probably the most annoying part, but otherwise, the shower pressure was great! They also provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and there are also Dyson hairdryers for use as well!

The instructors are world-class, fully committed to the method, and lead by example. They don't just coach; they train alongside you, pushing everyone to be their strongest selves. The passion here is evident in every detail--from how classes are structured to the energy in the room. Akin's influence is undeniable. I started taking his SoulCycle classes ~10 years ago and was immediately drawn to his intensity, music, high standards, and focus on fundamentals. I've been to over 200 of his classes, mostly cycling, and his philosophy is evident: strong foundations prevent injury and lead to real progress. AARMY has evolved far beyond just him, though--every coach is exceptional, and the team is the real deal. The cycling and bootcamp classes are designed by athletes, for athletes. Bootcamp blends weight training (like Barry's) with calisthenics and yoga for flexibility, creating a well-rounded approach. The workouts are intense, and the community is dedicated--some might find it intimidating at first, but don't be afraid. Everyone is focused on their own progress, and the atmosphere is competitive in the best way. Beyond the workouts, the studio is top-notch--cutting-edge spin bikes, a sleek but functional space, and high-end amenities in the changing rooms and bathrooms. I also love that they have foam rollers available. The multi-gear bikes were the first I'd seen, and the attention to detail here is next level. The music is world-class and always evolving. AARMY's swag is everywhere, and you'll quickly notice the loyalty--people live in their AARMY gear. The clientele mixes downtown creatives and serious athletes, creating a uniquely cosmopolitan but authentically athletic vibe. AARMY is a microcosm of what appeals to me about NYC: open-minded, hard-charging people who love the cutting edge and give 150% to everything they do. The passion here is evident; this place is a beacon of the champion's mindset. AARMY isn't just another fitness studio--it's a family business built on love, talent, and loyalty. It can be tough to get into classes, but if you're serious about training and in NYC, this is as good as it gets. Will remain a loyal client forever. Keep innovating and leading by example!
