    tuna bowl

Food 4 Value 3.5 Service 3.5 Décor 5 This place is cute beyond words! Adorable warehouse-rustic (totally just made that up), organic and clean feel. Perfect for a quick and casual lunch or dinner, but also would be cute enough for a date night. Had the thai curry baccala bowl and my friend had the tuna bowl. At 20-22 euros for a bowl, I didn't think it was worth it, but it was definitely very tasty. There aren't all that many organic food spots that I've come across in Milan, so I suppose you need to pay a premium for this sort of food here. Also had 2 cocktails (tea mule and cucumber vodka drink), both of which were refreshing and strong. Service was slow, however the waiter apologized that the bartender was being trained, so there would be delays in getting our drinks served. You also get to order your food/drinks on a tablet, so it's super efficient and fun!

    Vegan Falafel Burger

Soul Green has a promising menu, it is vegetarian at best, which is, if you have visited their website, is contrary to actually what their "manifesto" stands for (which says they are wholly plant-based). They have fish in their menu. I mean, not bad for vegetarians. (That is just a warning for hardcore vegans who do their research before trying out restaurants. I do google the heck out of the places I want to go to, to not waste time and be disappointed but I am not a vegan nazi, I just thought it is important to write this part just in case you visit their website first and then be surprised it is actually not a completely vegan restaurant). Moving on... I think their menu is extensive, a lot of their dishes (are not listed online) are very creative and hip. Burgers are always an easy choice for many and they have a selection of that which is great. I tried the falafel burger and though the taste of the falafel itself is very "fresh" (too much parsley?), it is very satisfying and came with a side of potato wedges and ketchup. I have tried their caponata spaghetti and it is not bad. The location and the interior of Soul Green is very hip, has that modern rustic vibe and ordering with tablets are pretty cool , specially for the millennials who surely hangs out in these types of spots, nothing to complain about there (though as a first-timer there they do need to explain to you how it works., ie., if you're handed 2 tablets and you want to cancel the order of another, the order should be canceled only by the same tablet and not by the other...I didn't know it worked like that since the orders appear in both tablets anyway). My dining experience is okay, I will come back one day to try the other dishes, specially their food bowls. It is a good resto for vegans/vegetarians who wants to have a good amount of options to choose from. Food: 3 Price: 3 Ambiance: 3 Service: 3

Avocado and cocoa mousse, with hazelnuts and red fruit coulis.

Delicious food. Proof that healthy options don't need to sacrifice flavour. I had meals there twice, and on one occasion just popped in for dessert... a cacao mousse that I just couldn't get enough of. They have an innovative ordering system, but staff remain available, attentive and friendly. I was dining alone, and felt really welcome. Eat here.

Great food, great ambience, ideal for lunch, brunch and coffees. I was looking for a place with vegan options and will definitely come back

Fushbar de Milan - walked 15 minutes from Duomo. I had it marked on my Yelp page to visit and here…read morewe are. Not too many seafood restaurants and this place fit the bill. Thanks Yelpies for the nice photos. We opted to sit at the patio by the street. They made it little better by putting a facade between the street and the sidewalk. No smokers but that didn't last long. In Italy, outside seating means someone will be smoking next to you. Guaranteed. When we got here, thr waiter started shaking his head when I said no reservation. After conferring with another waiter, we got seated and things started rolling. Bread was brought out and asked for bottled water. To my surprise, cuperto was free and Pellagrino was only €3.50 Chilled vino bianco was delicious with the two items we shared. I got the grilled octopus served on top of the mashed potatoes. (POLPO CROCCANTE Purè, pomodorini semi dry, paté di olive nere) It was a large serving and grilled to perfection. The fish soup (ZUPPA DI PESCE Pomodoro, calamari, polipetti, seppie, gamberi, cozze, vongole, crostini di pane) had flavor that I wasn't use to. Salty, thick soup base? Definitely better to dip with scarpetta. Wasn't happy that one clam and one mussels didn't open up. Our waiter were on top of everything till we were ready to go. Guy next to us rolled a cigarette and started smoking and I was ready to roll out of there. Took while to get the bill after repeatedly asking for it. Overall, we only scratched the surface and love to come back and spend exploring other items like raw fish platers. Inside!

Good: staff super friendly, accommodating; crispy octopus - easily one of the best octopus dishes…read moreI've ever tried Not so good: the marinated anchovies appetizer is a half-opened tin of anchovies, a few pads of butter, and triangles of white toast, and it's 21EUR; when it arrived, it almost felt like someone was pranking me. It made me feel bad that I was spending so much money on a tin of anchovies. I ate it and didn't complain as that's not in my nature. Charging this much for someone to crack open a tin of fish is wild. It's such a shame about the anchovies, but the crispy octopus was good. Be forewarned when you see "marinated anchovies" on the menu, and just know you're just getting a cracked open tin of anchovies.
