My guy and I looked at each other and proceeded to walk closer to her to address her, which is what any professional person would do. My guy explained to her that we were from out of town and held a decent conversation with her, I had honestly checked out of the conversation and didn't hear what they were talking about. Nastily, she says, well that's not how it works here and goes on to say some other things about waivers, blah blah blah. So I turned to him and say, "we're not signing anything here." She then says, "well she (meaning me) can stay today" and some other junk I paid no attention to. I get it, policy is policy but as a representative of the establishment, you should not talk to and treat customers in such a harsh or belittling manner. 'Karen' needs a customer service class, the next person isn't going to be as calm as I was.

We walked in and thought...well this is going to be an experience. (Not in a good way.) We're pretty resilient, and thought we'd make the best of it. It's only a place to sleep, after all. The odor as we walked to our room was disgusting. Sort of a combination of cleaning solution and urine. The pictures attached don't even show how awful it was. On top of all this the young man at the desk clearly wished he were somewhere else. We decided that we just couldn't stay. He said ok, but since we booked through Expedia we had to deal with them to get a refund. We didn't even care. We just wanted to leave and consider it a lesson learned. This place should be shut down, or at the very least, NOT supported by travel advisors like Expedia.

We explain to both the front desk and the maid that I was going to clean it, however, the maid took pictures sent it to the manager, who then tried to charge us for Destruction of property. When my husband tried to explain to him that I had cleaned the mattress and asked him to go look at it before trying to charge us. He decided instead he rather take our money for the five days we've paid in advance for and kick us out at 6 PM With nowhere to go. Then called the cops and had us trespassed without refunding us the nearly $400 we paid for in advance. There are many great places to stay in Dodge, I advise whatever you do stay at one of those and avoids this place like the plague.

While I was there, I decided to get a few beauty treatments and I'm truly happy with the outcome.
