Many of my questions went unanswered, and I often felt I had to repeatedly follow up for information and updates. In fact, I had to contact Zillow for corrections when that's the realtor's job. The home remained on the market for an extended period with very limited feedback provided to me. Aside from being told the house showed well and one buyer wanted a larger downstairs bedroom, I received little information regarding buyer or agent impressions. After consulting another real estate professional, I learned that several staging and presentation changes were recommended immediately that had previously been dismissed. I had suggested these changes for staging purposes and was told, "it's fine." This left me questioning whether my home had been positioned as effectively as possible from the beginning. I was also surprised to discover that the website printed on the business cards was not functioning properly. As a seller, I expect marketing materials and online resources to be fully operational. My biggest concern was that I did not feel informed throughout the process. Selling a home is one of the largest financial transactions most people will ever make, and I believe sellers deserve clear communication, realistic pricing guidance, timely responses, and proactive marketing. This was my experience, and I hope it helps other sellers ask detailed questions about communication expectations, marketing plans, and pricing strategy before signing a listing agreement. I would not recommend her services.

SELLERS BEWARE - Do not use Brick Roads Estate Sales. They came to examine the house/garage and…read moreexclaimed that there were many high-end items and antiques. She stated if she could not get a high price at the estate sale then she would take to an auction. The house was packed full of antiques, the garage was full with many items still in boxes and never opened, lots of tools, yard tools and misc. stuff. There was an unbelievable amount of yard gnomes. Dad taped receipts too many items and for an example one dresser he paid $1,500 for it and that was just one of many pieces of antique furniture let alone all the other stuff, antique clocks, large weathervane, air compressors, antique mirrors, wheelbarrow the list & pictures of stuff is long. She was late or did not show up for several appointments and staging even before the sale. The contract states that they will QUOTE the contract: We provide records, receipts, daily accounting totals and a basic inventory sheet of items sold over the amount of $50. UN-QUOTE the contract. We asked several times for a list of what she sold and she would NOT provide this information. She only provided a check for $1,393.10 for a full house, garage, yard full of stuff. One neighbor stated that she didn't buy anything but the guy working gave her granddaughter a few of the gnomes. WHAT they were not Brick Roads gnomes to give away. There was one beautiful carved wood shelf BOLTED to the wall with an antique clock sitting on it. She sold or took the shelf off the wall leaving 2 big holes. This was an attached shelf and should not have been removed, from the wall. Owners/Sellers were not allowed to be here during the sale that was to take place on Friday/Sat, but we were told last minute that she had sick employees so they did not have the sale on Friday and said they would do Sun instead. Family showed up Sun afternoon around 2 or 3pm with no one was around and they did not see any signs for Brick Roads or sale on the drive to the house. However, they did find the following notes that were written on three (3) small envelopes for her employees that were coming back to pick up a few things: Note 1} EVERYTHING I WANT YOU TO GRAB IS BY THE FRONT DOOR * 2 STATUES * SAW HORSES * 2 WHEELER * ROSE YARD ART * METAL RAKE * BLACK PLASTIC FENCE Note 2} TAKE AS MANY BLANKETS & PILLOWS AS YOU WANT! IF YOU HAVE ROOM & IT'S NOT A COMPLETE PAIN IN THE A**, GRAB THE SKINNY PALM TREE IN THE FRONT ROOM....PLEASE! I UNDERSTAND IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BUT SURE WLD BE COOL IF YOU DID (with a smiley face and 3 hearts, this was at very bottom of 2nd note) Note 3} TAKE WHATEVER Be Family was buying the house and she was to leave anything that did not sell yet she is telling her employees to take stuff. I've been meaning to post this as this happened in June 2022. I even have pictures taken of the tables set up showing how much/nice the stuff was yet the check she provided was only $1,393.10 and she would not provide the itemized list. I didn't post right away as kept hoping she would provide the list of items she sold over $50 that is stated in the contract, yet we never received anything. This is sad but my mom had nothing, yet we made more money selling the few items she had to retirees ( who are frugal) in Florida after she passed in Mar 2019, yet a whole house/garage full only provide dad with $1,393.10 which was 60% of the sale as Brick Roads took 40% per the contract. Thank goodness, dad's memory is gone so he doesn't know about this.

This was a difficult time for us...I cant thank Brick Road enough for all that they did. The stress…read morerelie was unimaginable. Thanks for everything you were much, much appreciated!
