There were 2 issues which left a bad taste in our mouth after our wedding night but could be easily avoided if we knew ahead of time. 1- We had asked and were told ahead of time it would be no issue to not serve shots at our wedding, and instead of taking time to make sure the bartender knew that we trusted that they would make it clear for us. We found out a little too late that they were serving shots all night to anyone who asked. I was told afterwards that it was written on the bartenders instruction sheet not to serve any shots. So if you're going to have any specific changes to your bar service take some time before people start drinking to talk to your bartender and set clear expectations. 2- we had "DJ Jay" as our supplied DJ from the venue. He contacted us just a few days before the wedding for our playlists and what kind of vibe we wanted for music. To say he didn't follow it would be an understatement. He was unable to read the room and continuously played music nobody was dancing to while not playing any of the songs we requested. On top of that he just gave off an overall unprofessional demeanor. I won't go into more details but given the opportunity I would have requested we either not have this DJ or I would have hired my own outside of the venue. Again if we knew ahead of time we could have avoided those 2 issues and the night would have been perfect. I would highly recommend booking a wedding here, the chapel is small but the service was very efficient. The venue itself is very nice, and it felt like we got more than our moneys worth for the overall aesthetic. Also I will again say Jeff is super easy to work with, he's very responsive, and he does a great job where he can.

When we booked the Valerie it was still in the building phases and we only had the pictures of the visions Matty had. We are so glad we believed in Matty's vision because the venue is breathtaking. The venue just insanely beautiful from the suites, to the ceremony space, to the reception space, to the bars, and even the bathrooms. The communication the Valerie provides is top notch! They are always quick to respond which is amazing when you are planning the wedding. Matty is always willing to help whether it's with giving recommendations or helping answer questions. He also makes contact with the vendors you chose to talk to them about everything you need to know about the venue! I had asked a really close friend about her experience in working with them in 2019. She gave her honest opinion and said she wouldn't recommend them because they made her day more stressful and dropped the ball. However, because her wedding was during Covid I gave Ambrosia grace and wanted my own perception. I met with them accompanied by my sister, which was at first glance appear to be great. I worked with Olivia in planning and creating the vision I had. We were presented with a quote that was $39,000 which was basic decor and mainly the expense of draping and few other items. We would be spending more on decor vs the food portion. We had read over the contract and in it stated that upon signage the contract is null without payment. My fiance and I thought hard on what we can afford total for our wedding and $39,000 for decor/floral was absolutely to much. So our plan was to decrease. Oscar gave us a hard time and said we can't change anything and was firm on saying, if you don't proceed with the contract we would be reported to creditors to sue us and reflect our credit. The way he said this was alarming. My fiancé asked since no money has been paid can we pay out of the contract. Oscar at the time said that is no such thing as paying to get out of a contract. During this conversation via zoom he insulted our intellegian e was rude and extremely disruptive until I read him his own contract and then he began to work with us. Keep in mind this was well over 200 days from our wedding so at any other company walking away would be no issue. So his resolution was to create an addendum and that was us removing items but we would have to pay $6000 within 24 hours. Again another red flag as he was looking for some form of payment to consider the changes. Our aunt wanted to gift us floral, so she paid the $6000 for us. The floral portion of the contract is only estimating $4500. Fast forward we are paying of several things for our wedding and we were hit with a harsh reality of a life changing event which changed the course of our wedding at its entirety. We reached out to every vendor we have been working with and every vendor has been a blessing except Ambrosia. We reach out to them immediately after this event and asked if we can cancel the contract and pay a cancelation fee and if they would be willing to grant us the floral. I met with Oscar and my wedding planner and we were both blown by his response. We had a balance of $18,000 and he said if we cancel we'd be responsible for the $39,000 contract and he would write we could receive the contract, or we could find them a client to replace the lose, or we had to commit to using them for a different event within 6 months. All these were not great options and he was only looking at things from the business prospective and not the fact that we still wanted to make our day happen in some sort and pay a fee. I sent an email with our decision and ask for a written agreement within 24 hours. Oscar said in order to cancel we had to pay $11,000 ASAP to cancel and then we could receive our floral. This was not what he said on the zoom. I stated if we can pay $11,000 we mines we'll pay off the contract and receive everything. Oscar lacks people skills and compassion for people. He is in the line of business where people are making vows and want their special day to be perfect. He will ruin the experience for any couple or corporation because his focus is silly himself and not those he service. I would encourage anyone scouting for venues to look past them unless you have $200,000 sitting to waste to pay in full. I generally can take a L but this is our special day which has been ruined because we are not getting what we paid for with the expectation of paying them an outrageous amount to even cancel and receive what's paid for. I pray that no one has to go through what not only my friend but I experienced.

We used Ambrosia Events for our October 9th 2021 wedding for a number of our rentals.  It almost…read moretook my breath away the first time I walked into the ballroom and saw how beautifuly it had been transformered.  A big piece of that was thanks to Oscar and Ambrosia   The rentals we used turned an already beautiful ballroom into a stunning masterpiece. Oscar's insight and advice was invaluable and resulted in our wedding being absolutely beautiful. Somehow he was able to understand and pull together my many thoughts and visions into offering suggestions that worked perfectly to match what we were trying to do. I also appreciated his great follow thru and communication with us.   We rented chiavari chairs, chargers, up lights, pin spot lights, draping, and an aisle runner. Planning a wedding during covid or non-covid can be very stressful because it is a lot of pieces to manage not to mention so many things u don't know u don't know.. We ended up finding Ambrosia later in our wedding planning. We wished after working with them, we had met them  earlier as  we may have used them for full planning services as well. They would have made our life so much easier.  Ambrosia offers rentals but also full wedding planning services. And given what a great job Oscar and his team did I can only imagine what an amazing job they would do if they planned your full event.  As we were planning our rentals I got to see images of designs of other events they did, Oscar is an artistic genius and designs r not cookie cutter.  Nothing but a positive experience with Ambrosia Events, would highly recommend fir wedding rentals and/or event planning!!

Extremely rude, unprofessional and underhanded. Do not do business with these people…read more A family member asked me to pick up an arch for a wedding and when I arrived to pick it up I was told that I needed to sign the rental agreement for the arch. I explained that I was just the driver and not the actual responsible party for the rental item. They had already paid and had not informed me that I would be signing a lease for wedding arch I was picking up. The sales staff was very rude to me and quite frankly in my opinion they do not have an ethical system of renting out thier items. They bully unsuspecting delivery drivers into signing leases for thier equipment. Here is my story. I was the only one in the family with a truck so naturally I agreed to come pick up the arch for my sister in laws wedding when asked. When I arrived they asked me to sign a lease for the equipment I was picking up. I was not aware I would be the person legally responsible for this several thousand dollar arch. It struck me as very unprofessional and bizarre that they didn't have the party who ordered this item and paid for it sign a lease agreement beforehand and nit the unsuspecting delivery person. If anything the delivery should sign off acknowledging that they have recieved said rental items. Instead the rude and aggressive lady and gentleman at Brookfield Party Rental bullied me into signing. I tried to work something out with them regarding getting the signature from my family member and coming back they very rudely and aggressively told me no that it needs to be the person picking up the item and then told me they were canceling the order when I said I would return back later with thier signature. Of coarse I signed the multiple page fine print leagal document because I didn't want my sister in laws wedding to be ruined. Of which I didn't even have time to read due to thier threats of canceling my sister in laws rental item and unloading it from my truck. They were very rude and have terrible communication and customer service skills. They also are unethical with thier expectation and aproach to getting thier lease documents signed under duress. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. If you do rent from them don't ask someone to go pick up a rental item for you without planning for thier backwards system.

I have family members that had bad experiences with another local party tent company, so I chose them based on the reviews I have read from different sources on the web. I liked the online ordering system, a lot. The young men that came to set-up did a awesome job and were courteous. The tent was in great shape, and the tables were newer along with the chairs. Nothing but a good experience for us. I saw some Yelp reviews about communication with the company - I only contacted them once asking for a install time, and was replied to that they didnt know until 24 hrs before the install date. She was not rude nor did she yell at me for contacting her. Again, would use for all our party needs!
