Very awful. The doctors are rude and look up everything on the internet like I couldn't do that myself. Got my insurance before the appointment and then a week later told my my insurance wasn't accepted and I had to pay the full amount for the appointment. I have been a patient here for almost 8 years, and while it was off to a great start something has definitely shifted in the past few years to make me want to leave this place. I am so beyond upset with how poorly I was treated here and how this place only cares about taking your money and not helping you as a patient. I was charged for every single question I asked and most of the time I was told I needed an appointment to even to ask a single question. No one calls you back. I have to call over five times to get a prescription refilled. It just feels like all they want is my money instead of genuinely trying to help me. And then when I voiced my concerns I was put down by the staff (both the doctor and the front desk). I then tried to transfer out today and Sarah Tyler refused to write a referral for me. This type of patient care is not okay and should never be allowed. read more

Unfortunately, I do not recommend the Sound Clinic. I've never felt compelled to write a review before, until what happened there today. I only want to make future/current patients aware so it doesn't potentially happen to anyone else. I've been to the Denver office multiple times to see S. Murphy with no issue. I've always been on time and have always had a decent experience. Unfortunately my original appointment was canceled without reason by S. Murphy...in which I had to reschedule an additional month or 2 out. I was understanding and asked to be put on a cancellation list in this case. My appointment was then moved up due to a cancellation, which I was happy about. Day of, I was stuck in a work meeting that went over time before my appointment. I then proceeded to call the Sound Clinic front desk and let them know I was running 15 minutes late ahead of time, out of respect and to be considerate (I also do not live close to the Denver office). When I arrived at the office (17 min late), I apologized for being late and was able to check in without problem. Shortly after I was seated, they told me they could not take my appointment since I was past the 15 min grace period...by 2 minutes. Like I said, I've never been late before and there was absolutely no desire from them to be understanding or to try to work around the situation. Not to mention, they wanted to reschedule the appointment and the next opening wasn't for another 2 months. This was something that was out of my control and I tried my best to be there as soon as I could and let them know ahead of the appointment. I'm still shocked I was treated this way. Never in my life have I experienced something like this, especially from a patient centered establishment that is meant to help people. I hope they eventually make changes to some of their policies so they don't lose good patients over things that could've been avoided. Im disappointed and will not be back. read more

After my first appointment with Sound Clinic, I was finally validated for the symptoms I was having and finally have an approach to tackle them. And I love the mix of the traditional and naturopathic approach Sound Clinic uses since I was seeing both types of doctors, but it was hard that my old PCP wouldn't take my naturopathic doctor's recommendations. DO NOT GO HER!!!! I found this clinic through a friend who recommended them for hormonal therapy and I was seeking a particular provider. I waited 2 months for my appointment and met with her, she took my medical history and came up with a plan and ordered HRT. One and one half weeks go by and I get a notification the provider was leaving the Clinic and they were going to assign me to someone else. I sought out this provider specifically, SHAME ON YOU SHERI FOX for taking my appointment knowing you were leaving. SHAME ON YOU AND THE CLINIC. The clinic charges $450 to see a provider, who takes your PMH, puts you on dangers HRT with no plans for follow up by that provider. That provider should recommend a replacement personally and not just have the office pick one for you, they are the expert after all. read more

I'm so grateful that I came to Sound Clinic for prolotherapy (which they actually do prolozone - even better as ozone has heightened effects). I couldn't be more impressed. I was on a bad saga of health care providers and thanks to Sound Clinic I am pain-free and can now avoid spinal surgery. Feb 2021: Doing a yoga pose, I ended up in the ER after my back spasmed. June 2021-Sep 2021: More limited function. Got a MRI that showed disc degeneration and was referred to a spinal surgeon and he was zero help. Dec 2021: Injured my back again. I was recommended to try steroid shots before going into surgery. I did four steroid shots and was in extreme sciatic pain radiating down my left leg. April 2022: Had a spinal surgeon on the calendar before I listened to myself and decided to pursue something more sacrum related as the pain was really coming from this area and not where the disc herniation was located. All symptoms pointed towards a sacrum injury meanwhile the spinal doctors disagreed with me and said my sacrum pain was coming from stenosis. On a late night Google search, I found Shawn Naylor's name buried onto another review and set up an appt. They got me in at the end of April and there were no shenanigans. He gave me prolozone at the same appointment and two days later I was walking pain free again. Later, it was diagnosed that my issues had come from a collapsed left arch that led to a crooked sacrum. Imagine this: Couldn't walk for four months more than 5 minutes to walking as long as I'd like now Couldn't go to yoga from Feb 2021-April 2022 and am now going to yoga 1-2 times per week (taking it slow!) Couldn't pick up my two-year old son and can now lift him into the air Couldn't pick up heavy loads of groceries and have no limitations now. I believe Sound Clinic is progressive, listens to the patient and above all else, is willing to help in any way they can. Dr. Naylor also provided a kidney detox supplement that has helped me detox from NSAIDs that I was on for months, as well. I also think the reviews that critique the staff are unwarranted. Have been coming to the Sound Clinic for a few years now, and love the staff and Dr. Diamond. They practice "integrative medicine", or in my layman's terms holistic medicine, which roughly means instead of immediately writing a prescription to try and solve a hyperspecific symptom, the staff takes time to listen and hear about your entire wellbeing. Then based off of this holistic assessment, they recommend "treatment" and/or lifestyle changes. And what I love is they always try and improve using natural supplements first. In short: absolutely fantastic doctors and office staff. Absolutely horrible office manager who made me want to find a new doctor today. So I recommend the doctors and advise you to take caution and be fully aware of their policies because the office manager clearly had no social skills for interacting with humans or recognizing that flexibility for when 'life' happens or for when her system screws up. For those interested- here's the long version with details: Ill start with the good, because this really should be a 5 star review: I LOVE Dr. Diamond, and I love the office staff. I have been going to this office for close to 2 years now, and as someone who requires regular medications and tends to get sick A LOT - Dr. Diamond and the office team is absolutely amazing. You can't always get in to see her on short notice, but the office staff will always find a way to fit you in with someone else and everyone here is great. My experience with Dr. Diamond is that she treats the whole patient, not just the one thing that's bothering you at the moment. She looks for underlying causes and connections. If you want to find alternative treatments, she'll help you and advise but won't shun traditional medicines either. She's my absolute favorite doctor I've ever had. I've also seen Sheri Fox here for last minute sick visits and she's been fantastic. Thoughtful, actually listens to what's bothering you and finding the right treatment- not just writing a script for a z pack and sending you out the door. I can not recommend the doctors enough. The office staff are always polite. They run a tight ship and because of it you never wait more than 5-10 min. They have and implement late policies, I think 10min late and you miss your appointment. I appreciate not having to wait though so I support that! And if it's a real emergency or one time thing they'll usually try to work with you. Okay- now for the bad and why I dropped 2 stars off. The Office Manager and her garbage policies that do not translate to people with jobs and the way that office runs. There's a 24hr cancellation policy or you get charged $50. They take this to the hour, I called the day before my appointment to cancel. I called but had to leave a message (after 9am that's generally the case). I then proceeded to call and leave 2-3 more messages because no one called me back to confirm. Then a few weeks later I got a $50 bill from them. I called them, again, messages to the office manager with no call back, so I brought it into the office at my next appointment. Apparently I called 20hrs prior not 24hrs prior and it took the doctor saying that it was absurd to get the charge removed!!! Today- I see an appointment pops up on my calendar. I thought I had cancelled it the last time I was in since I wouldn't need the refills, but since it wasn't on my calendar I called. I offered to come in and waste the doctors time if there was nothing I could do to avoid the fee. I tell them I never got a text reminder- they failed to update my phone number in the system that I had been trying to update for months. They call me back, and the office manager relays a message through the lovely office staffer that it's 'the last time' I'll get an exception, warning me like she's my mother through this young girl. Then has the audacity to say my phone seems to be working- bc they called me in the correct number that I updated on the first call to them this morning! And in the same breath admitted that text reminders were going to my other phone. I have zero patience for treating people unnecessarily rude and making things like healthcare unnecessarily difficult. To have to play phone tag and be disciplined by some rude office manager on a power trip just to cancel an appointment (which you need to make months in advance bc of how busy they are) is just absurd. The stress this woman caused me this morning is ridiculous. It would have been easier for me to go to my appointment and waste the doctors time. I hope the Sound Clinic gets a new office manager because after this morning, if I have one more encounter with this woman 'warning me' and yelling at me through her staff I'm going to have to leave the doctors I love and find somewhere else. read more

The medical aspect is pretty good and was able to treat several issues that made me well again. The major downside is the scheduling. They will schedule you months down the road. For certain important situations, it is a major drawback. Was very frustrating and disappointed that I had to end after only two visits. Not deaf friendly on the scheduling part as well or any general calls. One star is what Sound Clinic desperately deserves. read more

Together, we figure out the path forward. Then, when I had post-concussion issues, their specialist osteopath was able to diagnose my issue and invite my body to a place of healing all without the help of symptom making pharmaceuticals. Dr. Naylor would not bill the test he had ordered under my insurance, even though it was a covered test. I had called my insurance company prior to the appt to clarify, and mentioned this to him during the appt. He STILL would not bill for it the correct way, and stuck me with the bill. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with my insurance company trying to figure it out, and multiple people at the insurance company reassured me (again) that it was a covered test. He messaged me saying there was no mistake on his part, and was quite unpleasant regarding the entire process. Ultimately the test was refunded, as we hadn't done it yet, but it wasted a lot of my time and definitely was not the right thing to do on his part. This is not how medical offices are supposed to operate. Proceed with caution at this clinic. I also paid $400 in supplements at the time of the visit that just caused stomach upset. read more

This was not the high tech, modern medical experience I was promised through their advertising. The "DR" that saw me was in fact a physicians assistant who never disclosed that to me!!! I was there for a physical and check up - they didn't even take my temperature. She had plenty of time carved out for our appointment, didn't seem rushed, wasn't judgmental or dogmatic, and most importantly --- she listened. Do not get ozone therapy. I read about this therapy in a holistic magazine and it made it sound well researched and great. So I went to the Sound Clinic to have it done as I've always had pain and arthritis in both knees. I'm very glad I decided to only do one knee at a time to make sure it worked. I had it done in the left knee. My left knee now aches all of the time. It is waaaay worse now than my right. Both knees have always made a lot of clicking and crunching noises when I bend and straighten them, and there is a noticable difference... with the left much worse than the right. I am really depressed I had this done. My other complaint is that Dr. Naylor wanted to do muscle testing on me. I agreed, as I have had this done in the past and I really liked it, it seemed to work. He then had his assistant touch me and he tested her and ended up concluding that I had a parasite problem. I am pretty sure that I do not have parasites. I've been tested for them and I had been on many anti-parasitic medicines for a bacterial overgrowth of my small intestine. Dr. Naylor didn't take any of this into consideration. I've been to many alternative practitioners and I do not trust these guys. read more

We have been to Dr Keyhoe in the Louisville office, Dr Krebbs in Louisville and Dr. S Naylor in Denver. They are all fantastic doctors and I highly recommend this practice. I am very appreciate of the integrative approach to health and their expertise specifically about Lyme Disease and the Co-infections that my daughter has been experiencing. I have seen reviews that Dr. Naylor's bedside manner is not great. You need to go into the appointment knowing that he is not going to sugar coat his diagnosis or be a cheer leader. The best doctor I have had in 8 years with severe chronic illness. I got to where after years of bad experiences, I barely trusted doctors anymore, even top llmds, since they weren't really helping or the treatment was too hard on my body. Dr. Naylor earned my trust because the treatments he put me on got me to improve, with hardly any die-off or side effects like I had with other regimens in the past. He's also kind and respectful. I have Lyme disease and mold illness (previously diagnosed, before going there, by strict cdc criteria). He is a good Lyme doctor. I had to move out of state and stopped seeing him but I'm going to make the trip and go back since I can't find anyone as good where I am now. read more

She is an excellent primary care physician and I always leave my appointments feeling heard and my health in good hands. They offered alternative treatments that have been proven to not help my condition. I didn't cover anything with Sarah that would have been charged additional by any other Dr in an annual physical. And... She's not even a Doctor! Then... Super creepy and borderline cult-like. I went in a few weeks ago with headaches and was told I have Lyme disease... which I tested negative for. But apparently that test is inaccurate (despite being widely used) and the only way to know is several hundred dollars worth of tests. insurance covers none of it, ofc. the treatment suggested was either purchasing $90+ of their meds they sell at check-out (containing mystery ingredients) or pay ridiulous amounts for "muscle therapy." can't find any info for it online and the paperwork they gave me on it was wild. some even vaguer, energy healing type shit. staff had abrasive music playing. it all felt very predatory. taking advantage of the ill to sell snake oil. absolutely ridiculous, rude, and a waste of money. no real help given. also they had a shelf in the checkout snake oil pill section full of "free" "3+ years expired" vitamins and medications. what. is that legal??? look, placebo "cure rate" is as high as 75%. do yourself a favor and pick something cheaper and more pleasant. read more

I heard about Dr. Naylor from two different people who said that Dr. Naylor saved their life. My husband has been dealing with different complex health issues for a while and after not making much progress with a previous Doctor we decided to make an appointment with Dr. Naylor. I can now confidently write this review after seeing how much progress my husband has made the past 6 months and we finally feel that he is on on the right path. My husband has had gut issues and neurological symptoms that we couldn't figure out what the cause was and those are now going away. His energy levels have gotten much better and he is back to feeling like himself. While we don't have a personal account of Amie, those we have referred speak highly of her. Dr. Shawn and Lyndsay Naylor provide exceptional health care. They can explain a concept in great detail or break it down into simple explanations. I appreciate their efforts to recognize that a patient has an intelligent and active role in their health. As a patient you will be treated with dignity and respect. They make the time to sincerely listen to your concerns. Both will think "outside the box" if necessary to explore solutions to your issues. As a licensed professional myself, I admire their quest to stay current with research and information; this factor maintains my confidence in their practice. For a year and a half, Dr. Lyndsay has been the primary care provider for myself and three of my children. She continues to manage our healthcare with positive outcomes. Lyndsay's approach establishes trust and she engages my kids so well that they look forward to their appointments. Her excellent OMT skills have brought relief to my daughter's braces adjustments as well as, an overall benefit to our health every time we leave her office. Just as educators differ on the best approach to teach students, physicians also take various approaches to heal patients; results are the key. We have experience with a Missouri physician who believes that thyroid issues should be a clinical diagnosis; his decades of work have shown him that he should treat to the patient rather than the labs exclusively. Many of the infections that Dr. Shawn Naylor treats are also based on a clinical diagnosis. We have family members who have been CDC positive and those who have been negative, but all have seen improvement of symptoms due to his care. Our society is extremely mobile; infections can be picked up through travel, in vitro, blood transfusions, etc. Thoroughly do your research with caution. Some of these infections are not well known either by the public or medical community. One of my friends is an ER nurse manager at a large hospital in Colorado Springs; she had never heard of three of my infections nor did she realize how symptoms vary in people. One of our daughters was CDC positive with very few symptoms. Our son was a successful engineering student who developed memory issues, fatigue, and headaches. One physician wanted to put him on anti depressants rather than figure out the cause; Dr. Naylor knew the cause of the rash he had and after a few months of treatment, his symptoms improved. We had taken our other daughter to 16 different providers looking for answers to her symptoms. A Boulder doctor referred us to Sound Clinic, and she credits Dr. Naylor with "saving" her life. I believe that if a doctor had diagnosed me sooner, my need for 14 of my 15 costly surgeries could have been avoided. Affordability is an issue and a conscientious choice. During treatment you may have to decide to buy solutions for your health instead of $30-60 for clothing, the movies, or a restaurant expense. Good health is PRICELESS. I have dealt with physicians in ten different states and in Germany; some of them are Northwestern in Chicago, Children's Mercy in Kansas City, and Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
