Best decision I ever made booking with Kami and Brandon. First of all the both of them are amazing people and very professional, they show up and understood the assignment and delivered what they promised. In addition to being incredible DJs, they were phenomenally helpful and creative partners in preparing for and executing all aspects of the ceremony and party. Kami, his wife, acts as a coordinator at events and is incredibly experienced and helpful for pretty much any situation that might occur. After doing a bit of browsing through various services, we checked out these two and decided to go with them for our wedding this past week. Keep in mind I was a musician and sound board monkey for a number of years in college, so proper gear and planning meant more than "he has microphones" coming from me. Hiring them could be the best choice we made for the whole wedding. They met with us a few times before our wedding to help plan and work out all the details for the entire day. Right from the get-go they had a wealth of helpful information and planning guides to help you come up with the right plan for your ideal wedding. From there they only got better to work with. They are a great help in getting your music selections together, very stress free. We had an excellent music lineup ready to go, made the reception a blast for everyone. Brandon has everything in hand for his setup, proper mic setup and equipment were all ready to go well ahead of schedule with no issues. Kami was beyond helpful during the day of our wedding. She had the full plan for the day, even joining us at the rehearsal the evening before so she'd be up on any ceremony changes. She kept everything moving smoothly, and was all over any potential problems which cropped up throughout the day. You need Kami and Brandon in your life. They were recommended to us by our wedding photographer. She pointed out that it's a really good idea (if you can make the stars align just right) to have your photographer and DJ know each other because each is essentially responsible for helping set and adhere to you Day Of timeline. Brandon is one of the best DJs in the industry. He is insanely detail oriented and will take great care of you and your guests. We went through a worksheet prior to the wedding to help him hone in on our music tastes (not easy hubs likes Heavy Metal and me, I like Country and classic rock). Brandon also designed the photo strips for our photo booth. He used our save the date card and invitation as inspiration. He made random announcements to help take the burden off of others (we had an unplugged ceremony, a tribute to my dad who passed away about 4 years ago, and we donated all of the flowers to home bound seniors). He kept everyone out on the dance floor. People who didn't intend to dance were out there having a ball. Kami is the assistant you wish you had just to help you adult and survive life. She is detail oriented and super organized. She calls herself an entertainment coordinator but she can fill whatever roll you need. She acted as our month of coordinator. My favorite response to questions became "Have you met my friend Kami?! Cuz you should ask Kami that question not me." Kami ran our dress rehearsal. Taught all of the girls how to hold flowers. Taught 7 engineers how to all follow cues (at the same time). Befriended my 3 yr old nephew (ring bearer) and was able to help him feel comfortable. Kami randomly shoved food and water at me all afternoon/ night (especially during photos) on the wedding day. She was there making sure that everything went well. Most of all, having her there meant I and all of my family and friends could enjoy the day. Kami and Brandon ran the wedding perfectly. They were mic-ed up with each other. We had an acoustic duo play our ceremony. They helped cue them, provided microphones for the duo, readers, officiant and groom. They had backups of all of our ceremony songs just in case. They are an amazing team and work really well together. They had an assistant running the photo booth which was so worth it. We thought we could DIY it but I am so glad we didn't. By this I mean EVERYTHING, from the moment my groomsmen and I walked to the front of the ceremony, to the bridal party intros/first dance/honeymoon dance/cake cutting, all the way to the last dance. Kami even dealt with some rude family members who were angry about the seating arrangements. And she did it all with a smile on her face. Kami is very, very good about timing things during the ceremony, and keeping the pace of the reception going. - Uplighting on the walls of our reception location. - A photo booth manned by two very helpful technicians (I can't recommend this service enough: our guests loved it!). A few other things that stood out was how Kami was waiting with two glasses of ice water for my wife and I to sip on during photos after the ceremony. Seriously, a little thing like this made a deep impression on me: Kami and Brandon clearly take what they do seriously, and are aiming to be the best at it. I really liked how Brandon kept the "dance party" portion of the evening going: there were always people on the dance floor. He is not "campy" or "corny" like many wedding DJ's you see because he seems to understand how to just "be in the moment" with your guests. This is my first yelp review, and I just had to do it. Brandon and Kami are great! What a team... they handle everything. Brandon and Kami worked at my daughter's wedding at Grand Island Mansion, a place where you need several sound systems and there is a lot of crowd movement. It went beautifully! Right from the start, they were involved and met with my daughter a couple of times which helped tremendously to alleviate some of the planning stress. On the day of the wedding, Brandon was constantly on the move from one room to another, playing great music, announcing everything in a timely manner and it was perfect; he was even able to squeeze in a last-minute dance battle. Kami stepped right in and made sure everything flowed smoothly. There is a definite benefit of having a husband/wife team working together; they were in constant communication with each other. Kami was running around gathering people and putting them where they needed to be at certain times throughout the entire event. Kami would find me and keep my apprised of what was taking place. Brandon and Kami are AMAZING!!! They are professional, courteous and responsive. They are a great team and made our wedding planning and wedding day so much less stressful! They provided lighting, music (ceremony and reception), and photo booth for our wedding. Brandon was professional and funny in his introductions of our wedding party and throughout the night when he informed guests of what was coming up. Kami was awesome at keeping us on point and up to date of what was coming next. Our wedding venue had a shorter time frame due to noise constrictions of the neighborhood, so we had to make a few on the fly decisions regarding certain special dances during the reception (like the money dance). Kami and Brandon were responsive and had no problems changing things up when needed. They kept things on time and moving smoothly. Overall - they are so fantastic. I saw Sound Image Entertainment at a wedding. I was so impressed by their professionalism and class that when I needed a DJ I immediately went with them. We used Sound Image Entertainment for a Halloween dance for our church youth group. We were extremely picky about the music and the program. I adore Kami and Brandon!! They made our daughter's wedding a huge success. These two are brilliant in what they come up with for your wedding, you have an idea and they perfect it. Most importantly they care if your wedding is wonderful, they care a lot. So many of our wedding guests and even our photographer said they had never had more fun at a wedding- because Kami and Brandon have the experience and professionalism to make that happen. Both of them went above and beyond the call of duty to help our wedding be a huge success. I am forever grateful. Their company also provides a photo booth which was a HUGE hit. My daughter and her husband wanted everyone to have fun above all else at their wedding, they did not want a "stuffy" wedding, Kami and Brandon made sure everyone laughed all night long with all they provided.
