I have been going to Sound Image for about the last 8 years. I've bought 8 different sound systems and 3 different car alarms from them. Their products are always quality and their prices the lowest I have found around town. They carry QUALITY brands as well as some more economical ones if you're not that into sound quality and just want something to get by. You may find an amp or speakers cheaper elsewhere but are they quality? Their employees are knowledgable and down to earth. If you're a do it yourself person they are more than willing to answer questions to help out. They are all about the end result whether you are doing the work or they are. They've done a great job on all the cars I've brought them; 96 Tercel, 92 Accord, 96 TL, 95 Sierra, and 09 Mazda 3 and I have sent them countless customers who are satisified with their systems/alarms etc. I will never set foot in another stereo shop! read more

I was looking for a reasonable place to get a new stereo, and after visiting several in the Stockton area, I came into Sound Image. What can I say the positive reviews were right, Shawn took care of us the day before Christmas Eve. When we came in they were rather busy, but since what were looking for did not need a lot of extras, Shawn went ahead and took care of us right then and there. Were out of there within an hour, at a reasonable price. The customer service here was excellent, as they did not try to up-sale us, rather Shawn listened to what we wanted and respected our decision. By far one of the best car audio/video and alarm stores from modesto to sacramento and right back to stockton!!! i like all the service that i received with fair prices and huge amounts of knowldge. First off I have to say they have the best prices in town.. They sell quality subs and amps and do great work.. And they still give a great Warranty with their merchandise whether you do the installation yourself or them. Most shops only give 30 day warranty if you do your own installation. The people here are real cool and respectful. When ever i picture a job such as car accessory installation I image a testosterone filled environment, but these men weren't like that at all. They get down to business and do their jobs fast and affordable. I was only charged like 70$ and they installed a stereo I bought from best buy. Best Buy was trying to charge me 150$ and other places were in the hundreds. Killer service.. Very helpful.. I brought my own 10s in that I had in a previous truck.. Wouldn't fit correctly, built me a box free of charge.. Had them install an alarm, finished in less than 2 hrs.. I had a quote from another shop and sound image beat it by 250 bucks.. I had an alarm, subs installed, DVD player head unit, and the windows tinted all in like 4 hrs total. That's with the box being modified.. I was very satisfied with the service here. They have the best prices in town and their service is impeccable. I was very happy with how helpful they were and how quickly they got the job done. If you need speakers installed or an amp they will take care of that and much more. They install alarm systems, window tint, DVD players, etc. Moody was extremely helpful and negotiated his prices fairly. Definitely will do business with them again. I came in to get my Viper alarm and sensors installed in my car that I purchased myself. All I had to do was pay them for labor. Which I was quoted at $100. Which isn't bad at all compared to other shops. They did a nice clean install within about 2 hours. And everything works perfectly. Don't take your car anywhere else! My 2009 toyota camry driver side front and rear speakers were not working so i called sound image on a busy Sunday. They guided me very politely to reach their shop. when they diagnosed they came to know those speakers are not faulty it was due to the settings (he set all back to 0) though i wasted their time they did not charge me anything. This place is awesome and sooo helpful! Came here to get a module for a 2003 Chevy Silverado and was $140 out the door. All other competitors wanted $189-200 plus tax out the door. Really great customer service. Ask for Sean! He hooked up all of the wiring and only charged $10. Everything has awesome prices and he gave us discounts for our first visit. I went in to Sound image to tint my Nissan Altima. I was afraid to go in because there reviews of window tinting wasn't the best on yelp. Talk to Shawn, he guaranteed the tint for five years. Took about 2 hours so wasn't too bad. The tint came out really nice, was surprised and glad everything came out great. Definitely recommend this shop.
