Sound pest control charged me 0ver $758 to spend one hr 30 mins inside one room where the missed a closet and outside and then when I called them to say they missed a huge rodent entry my handyman found in the closet in the room they inspected they were incredibly defensive and rude . The worst customer service I've ever experienced and then they canceled coming rather than listen and said instead they were picking up the bait boxes they left . We Paid them to find where mice were entering into our home. They did not find where they were getting in, instead made a temporary fix by the garage door - there is no access from the garage into the home or Crawlspace. Threw two $0.50 mouse traps into the crawl space, one was upside down. They said they would be back out to make sure there were no more rodents. There were more rodents, but they did not come back out and refused to come do the job we paid them to do. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was with Sound Post Control for over 10 years. I had them do rodent services in my crawl space and around the exterior of my home. 5 years after receiving services, in 2021, not a month after I found out I was pregnant with my only child, that my doctor's told me would be hard to convince, and during COVID they suggested the only a crawl space clean out and some repairs to my crawl space. I was high risk due to my age and COVID, I was fearful to have anyone enter my spaces at home as I was not going in public unless necessary. My son was born later that year and time passed. No other suggestions of crawl space clean out or any repairs. Last month I wanted to install a HVAC unit and the contractor said that they couldn't do the project until my crawl space was taken care of, they found a rat in a trap and other rodent issues they deemed unfit for their staff. The condition of my crawl space is bad, installation in areas ruined, vapor barrier torn in places, burrow holes, feces. Sound Pest Control is taking not any responsibility, washed their hands clean of it. After all the years of paying them to mitigate a rodent problem they failed me. Basically laying traps and refilling them for over 10 years with nothing more. They say no contracts but be warned you should because everything should be in writing. I never write negative reviews but I feel fairly disappointed in the level of service received. I paid close to $250 dollars for them to come out for a one time visit and spray for bugs with an emphasis on the spiders located on our back porch. I'm not even sure if they had even sprayed the entire perimeter and if they did, had not put the attention to detail they had noted in their report. The tech rang my door around 8:07am. I left to go back inside to attend to my kids and would glance out the window at the service truck here and there. I noticed they had left around 8:36am. It was 30 minutes of service which I noticed most of that time the tech was in the truck. When I called they said the tech's notes said they did a thorough job and did spray the entire perimeter. When I asked how long a service like this usually last, they told me an hour to an hour and a half. This was quite a surprise to me as I barely saw a half an hour of service and they told me the report says service was complete around 9:05am. Since I was inside I'm assuming they were thinking I was not paying attention. It would have been in my best interest to have monitored the work. I can not completely verify if they did a complete perimeter job and if they did it was rushed. When I received a call back it felt as if there was no interest in making things right, similar to another negative post I had seen. I think that this place is wonderful! I called because I had carpet beetles. They were out the day after I called. The exterminator was very informative and gave me advice. He wore booties in my house. He took time to explain things to me with all my questions. They were fairly priced for the service. Talking with the scheduler was easy and she was friendly. We had a huge infestation of Bed Bugs and it was a nightmare. Marty Huff from Sound Pest Control came over as soon as he could.He was so professional and through in his inspection . He explain all the procedures that he was going to do. He explain everything about bed bug infestation and what to look for in the future. I just used Sound Pest Control for ants and had an unfortunate and frustrating experience. I don't usually write comments about businesses unless its pretty bad. The gal on the phone was super nice but the technician who was sent was 2 hours late and was super sloppy. He didnt take off his shoes and stepped in some really sticky Terro product and tracked it all over my bathroom, hallway and mudroom. Its been two days of cleaning my master bathroom floor and the company gave me a $30 off (off a $350 price tag - for spraying for 20 minutes! - the price is another problem I had!). They came out last year for an ant problem, the technician seemed to know what he was talking about....but, after several treatments, our ants were still unaffected...we spent hundreds of $$$ for nothing!! I called to cancel. So...yesterday, they show up at our house while we're at work...then leave us a bill for $130.00!!!!!! Afraid of hornets! Seriously. I booked them, they came out, and the guy refused to spray the hornets nest. He used an excuse that he didn't have a big enough ladder. That was not true. He was just afraid of the wasps. They wouldn't come out again. Called another local pest place and they came out no problem and did it in 5 minutes. read more

Moved into a house that was vacant for 3 years on 3 acres. Needless to the "pests"had made themselves at home. SOund Pest Control came out and treated the house and after a few months we were pest free!!! This winter the field mice decided that my car would be a great snack and chewed through my windshield wiper fluid reservoir. Sound Pest control came out, did a thorough inspection and showed me the plan of action with a quote on the spot. The technician showed me (via pics he took) of the ways the mice were getting in under the house and walked me around showing me every nook and cranny that would be an issue. The next week he came and and sealed up all the entryways and set bait stations. I have not seen a mouse since the day the work was done. The technician was polite, cleaned up after himself, and kept me in the loop of the work being performed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needed help with pests!!! read more
