We had these guys over for a full…read moreelectrical rewire (our outlets were not grounded) Amazingly.. they realized that a full rewire was NOT required! They found a ground and was able to attach every single socket to ground without a full rewire!!! They also added GFCI protection to the kitchen and bathrooms. They saved us tens of thousands of dollars and gave us a top notch fully modernized wired home. They also rewired our backyard, updated all the light switches, added a google sensor camera, AND found a way to have us control the waterfall without having to manually plug it in by adding a conveniently located switch by the door! They even went under the house in the crawl space to fix a poorly wired outlet done by a previous unlicensed contractor. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. These guys are beyond professional and take so much pride in what they do. And, because they know what they're doing, they will save you money by getting the job done in the most efficient and effective way.

They made some extremely poor decisions about switch placement, and ignored my instructions and requests about receptacles. Worst of all: they did not respond at all to repeated contact about fixing the problems afterwards. They ghosted me. Did not provide a 220 outlet in garage as asked. Did not provide a ceiling fan rated workbox where requested. Did not provided receptacles where requested. Did not provide three-way switches where requested. Did not provide switch-operated receptacles where requested. Installed ceiling fan as requested, but fan now has a short and fan shuts off.

I have never felt more comfortable dealing with an electric company and a person like Emmanuel than I did on this project. The technician he sent out was first rate. He removed all the ceiling fans one by one and did so in in a fashion that would not cause me any discomfort. Once the ceiling fans were installed the technician began to disassemble all the old fans and put them outside in a location where I could have them picked up by our local trash company for disposal. Once that was done, he took all the boxes for the new fans and took them to the dumpster near the manager's office where I live for them to place in their dumpster for proper disposal. It is a rarity to find a company and individuals that are this dedicated to their customers. I do have additional electrical projects I would like to do, and I will give all my business to Slade Electric. The quote seemed really really high for the fix. They also tried to get me to replace an item that was not broken (it would cost almost 3 grand to fix.... so hey why not just replace the whole unit right)? 69.00 service call paid and down the drain. I decided to shop around... Contacted Barnett's to get a 2nd option on an the AC issue. They came out right away and verified it was the same issue. Corrected the issue and charged 35% less then the other guys to the tune of a 235.00 savings! I don't know about you but I don't have 235.00 to just throw away! Fast friendly service from the tech Keough, and great communication from Kathy at their office who spoke with me multiple times and coordinated the appointment. Two thumbs up for Barnetts!

I requested for the service in January - Jose called me and got an appointment on the same day. I…read morewas happy about that. My original request was for the electrical inspection because I was doubting that there may be other underlying issues that burnt 2 of the receptacles at my condo. Jose didn't find any fault in my circuit breaker and diagnosed that it was because the burnt receptacles are not aluminum rated and that my tenant was using way too much electricity. So, he replaced both of them with aluminum rated outlets within about half an hour for $620 + 3% credit card fee. I felt it was pretty expensive but he explained that it was mainly because of how messy it was for him to clean it up. He offered to come back for an additional inspection of the rest of the outlets for a cheaper price. He said he wasn't able to inspect the rest that day because of how messy my condo was. I didn't feel like it was a professional comment to make. Well...another 2 receptacles stopped working the very next day. I ended up calling another company and they educated me about everything in details. I ended up requesting to add dedicated circuits for the microwave and fridge. Now, there's no more problem! I wish Jose diagnosed the underlying problem instead of making the quick money on just replacing the receptacles.
