Just recently I went to the area again to visit a poetry event at the Vibe Gallery. It was a great evening full of spoken word, music and performances. The Vibe Gallery includes a bar offering a range of drinks at reasonable prices. If you are interested in any kind of contemporary art, it might be worth reading through Vibe Gallery's events and exhibitions. Vibe Gallery seems to be a lively and interesting place, and I will definitely go there again when something is on that appeals to me.

There is a small bar here that you can grab a drink while you walk around, they take credit cards. Overall it's kinda like a dive museum, but o believe worth it to get off the beaten path and away from the crowd of tourists. It is a sketchy neighborhood and the buses to get here are pretty rundown.

Located in a gated area with working factories, micro breweries and other commercial establishments. Stroll through, it's free and they play great tunes throughout as you enjoy the neon art. The surrounding area has a large number fabulous and authentic global ethnic cuisine options and apparently the longest outdoor street market in London. The William Morris childhood Home and his Museum is also nearby so the area, is free and interesting. Overall it's a great day trip less than 45 minutes tube ride from London.

As far as pubs and bars go in this area, this is one of the best. If you want to large it, have a boogie, make friends with strangers and wake up with a saucepan next to your head, coming here is totally the right way to start your night. This place is part of the same group as The White Hart and The Antelope, which is just a few doors down. It's loved by the cool kids of the south and treated like their mecca. It's a strange mix with funny hair cuts, skinny jeans, plaid shirts who also mingle with white bootcut jeans and tops from Jane Norman. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just saying its a weird mix. Drinks are reasonable and there is loads of sitting space. It's just a bit of an arse when you get there that they have all been reserved for the rest of the night. The place is just back from Mitcham road and there will be big men on the door. They won't let you in if you come too late though as it gets full quick and becomes one in one out.

There are many British paintings but the largest collection is from the Victorian era ... yes there are lots of Pre-Raphaelites. The 18th Century American painter John Singleton Copley is represented by his huge masterpiece 'Defeat of the Floating batteries at Gibraltar.' And at the lowest lever level of the museum are the discovered ruins of the great Roman amphitheatre in Londinium. Everything is displayed nicely and the Guildhall Art Gallery staff are especially friendly. Don't miss it!

Find .Ever! Hallelujah! They have free guide tours on specific times and days - It is so worth checking out. The tour guide was incredibly informative with the history and knowledge of the artist behind each paintings. There was a group of us who was shown around the gallery (it is huge!) and our heads were filled with so much incredible information about the history of London. The highlight of the gallery is the last remains of amphitheatre which is down by the basement. For someone who has a passion for history, this place blew me away. It is certainly worth checking out!

I loved this gallery the vases, clocks, funiture and paintings were just beautiful. It is a hidden gem in London! However do expect to pay ££££'s for an item, so if you aren't that rich then you can just visit the gallery.

During the Queen's Jubilee Celebration, this beautiful venue Saatchi Gallery is featuring the…read moreamazing Tiffany and Co exhibit. No need to tell you as it was over the top dazzling experience! We spent almost four hours going through exquisite jewelry collections and learning about the company's history, designers and inspiration for their creativity. The gallery is spacious with high ceilings, great air quality, lighting and clean! The restrooms were also just as nice! SAATCHI GALLERY is a lovely place to explore !

You should check when the events are, because it could interfere with the areas being available for a visit. There was also a beautiful outdoor area that would have been amazing to sit at the café outdoors and admire the scenery, but unfortunately it was raining at the time of our visit and it would not have been as enjoyable to sit outdoors here. Would definitely come back to explore more, and hoping the weather will be better in the future.

Very disappointing experience. I'll start with the good. The front desk staff was incredible,…read morevery friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, the concierge was probably the worst ever. I received a package via Amazon and showed him the details from the Amazon email. He condescendingly asked me where it was on his list, where it wasn't printed, and stressed that if it wasn't there they did not get a package. I cannot put into words how condescending he was. I left for dinner worried the package was lost or misdelivered. When I returned, he was no longer there so I asked the great front desk staff if they had received a package for me. They remembered getting something and checked a few places, long story short is they found the package. Again, kudos to the front desk who went the extra mile for me, but why was the concierge so negativistic and self assured. Another positive was the fitness Centre, which had some great equipment, including a nice rower and treadmill. Unfortunately, the smell in the hallway leading to the fitness centre almost made me sick every day. A couple other challenges from the property. The room is what I would have imagined a jail cell. A small mattress just thrown into a corner. Also, the door to the bathroom slammed every time I went in, I am sure not very pleasant for my neighbors. Also the fire alarm went off at 7 am my last night, the cherry on top.
