Occasionally you will have a couple people who come into this league knowing how to play volleyball but are there anyways for a ego boost. If you are new to volleyball, read here. Yes this league may be a good starting point as it's very beginner level play, it's good for work teams and meeting new people. But you won't want to be here for long. There are the occasional try-hards that will come into the league to feel good about themselves by hitting hard and running plays on a net that's lower than women's height. Another downside is that some of these players think they can play but in fact they are very dangerous and make it very unsafe. Landing under the net and causing ankle sprains when you block is very common here. So play smart, watch out for others. If you have some volleyball experience and understand the game, read here. This league is very poorly ran. You have one ref that does not understand the rules of volleyball. No calls are made, clear doubles where the ball is spiraling, crazy players who jump and land under the net, players touching the net and lifts. You call your own lines, so in and out calls are all on you and the other team. The ref literally is there to just blow the whistle for serve and then flip the score. They dont even have anyone setting up the nets for you as well, so you need to set it up yourself. The net is literally lower than womens height. So if you're here playing with some new friends who are learning to play, have some integrity to play to the level of others and be safe. I played in this league before it became Zog (Dynamic sports) id say it has changed but not for the better. Same stuff as it was 5-6 years ago. If you are looking for some better play there are other leagues out there. Campbell Community center used to have a good one they may or may not still be running. Then there's IVL if you're looking for competitive play. Zog by far is the most expensive league and the total amount of games you play in the season is less then all these other leagues I mentioned. So if you're factoring bang for your buck. Zog is definitely not that.

One of my favorite things is that they open at 5:00 AM, which makes it easy to get a workout in before work. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the entire facility is consistently clean. When I asked when it would finally be repaired, I received the same response I have been hearing for months: "Maybe in a week or two." I have been given this answer repeatedly for over four months, yet the steam room has never been fixed. The manager also told me that the club had already paid $20,000 to the company responsible for repairing the steam room. However, when I asked him when the company was scheduled to come and complete the repairs, he said he had no idea. Doesn't that sound absurd? If you paid a contractor $20,000, wouldn't you expect to know when they were going to show up and perform the work? It is difficult to believe that anyone would make such a significant payment without receiving a timeline or expected completion date. I asked him directly, "When you paid the repair company, didn't they tell you when they would be coming to fix the steam room?" His response was unconvincing, and his body language suggested that he was uncomfortable with the question. At that moment, I found it hard to believe the explanation I was being given. After hearing the same promises for more than four months with no progress and no clear answers, I am left questioning both the transparency and accountability of the management team. What was even more disappointing was the manager's attitude. In the middle of our conversation, without resolving my question, offering any explanation, or even apologizing for the inconvenience, he simply turned around and walked away, leaving me standing there. After this experience, I now understand why the employees at this location treat customers so poorly--their manager sets the same example. For anyone considering joining this gym, I strongly encourage you to think twice before making your decision.

IMO to compare with Citisport about cleanliness: CTS 9/10 - VLS 10/10, equipment: CTS 10/10 - VLS 8/10. Price 5x time difference. Imagine paying $175/month ($6/day) seem not too much for an individual to breakdown and think about, slowly more people will sign up mainly for working out purposes than other relaxing activities, the GYM sooner or later will be busy. I've visited Villasport and Citisport in both the same hours during different times of the day, and the crowds are not much different. But for the price it is. Paying $175 monthly and must wait for machines to break the workout momentum is pretty sad and upsetting, innit? Then 10pm its already closed... weekends are 2pm... Overall I'd personally think $75/month is fair. For $175/month, hours should be extended, and equipment should be more balanced. The way I see this fitness is built was to target older wealthy people 45+ years old. However, as I come here I see more of the younger ones than the older ones.
