At around 10pm a waitlist started to form, Tino came over to take our table away. We politely offered to just pay the regular hourly rate to keep it. He asked how many of us there were. When we said two, he visibly scoffed, acted like that wasn't enough, and told us we would have to pay the rate for four people if we wanted to keep the table. Then, he just took the table away from us anyway. Worse, when I was complaining to my teammates, he started yelling at me, complaining that we had the table for three hours, that his employee hadn't had lunch yet, and that we needed to give it up and get back on the waitlist. His entire attitude was aggressive, and he tried to make me feel like I was in the wrong for simply playing on a table we had legitimately secured. Later, when the league ended around 11pm, the double standard became painfully obvious. Tino came over specifically to shut down our league table, even though several other teams were still practicing on theirs. He completely ignored everyone else and specifically targeted us. I have been playing pool for nearly 20 years, currently shooting as an APA level 7, with a FargoRate of 568, and I know proper pool hall etiquette. I have never been kicked off a table, singled out, or spoken to this way by staff anywhere. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Final words to 946: if you don't want the league to interrupt your business, just don't host it. If you choose to host it, treat the players nicely, as we are customers too.

I still managed to knock a couple down. They also have a Juke box. I didn't pay much attention to it bc whoever was paying for songs got the mood right. This place has a little nostalgia to it. It feels welcoming and old school. My wife spoke with the owner. She was very polite and kicking ass behind the counter. I didn't try the food bc I had already eaten, but it looked pretty classic. Burger + fries etc. I'm not sure what else they offer. One thing I'd say they're missing is merch. If they would've had a tee or hat with their neon logo I would've bought it. Maybe link up with another San Jose brand for a collab. All in all I see myself going back and if it were a little closer to home I would even become a regular.

My brother and I got stuck playing the basketball shooting game for half the time, and my girl wanted to play foosball, so we ended up going for 10 rounds! So much fun. We grabbed some delicious Mexican food and ate in the middle area which has fake grass and plenty of seating. When we went back inside to catch the game, we played some pool. I have to shout out the equipment: the tables are brand new and clean, and the pool sticks are actually in great shape not damaged or warped like at most pool halls. They even have pickleball! Two courts!!! Huge thanks to the owner, Tri. He gave us a tour and was incredibly genuine and respectful. He mentioned he's getting a massive mural painted on the back wall and is bringing in 4 Mario Kart games soon (my favorite!). I'm really looking forward to seeing the artwork and the new changes. Through his great coaching he helped to get me so interested in the game that I now have a passion for pool like never before.
