I was hesitant at first since I'd seen how disinterested my daughter was during her daily zoom meetings with her TK class for the last few months of the school year. I was surprised to see how engaged and excited she was during her first week at camp. She was able to do the camp without me being by her side, which is something I worried from my past experience on her zoom meetings. She occasionally asked for help finding her materials which took a couple mins out of my time. She enjoyed it so much we decided to sign her up for the second week, Explore Hawaii. For this camp she did need help yesterday, building her volcano, and today, making the volcano explode. The teacher emailed us before hand to let us know they would need our help for about 15-20 mins with the time. It was fun to see her reaction during the explosion of the volcano. We all enjoyed it. I highly recommend Camp Captivate. The teachers are super engaging, lots of arts and crafts to keep them busy and the content is age appropriate. I am amazed that my 5 year old is able to do this virtual camp without me being at her side.

I was nervous having never even visited the place and only going off of another parents recommendation but the staff gave me direct communication as I continuously checked in (shout out to LuLu) and she provided me the comfort of knowing he's having fun and he told me he wasn't ready to come home until the last min of his day. He is excited to go again. He talked about the fun he had that days for several days after. I would def recommend trying it out even if it's just for one time. She is a great communicator and always kept us up to date on his progress in the program. Sula and her staff facilitated all of my son's homework and made sure they checked his work. They encouraged him to draw and build - to use his imagination. He really enjoyed his time with the students after school - a really diverse set of kids of all ages. Sula is lovely to work with and was accommodating when we needed a camp for our other child during summer break. I'd recommend this program.

It was an eye opening session for me to see Rudy feel at home with Piano and drums and his instinctive approach to music when Chris motivated him to join in to play the various instruments. For the whole session of half an hour Rudy was giggling, trying out every instrument given to him to try and participated wholly, but the drum set was what made the biggest impression on him. Chris could control his focus issues well and was able to bring him back to the music whenever he drifted away as he is certified in music therapy. The learning pods concept was new to our family but the staff did an excellent job caring for our child.
