Love the captains at South Bay! I can honestly say that everything I know about gulf fishing was taught to me by these guys. Capt Justin- has deep sea fishing down to a science. He has an incredible knowledge of the area and how to fish it. Honest, hardworking captain who aims to give each customer the fishing experience they're after. On one of our trips, he tracked down a huge group of cobia. We couldn't stop catching them...It was one my favorite experiences. Capt Rainey is seriously such a wonderful guy. He knows the backwater like the back of his hand. Not only will you have a great trip, but he will teach you as well; fishing, wildlife, and everything in between. He is definitely a fish whisperer. It is always a great trip with him. You'll have to book him in advance though, he's quite a popular guy. These guys will be honest with you- if the fishing doesn't look good, they will tell you. If the weather looks unfavorable, you will know. They don't want to take your money. They want you to have a great trip. Definitely recommend them! read more

This is my favorite place to go to for charters! My family and I have been seeing Capt. Rainey and Capt. Justin for over 8 years now! They've always made our experiences so much fun, and even helped my youngest Matt, who's 7 , catch some amazing fish! Whether it's a Backwater charter, which is my favorite with my young children, or the Deep Sea trips you're sure to have a ton of fun!
