Went out with a large group of friends on the boat! The staff was very friendly. Overall I had a great time with the people I was with however the boat trip is over priced for what you get. The boat is 75 per person and is supposed to include beach bbq and beer and wine, and of course the boat with jet skis and toys. The beach bbq sounds way classier than it actually was. It was just food pre cooked in foil pans on the boat. The food was a bit slim and not that great for again the price. There was no wine and the beer offered was bud light and Budweiser (who's drinking Budweiser?) the jet skis were cool but in order to ride you had to ride with someone. They didn't allow you to ride by yourself. I brought my own drink and food and thank goodness I did. This was something fun to do one time but not worth it to do it multiple times at that price. I went with my group of 31 on a friends day out. Although the evening started out super windy and chilly. Our 3 PM charter was awesome, The boat trip took us down the intercoastal to view some of the amazing homes that were waterfront. And we did a little stent around the dark where most of the boats were docked. We then made our way over to the small cay where we spent the rest of our excursion laying out, getting as much sunlight and warmth that we could. We played music via our cellphones and took turns being the DJ of the moment. We also hang out with a bunch of cool JetSki-ers that were on the island as well. It was such an awesome vibe. We ran into several issues upon arrival that made us regret booking this daytime activity: - FALSE ADVERTISING: amenities were not included as advertised. Paddle boards, a water trampoline, and a bathroom were all advertised on the flyer but not included as part of excursion. I had a lot of fun with south beach party boats, but I would definitely say it's overpriced. If you are okay with paying $70 purely to get drunk with a lively group of ppl, then do it, you'll have fun! But other than that, you're money is basically going towards nothing. Food and drink selection is slim (Take your own), you're barely on the boat (they barely even have to use gas), and the "sandbar" they take you to is really a little, kind of gross shrubby area just a little bit away from the starting point. Here are the highlights: 1) Bachelorette party with 12 girls looking to have fun 2) Bobby (apparently management or captain) showed up 1 hour late, then gave our group the run around saying the boat was "right around the corner". we wasted half our afternoon traveling and waiting for the boat that never showed 3) took ubers for 12 girls from ft Lauderdale back and forth just for this boat trip (very expensive) 4) Bobby said he would refund us for a) the deposit and b) our ubers back and forth. Honestly, if this came to fruition I would not be writing this review because they would have made it right. It's been a month now. Bobby is not returning calls, ignoring our emails, and has not refunded the money. we have ample amounts of emails back and forth with him on this. My friends and I had a really fun time for $50 each :) They provided Budweiser, bud light and franzia, and a thanksgiving dinner (lol we went on black friday there was legit a whole turkey). You were allowed to bring your own booze - Some people brought their own grey goose and some brought baccardi and malibu. There were three other groups with us, for a total of around 16 people. They drove us to an island and we chilled/swam/drank there and they set out a water trampoline and a tanning mat! It was a really great time and by the end of it everyone was at a good place and making friends lol They dont have music but you can always plug in your phone! They also had zero regulations so if you are looking to get drunk on a beach and boat this is definitely for you! Myself and 3 of my friends were in Miami and had pre-booked the Sailing Yacht Party for Saturday at 2:30 pm. I get a call (at 10 pm by the way) the Thursday night before asking if we could change to the 10:30 am trip instead....the guy (Bobby) said he would throw in a free party bus so we agreed, not a big deal. I call Bobby on Friday night to confirm the time he'll be at the hotel, he says around 9:45. I call him again Saturday morning and he says he'll actually be there around 10:15 and that he'd call us 5 min before he got there. It's 10:15...then 10:30....then 10:45 and no party bus. We call and the girl who answers says that boat left. WHAT??? Soo they forgot about us?? I demand a reimbursement and a free trip to make up for it. I can tell it's not her fault and she's very nice and says she will have to have Management call me back and that she is very sorry. Never got a call from Management, never got a reimbursement. My friend and I booked this party boat last minute and I am so glad that we did! This particular tour lasted 3 hours and included water, wine, beer and chips. You could have brought food and other alcohol as long as it was not in a glass bottle. The boat leaves the dock and docks at a sand bar about 20 minutes away. When here, there is a paddle board, kayak and some noodles if you want to play in the water. If you want to drink you must wait until after you play. There is a big speaker on boat and anyone is allowed to connect their phone and play what they want to play. The staff was really great and let everyone have fun, but also followed all safety procedures. There was a photographer on board that also took pictures and then made the photos available free of charge. I paid $75 and yes, it is a little pricey but a fun way to spend a few hours out on the water. read more

This should really be called #FyreFestival2. The food (photos attached) were slabs of deli meat, white bread, and processed cheese (all in piles and melting in the sun) after multiple texts and emails being told to show up 30 minutes early (which our group did); 10:30 am for an 11am departure - the bot did not depart until 11:40, therefore we sat in the blistering sun for nearly 1 hour as our boat never showed up. Furthermore, we booked a watersport tour but due to an over booking we had to be rebooked on a more expensive tour (which we were forced to pay upon arrival in cash) when we complained the owner, Bobby, a real gem, said "I could've just completely cancelled you guys instead of rebooking) - that's where our real complaint is, with the owner, Bobby. He verbally screamed at multiple people in our group when we called just to ask what was going on (as we never received confirmation emails indicating we had been rebooked, which he told us we received) when we called he yelled that he didn't have time to send them and it was our responsibility to inform the other patrons. He was absolutely awful and had we own, we would've chosen to give our money to one of other boat excursions in Miami! If I am being completely honest, this was a complete waste of time and money. We were promised so much more than we were given. The boat left the marina an hour late which cut our trip down to 2 hours. The first boat we were on wouldn't start so they had us sitting on the boat in the burning hot sun for an hour before switching boats. We were told "well it usually takes us 2 hours to set up a boat but we just set up the new one for you in 20 minutes." Should we be happy about this? wasting a full hour of our boat cruise. We were only at the island with the "water sports/toys" for about 30-40 minutes before being rushed back to the marina. The "water sports/toys" were merely a few noodles and one pathetic mat. We were not allowed to take out the kayaks because they were short on time and there were no SUP, as if we were going to be able to use them anyways. We weren't provided a BBQ lunch and the snacks(!), some left out cheese and crackers with some hummus. We didn't have a DJ on board. We were told to hook our phones up to the speaker and play our own music. The other group played music the entire time. Super disappointed in the entire event. I have written an email privately but have been ignored, to the public platform it is. Bachelor/ Bachelorettes step right up! I highly recommend this boat for groups looking to party. Pros: beautiful ride on the water to see some of the city, island was a blast, lots of water toys, few regulations (they really let you party and go wild) Cons: music isn't provided (someone has to plug in their phone), boxed wine and limited beer selection, "BBQ" is burgers and hotdogs cooked on a small gas grill pan. Omg where do I begin? First, the boat got a super late start. They should have just cancelled it. Then, a bachelorette party got turned away because they had someone with a wheelchair in their party and they were lied to. Someone told them that the boat was accessible by wheelchair. I felt so bad for that party. They planned their entire day around this, just to be turned around because there was no ramp and the dock was too low to get her on the boat. Next, we were finally let onto the boat after waiting for nearly 2 hours. The captain was mad creepy, the food was hot/sweaty cheese and crackers. There were carrots next to a bowl of ranch. Cheap beer and wine. There were no water toys...just a floating water mat that only several people can sit on. The "private beach/island" was this trash-filled, wooded area with a small shore and some raccoons that we spotted from the boat. No one was swimming over there. Definitely didn't even want to get in the water. Maybe I should have been in the water to avoid the SAND FLY INFESTATION on the boat/catamaran. Everyone was eaten alive and you can't even see them biting you because they are so tiny. You can't avoid them because you're trapped on the boat with a swimsuit. Bring bug spray if you still decide that this is the activity for you. My party and I ended up with so many big bites. I suffered from over 100 sand fly bites all over my legs, thighs, and butt. The bumps itched for well over a week until my doctor put me on a steroid pack. Now I face scarring from the bites. This catamaran was not worth it at all. I didn't have fun, I was tortured by sand flies, I wasted my time and money. Avoid at all costs. If you can't avoid it, ask them to spray down their boats and take you to the real sand bar that they pass on the way back to the dock. read more

I rented the sailing yacht for a private charter for my birthday and I honestly had a blast. The crew aboard the Mariah was awesome and super nice and helpful. We left late but that was because two of my guests were running behind but they were super understanding. And parking was free! The entire experience was really great. They provided two large trays of Publix chicken tenders and beer, wine, soda, water, etc. I ended up bringing a ton of extra food, liquor and mixers for my guests so it all worked out really well. For $80 per person it's a solid deal-- 4hr boat ride, food and drinks. The boat held 40 guests comfortably. We sailed and docked near a sandbar where we were able to kayak and swim. My only suggestion would be better customer service/communication during the booking process with Bobby & his team. They weren't terrible but not the best service. Late responses, always having to follow up with them, no one was really "pleasant" when speaking over the phone. But overall solid 4/5. Would definitely do it again! read more

There for my bachelorette trip and basically the extent of the fun was being on the water with my girls.They let us on the boat 30 min later than scheduled, then we waited for about another 45 minutes because half the crew was "stuck in traffic". We were told there would be snacks but when we were asked were just ignored. The DJ was terrible and played slow sad songs (ie Mary J Blige- Mr. Wrong) despite there being 3 bachelorette groups then complained that no one was dancing. I explained that I am trying to get a rough estimate for a bachelorette early next year. The person texts back "call after new year." I asked if I could get an estimate of what it costs this year. I only gave 2 stars because this trip didn't start off well. We paid for round trip transportation for South Beach Party Boats to provide hotel pickup for our party of 26. There was no communication from anyone confirming time we could expect transportation to arrive. When I called to find out what time we should expect pick up, the representative that answered said I would be receiving a text. But I did not receive anything. I called again, and guy that answered said, we would be picked up between 2:15-2:30 for our 3:00pm boat departure. I shouldn't have had to call to get this information. The driver then arrived, in a dilapidated bus, that approximately accommodated 16 safely. He then said a Uber would come and can take 6 people but everyone else had to fit on bus. Mind you, we had a party of 26. I had to sit in a lawn chair that was on bus. The driver himself seem as if he was either high or intoxicated. He was not the most friendliest or talkative. He would not answer questions in a serious manner. We asked how long it would take to get to our destination? He said, he didn't know. The reason for asking was to see how long we had to ride in such a unsafe manner. Whenever we asked him a question he would give an off the wall answer (i.e. like he was taking us to the Everglades). We were not sure if he was serious or trying to make jokes. He even pulled into a church and said y'all can get out here. If this was all apart of the Non-Humor, I would suggest he work on his delivery. Once we got to the location of the Pier, he very slurry, told us how to get to Pier. We had to cross a very busy highway to get to other side. After such a bad ride to the location everyone mood for fun had disappeared. But after meeting boat staff we decided to just make the best of it. Boat and beach had great atmosphere, staff on board was extremely kind and willing to help in any way! The food preparation area wasn't the cleanest. The dip was taken out of cooler uncovered and open in bowl. Look like it was left over from last cruise. The chips were crumbled and mixed up together. We found one soda amongst two coolers of beer. There was no bottled water, and it wasn't indicated that was something we should bring. But we made the best of the situation and made a good time. When we arrived back to the Pier, getting off the boat was a challenge because of low tides. The driver that dropped us off was back to pick us up on the same dilapidated bus. This time there was no Uber. So all 26 had to get on bus, with half standing and others sitting doubled up on laps. Had there been a accident, it would have been very little chance for anyone to walk away not injured. If ever back in Miami, we probably wouldn't use South Beach Party Boat again. And if by chance we did, we definitely would get our own transportation to and from Pier. read more

Took this trip for my Bachelorette weekend in Miami - we had a riot. The trip was great, the crew was awesome, and the little island that you hang out on was perfect. This does advertise a "BBQ" portion, which was really just the captain cooking hot dogs on a little portable stove at the back of the boat. When you're drunk, though, it's perfect. Beer (and wine I think) are provided on the boat, but you're allowed to BYOB too! Great trip for getting to know other bachelor/bachelorette groups basically. read more

I was wholly unimpressed with our party boat experience. We were scheduled to board around 2pm, but didn't actually get onto the boat until 30 min later. We then had to wait an additional 30 minutes or so, because some of the crew was stuck in traffic. Once we left the dock though, it was apparent they were not prepared for their guests at all. Upon reserving/booking we were told their would be beer, liquor, and snack foods, but the only snacks provided were several bags of Cheetos located in an already open box. The bridal party I was with luckily ate prior to the cruise, and brought our own champagne so we weren't left out to dry. Also the DJ was horrible....he didn't play any upbeat songs, and even after putting in a song request we didn't hear it until the boat was pulling into port. On 10/13, we went on the Sailing Yacht Party for my 30th birthday and we had such an amazing time. Everything turned out perfect. We were given written instructions on where to go at the dock which were sent to us via email. We received text messages the day before and the day of the party confirming time of arrival and where to park. Once we got there we were greeted by staff who were extremely friendly and accomodating. The way we were treated, was completely beyond my expectations. Our host was CHRIS, and he was AMAZING. Benny was our bartender who was fantastic and made sure our cups were filled. DJ Precisa made sure the music was on point. Overall we had a wonderful time. So much fun and amazing views for picture taking. This boat trip was DEFINITELY the highlight of my spring break trip. Bobby the owner so nice and very helpful when booking the trip. We were a little late showing up to the boat and he stayed in constant communication with us to make sure we knew where the boat was and didn't get left. I'd avoid this company at all costs - the experience was so bad that I was motivated to make a TripAdvisor and Yelp account and write this review so that maybe even one person doesn't make the same mistake of booking South Beach Party Boats (SBPB). So let's begin: We booked the trip about 1.5 months in advance and I spoke to Bobby (the owner of the company) and he assured me that since we're all traveling together that 35 people on one boat is fine. The communication between the company and myself was great in the beginning only because they wanted my $150 down deposit for the reservation. After I had paid, SBPB seemed like they never wanted to pick up their phone and I'd get sent straight to voicemail which told you to "text their phone number." Anyways, the email reservation they sent included a non-functioning link for deposits which meant nobody could pay for their ticket and I tried calling SBPB throughout the week to fix this but couldn't get anyone on the line. After sending two texts about this, I finally got a response a week later saying that they will "create a new link for me" and that I shouldn't worry about it. After this, I tried not stressing about the deposit link and assumed if I didn't hear back from SBPB that we all would simply pay at the dock. A month and a half went by and about 48 hours before the trip I wanted to call and confirm all the details one more time. After calling and texting, I was able to get ahold of someone who starts telling me that 35 people is way too many for one boat. I asked to be put on with the owner and I received a call back 6 hours later and Bobby (the owner) said he knows he promised that we could do 35 but I need to either drop five people, find at least five more people so we could fill two boats, or pay $10 more per person. On top of this he also added that there would be no more online processing of payment so I was now on the hook to collect over $3,000 from 35+ college students just two days before the trip. Luckily, we were a huge group so we were able to get our number up to 44 and avoid additional charges. The day of the cruise arrives and I get a call from the owner while we're on the dock saying he's about to run my credit card for about $3,300 for 44 people. I inform him that we're now 42 people as two girls most likely weren't going to be able to make it due to a flight delay. He responded by telling me that he's still going to run the card for 44 people and that if they don't show-up that he'll refund the $159 for the two girls. Long story short - I've called and texted twice now about this refund and unsurprisingly have been ghosted so now I have to call my card company and authorize a charge back. Phew, that was a lot! I haven't even gotten to the experience itself yet. If you go through other 1-2 star reviews on here, you'll see everything that was wrong with the day and that their website is full of false advertising. It's really not a booze cruise, it would be better named "A ten minute boat ride to a sand bar that 5+ other boats are docked at." I'm not kidding, we were maybe on the boat for 10 minutes before we docked for 2.5 hours. The reservation email you receive details a 30 minute ride "past Key Biscayne and Downtown Miami, Miami River, Bayside, Cruise Port, and American Airlines Arena." On top of that, they only provide kids size bags of Doritos and other Lays chips instead of the promised "great BBQ with cheese or veggie burgers, sausages, and chips with dip and salsa." Likewise, our group (of 40+ people!!) only got two floating mats and a small single person water trampoline rather than the promised "stand up paddleboards, water noodles, and water trampolines." read more

First, they charged us double than anyone else on the boat because we didn't go though a promoter. Second, there was a big party that pretty much owned the boat and decided when to leave, come back and the music that was being played without any regards about other ppl that also payed to be there. Third, we left 30 minutes late and came back 30 minutes early and the alcohol was cut off 30 minutes before that so the open bar was only for about 1 and a half hours instead of 3.
