The folks who did the work suggested foam backer rod to fill and then a self-leveling sealant. I am 75+ and I don't have these things on hand nor can I operate a caulking gun. Marty called back within an hour and after discussing my issue gave me a reasonable and doable fix, which was to fill the gap with silica or builder's sand and I can use my house broom to level out, etc. He is coming next Spring to look at the drive to see what we might do with that! My back yard is on the edge of a conservancy and always mostly in shade and the ground stays soft so when a previous service had used a standing mower it left deep ruts in the yard that had to be filled. I told David this and asked not to use the standing mower but his guys used the standing mower anyway. The front of the house really cannot be done with the standing mower.
