About 4-5 months ago, I bought a pre owned 2022 Isuzu NRR diesel, from Rush Peterbilt in Fontana for my business. I am based out of lake Elsinore/south Corona area. Location wise for me, Freeway Isuzu is the closer option, rather than driving to Fontana for parts. I gave this place benefit of the doubt and still called anyways last week, they definitely didn't disappoint. He was rude from the beginning with a bad tone in his voice and due to not having my VIN on hand, I was given bad customer service and told he can't help me. I was only looking for maintenance filters, assuming they have many in stock and VIN shouldn't be an issue but according to him it was. I asked to speak to a manager, and he said he was. As a business owner myself, I would be ashamed to have him in charge of a whole department. Never met the guy in person but that's a bad look. I will never do business with this place and never recommend anyone to get parts from here, as long as he's in charge or employed here. I instead drove the 30 minutes farther to Rush in Fontana and received my parts with 100% better customer service and will continue to give them my business. I hope the owner and/or management will do something with this and better that place. It's a shame, how one person can change the face of a business. I'm sorry but this had to be said. But with each maintenance job, they will tell you your forklifts had issues like this and that, and scare you by exagerating how bad your equipment will be if you don't do it. The worst part is, they will never give you a good estimate of how much it actually costs upfront. There was one time they said our height sensor is not the original part and may cause troubles, despite that it's been working well for the last 5 years since we purchased it. When they took the sensor off and "examined" it, they told us that the replacement part won't be available until 3 months later. And they refused to return the sensor because they "believe" it's unsafe! In other words, our machine has been working fine for the last 5 years but now they "created" a problem and refused to fix it. In addition, they billed us $1165 just for taking the sensor off and "examining" it. I ended up having a non-operational forklift and a $1165 bill after they leave. After letting them go, I came across two other business owners and both had similar experiences with them. Very dirty business tricks! Stay way from them! Remember these are used vehicle sellers. All they want is your money and they do not worry about repeat business. Get your mileage in writing. They will not put it on your documents. Ask for a BIT inspection before purchase or the last BIT report the vehicle had. Ask for the life on the brakes and if you are purchasing a manual transmission the clutch like. If they say they cannot know they are not telling the truth. It can be measured and seen on the semi truck. If the truck is from the east coast or anywhere with lots of snow look for rust. If you have an experience driver test the truck make sure he runs it through it pace cause 100 miles or 1000 miles it will breakdown or need service. Also do not let the dealership work on it. Rip off city. All they need to do is just mention one thing and boom thousands in repairs. It use to be 300k in miles was nothing but the way they service or build it you need to check it out every 10k. Anything with wear and tear check it out. The seal had been torn by whatever unqualified shop did the glass replacement. I further noticed that someone had attempted to break into the truck by prying a crowbar between the door handle and frame and deduced that after unsuccessfully attempting that they must have shattered the windshield to get in. I went back and combed through the photos they posted in the ad and the door damage was not there. I informed them that it should have been disclosed and than I wanted a new windshield installed with an intact seal and the body work done to the door. They agreed via email so I went and got repair quotes and submitted them, but then never followed through despite many months of nagging, emails and messages, finally just refusing to respond in any way.
