Every time I've been to the satellite office I'm always greeted with a smile and a friendly attitude. The employees are not only very pleasant but very knowledgeable about the enrollment process and any forms that you might need to fill out and submit. There are small tables for currently enrolled students and prospective students to use in the lobby. There are computers to use to sign up for classes in the lobby and in the student services department. The lines for assistance are usually shorter at the satellite office that they are the main campus. I like that... It's a quick in and out process. If you're looking to further your education... Cabrillo college is a good community college choice and a good place to begin. I highly recommend that you use the Watsonville satellite office for enrollment if you live in that area!

They have lots of time slots during the day which is a plus but it is on the pricey side for cpr without a live instructor. I would not recommend learning CPR using a VAM for your first time ever. It's really ideal for repeat and renewals as you already know what's going on and what to do in real life situations but that is just my two cents on that topic. The place is clean and they have lots of supplies to clean your VAM before and after use. Parking is easy, instructions were clear and the course was sent in a timely manner each time.

And I'm confident when I say, I don't feel my learning experience would have been half as good or all-encompassing with any other training company. The depth of skill Neri has as a doula is evident in all of her classes. She's passionate, knowledgeable, strong, and dedicated, to each students success in their new career. I felt supported and confident after each interaction. In this training, there's a sense of community, love, and openness to ask any questions you may have, in a very open-minded atmosphere. I was provided with hands-on training every class. I learned so much more about pregnancy (as I haven't been blessed with children yet) and women in general, through this class. The guest speakers for alternative thinking and healing was an extra bonus, but just part of her amazing program. The list of positives continues. I feel I could go on forever! I'm forever grateful to have been a part of this program. And I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to be a part of "healthy births on earth".

I enjoyed the good balance between the theoretical part and the practical sections. Neri delivers the right amount of information and all the examples she brings up kept me very interested. Also, I felt like I was studying with a friend thanks to her warm voice, her encouragements, and the added tips and tricks that she shares from her extensive experience. Now that I have started my birth coach practice, I came to realize how precious the coaching tools are. As a birth coach/doula, I often rely on them to get to know my clients better or to navigate through sensitive situations, whether it is during the prenatal sessions or during a birth. Beyond what is offered in the program, Neri's knowledge, kindness and availability made it so worth it. As I progressed through the program, I realized that this experience was so much more than just taking a class, to me it was a real-life transformative journey.

I took one of Skip's CPR and First Aid classes today. He is an excellent instructor and makes the…read moreclass really interesting! He did a lot of demonstration and then we had a chance to work on the mannequins. I came away from the class feeling like I have what it takes to perform CPR on a person in distress. He also taught us a lot about First Aid. So all in all, I now feel very equipped with skills in CPR and First Aid. He is an excellent person to take the course from because he is a former captain in the fire department. It can't get much better than this! He is someone who has performed CPR on many, many people over the years, and responded to a lot of 911 emergencies. You can't go wrong with taking a course from a professional like him! I'm very happy with his teaching ability and would highly recommend him!

Skip's course was hands down the best course I've ever taken. It was fun, informative, and…read morememorable. Every time I've taken CPR courses in the past, I always left feeling confused. I could never piece together all the information well enough to make sense of what I do had to in the moment. Skip was able to condense the information into a learnable and retainable format that works for even the average person. He also adds additional education to the course so that you come away understanding how people respond to stress and tips on how to stay calm so that both you and your patient are safe and healthy. I will not be taking another CPR course again unless Skip is teaching it!
