He did a lot of demonstration and then we had a chance to work on the mannequins. I came away from the class feeling like I have what it takes to perform CPR on a person in distress. He also taught us a lot about First Aid. So all in all, I now feel very equipped with skills in CPR and First Aid. He is an excellent person to take the course from because he is a former captain in the fire department. It can't get much better than this! He is someone who has performed CPR on many, many people over the years, and responded to a lot of 911 emergencies. You can't go wrong with taking a course from a professional like him! I'm very happy with his teaching ability and would highly recommend him!

I could never piece together all the information well enough to make sense of what I do had to in the moment. Skip was able to condense the information into a learnable and retainable format that works for even the average person. He also adds additional education to the course so that you come away understanding how people respond to stress and tips on how to stay calm so that both you and your patient are safe and healthy. I will not be taking another CPR course again unless Skip is teaching it!
