    If I had to, would give them a zero star rating. Our nursery…read moreordered some evergreen liners from this grower. The truck shows up and we were missing many of the plants on our order. When we called to talk to them about the missing plants we were actually blamed for stealing another order on that same truckload. The woman was wildly acusitory and so wildly unprofessional I was stunned. I actually found out who else was on the truck with us and called all of the other nurseries and found the plants mistakely taken off at the stop before ours. Liner Source argued and still accused the problem was at our nursery. One of the most unprofessional growers I have ever dealt with in my entire career. I'll pass!

Signed a contract in June 2022 with Florida Greenscape to complete a driveway and walkway paver job. After months of waiting for 2piece Appian Stone pavers to be ready, I was notified by Chris Reed that job would began on October 14, 2022. As demolition started there were red flags that he was ill equipped to demo my existing 6 to 10 ft. concrete driveway with a mini bobcat. After 9 days of demolition my driveway was unlivable and there was still concrete remaining. I had to contract 2 outside companies to finish the demolition. Now with the driveway demolition complete, by an outside contractor, I am unable to get the 7 pallets of Appian stone pavers that I paid for in June totalling $3675. Guess what, I just completed my MBA and have lots of time to write reviews and file a lawsuit so this will not happen to others.

My parents took great care to follow the directions to water on a certain schedule. The owner said he wanted to mow the lawn the first time to ensure it was cut properly and wouldn't damage the grass. He ended up butchering the grass which he noticed immediately. He said it would come back with watering but the grass died and what was left in its place looks worse than the original. After being asked to make good on his mistake, he replied by saying he did his job by laying down the sod. I'm so dismayed that for a costly job, he took advantage of people that were too fair, too nice and too old to press the matter any further. If it were me, I would have reported him to the BBB and taken him to small claims court. This guy is a crook. Give your business to someone that will stand behind their service and their product!

    I made the mistake of purchasing a Stihl MS 171 chainsaw from this Ace Hardware store - clearly a…read moremajor mistake as it is a disappointing and frustrating piece of garbage. I strongly recommend against buying one. Moreover, I will never go to this dealer - Carter Ace Hardware in Eustis, FL - again. They have lost a customer and I advise others to not shop there as well. When the dealer tried to demo the chainsaw for me after I'd purchased it, it would not start and kept stalling out. The dealer said their Stihl tech would be in a couple of days later and they were sure it probably just needed a minor adjustment. The dealer called Tuesday afternoon telling me the carburetor merely needed to be adjusted, it was now working great and I could come to pick it up. When I went to the Carter Ace Hardware store to pick up the chainsaw, two of their employees tried to demonstrate how to use the saw. They, again, had significant difficulties trying to start it and keep it running. I should have cancelled my purchase then and there and asked for a refund. Major mistake on my part that I didn't. UGH. After considerable effort, they finally managed to get it running. Being a trusting individual, I made the mistake of believing their employees telling me if I had any issues I could return it. Although concerned, I very reluctantly took it home. Please note - between the time I first committed to purchase the saw and when I went in to pick it up, I watched Stihl chainsaw videos online and downloaded and read the entire Owner's Manual for the saw. Twice in the past three days since purchasing the saw I've tried to use it. Each time the saw was difficult to start and keep running. If I paused using the saw and turned it off - it was difficult to restart and took considerable effort and patience to restart to continue using it. This morning I took the saw back to Carter's Ace Hardware to return it. They were not receptive. One of the same employees who had struggled to demo the saw took it outside and, of course, it started right up and seemed to work fine. Must be operator error on my part. The bottom line - I own a chainsaw that I strongly believe is an absolute piece of garbage and DO NOT want. You will probably see it for sale on FB Marketplace or eBay because I'll definitely be buying a competitor's product. Any recommendations???

    I called Lowe's for a box of Trex (colored) screws.These are for composite decking. You have to go…read morethrough their AI robotic agent before you can speak to an agent. When I told the AI agent what I wanted, they told me that the screws were in a specific aisle, and the price was lower than quoted on Lowe's website. I went to the store, the man at the pro shop looked them up. He told me that they were out of stock! So he then ordered them for me, from the vendor....Then I asked him if they had any Cedar boards in stock, in 8 feet long... 1x6" and 1x8". He told me the 1" x 6" x 8' Boards were out of stock, but the 1" x 8" x 8' were in stock....He told me that they were in Aisle 51. I went to Aisle 51, they had loads of Cedar boards, in multiple sizes....I picked out the 1" x 8" x 8', then I picked out the 1" x 6" x 8' ones. Yes, they had a bunch of sizes available. Their AI agent sucks...bad information on the screws. Also their Computer System sucks...It doesn't tell the people who are trying to assist customers accurate information.

    This store has the worst customer service. Purchased a washer dryer and was told it was in stock…read moreset a delivery date. Text the night before said it would be delivered 1030-130. The morning of the delivery I got another text saying it was out for delivery. 1 pm I called and they said that they didn't have the dryer. After letting them know how I felt about that I received a text that night saying it would be delivered the next day. A text again the morning of the delivery said it would be delivered between 1:30-4:30. I called at 130 and again they said they said it wasn't being delivered as this time they didn't have the washer. I went to the store and spoke with the assistant manager who said if o go back to the appliance section an associate would help me select a different model and he would come back and make sure I got what I was looking for. I was never approached by anyone and the assistant manager never showed up. I had the service desk call him. He shows up I told him I never had any assistance. I canceled my order with them and his attitude was just ok I'll cancel the order. There is just no accountability.
