We are part of a life group so we always have friends to sit with at functions (nice when you're new), and have been growing by leaps and bounds. Our kids are plugging into serving in different ministries like kids ministry and tech team. I work in the bookstore. There is a discipleship ministry and an evangelism ministry. Discussing the connection between being a person of God and how that plays out in everyday life in today's world is very important to myself and my wife, and Foothills does this very well. And lastly, the child care is super awesome. The kids always seem to be having a wonderful time. They get some positive messages about God and Faith, while also getting to play, paint, etc. When we moved to Boise 6 months ago we had just left a church in California that we enjoyed very much for many years, and we were hoping to find another church that was a good fit for us... and Foothills Church has been a great fit. It's a welcoming, casual, God centered place for our family to get centered and connected with God. PS: The coffee shop has some great lattes.

The leadership of this church has serious issues. The senior pastor, Doug, appears completely full…read moreof himself and not Jesus. Doesn't even pray! The production guy acts like the spiritual leader. What credentials does this guy even have? At least he prays more than the pastor though. The elders are completely out of touch with the congregation and appear to be gaslighting a serious problem within the church. Pretty certain key staff members have left, volunteers also, in just the last month. When an entire church is dismantled in a month, there's going to be questions! The elders would rather turn people away to other churches than answer questions. Clearly they are missing the objective. Paul would be writing a letter, stat!
