Everyone has bad days. Part of this fallen world. My contact for information was met with rudeness. I have attended Eagle Christian Church in the past and was trying to get information. Because I didn't follow the advice of the person I talked to, they pretty much hung up on me. I don't know what they are afraid of. Why they want to have such control. It is such a big church and they stream every message from the main church to their sub-churches. I believe attendees to their sub-churches would be more blessed if ECC trained elders to preach the word live at their sub-churches. I believe this would not resonate to the public such concern for control. It reminds me of another big popular denomination that controls their sub-churches. read more

We have been searching for a new church and it is never easy to please two people at once. This is an open and welcoming place where the music is not too loud but beautiful and relevant. Today my partner stated that it was so nice to just enjoy the music so much that you didn't even notice it whereas before it would be so loud it was always a topic of our conversation where we went to church before. This is a busy and active Church- we have felt very welcome here and are looking forward to making it our new home. read more

I love my church! We searched and tried many churches before ECC. Never have I felt so welcome. God is good.

I attend this church with my family on occasion. I am not a Christian, but it's interesting that Christians like to profess their compassion to any and all humans Christian or not, but I feel this church cultivates a very Us vs them narrative. I also attend a Buddhist temple on occasion. It's striking the differences in messages given through sermons. I don't believe most that attend are 'true' Christians by any extent. I believe that their faith has been dictated by a political agenda that isolates and excludes many. I don't like to air dirty laundry on a review but if you have questions. Amazing church. We started going to this church when we moved here. Our kids grew up in this church and loved it. The Pastors are all incredible godly people whose hearts desire is to spread the Word of God to the Treasure Valley. The Word is preached straight from the Bible every single week. Had been going to Eagle Christian Church for over 5 years. I thought for the longest time they were a good church. Then I ran into an issue where I needed some help from them. Keep in mind I had been tithing 10% of my income like God asks of us which is quite a bit of money over that period of time attending the church. Anyhow, I have a rough last couple of months and asked the Church for a bit of help to handle a rough patch. Well guess what I have never ever been treated so rude and poorly in my life. I made several calls to the church in an hour of need trying just talk to someone and nobody returned calls. Every time I called the receptionist was rude and un-accommodating. Then finally I get a call from Mike Whitford, supposedly the Campus Pastor and he was extremely rude and basically told me neither he or the church was going to do anything to help me or even listen to anything I had to say. I tried politely to explain and he just told me too bad, he nor anyone else there cared and hung up on me. Then several hours later my family starts getting calls from him asking if they are ok and safe. I started to wonder what the heck is this guy doing to me. I ask for help and Mike and whoever else starts trying to set me up for some type of trouble. Which I cannot understand for the life of me. What in the world did I do to these guys? I have been a Christian for 42 years. I try to live my life as God would want me too. I am not perfect, I do make mistakes but certainly did nothing to deserve this kind of treatment coming from a place and people I thought I could trust. What on earth kind of Church and people is this place? You ask for help and they try to create trouble for you? Vindictive and Evil isn't a harsh enough word to describe this Church and the people there in charge. These people are the reason Christian's get a bad name. This is a perfect example of this. This place is as fake as the CNN news. Don't be blinded by their pretty campus and nice buildings, who knows what other suckers out there have been fooled by these people. I am through with this place and my advice like the others that have left one star reviews is to stay away from this Church. It will only be a matter of time before you get targeted by them if you do not belong to their special clique inside group. They are not there for you when you really need them and could careless about you and don't reciprocate at all, instead they take from you and anyone they can and then cause you grief if you ask them to help you. Then they interfere with your family and personal relationships. Absolutely unfounded treatment definitely not Christians at all. Stay away from them at all costs, as others have suggested.
