But I can at least guarantee that the mall is always lively and there's plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants around and across the street too. What I like best about this mall is their effort to foster community here, such as the Dia de los Muertos display or when I happened to walk pass a Bluey Xmas dance party and you can take pictures with Santa AND Bluey. Super cute. One time years and years ago, they had a scavenger hunt for Christmas where you search around the mall to take photos with your phone for an ornament. I really liked that I did that and got to spend time with my family. I've seen so many shops come and go here and pieces of my childhood through adolescence such as the Disney Store (I remember spending time here looking through that giant plushie pile), the merry go round, Surf City Squeeze (always thought their mascot looked cool, now replaced with a Pop Mart vending machine), Nothing But Silver (went here lots with my mom and aunts), Sanrio Surprise, Amapola Deli and Market (crazy they tried to open a market in here), the hermit crab vendor, McDonald's that my mom would always get my brother and I and the vendors that would try to sell stickers at our table, the dollar store on the upper floor above Baskin Robbins, the used bookstore and so much more. Huge chunk of nostalgic memories for me, but today it's decent mall with most things that you would need. Some shops I go to often to get gifts or pick up something for myself, See's (thanks for closing PH location), Hot Topic, Bath and Body Works, Miniso, etc. At least the Tilt arcade here is still open. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but if you're already here, might as well enjoy malls before more of them perish.

There's PLENTY of parking since it's such a huge plaza, but it can get quite busy with all of the cars going in and out. The main intersection you enter in and out can get REALLY ugly with cars not following right of way, the lanes to turn left backing up into the intersection, etc., so if I can avoid it and just exit near the UPS Store I would. I feel like at a certain point they really should put traffic lights there, but on dead times it's not so bad honestly. As for other things, sometimes there's vagrants wandering around (camping behind the Salvation Army), one time a guy was peeing outside of his car, the letters are always being stolen from the Heights sign, and there used to be car meets here before they were shut down. The curve is actually a separate area located at the doorstep of Eastland center. Four eateries in an actual curve configuration starting with Islands restaurant, Chipotle, Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Jollibee. From the main entrance on N Barranca St intersection make a right, right, right and you're there. Plenty of parking with some tree shaded spots. Jollibee has a convenient drive thru or designated pick up parking spaces for online orders. Among a concentrated shopping center this curve is an oasis for some reasonably priced refreshment and nourishment.

The mall gives an eerie, abandoned feeling as most stores are closed and certain areas are permanently closed off. I still like to go to Round One for the crane machine games and to watch a movie every now and then. i love this mall but unfortunately the property owners have allowed it to squander as they'd prefer…read moreto redevelop the plot into industrial use. the current idea is a data center and energy storage. there are about 8 businesses still open in the mall, including haidilao hot pot, army career center, navy career center, a hair salon, a muscle massage spa, a local shoe retailer, a beauty school, and a local clothing retailer. currently, round1 arcade and bowling and amc movie theaters are the last remaining anchor tenants. previous anchors ross and burlington closed within the last year, leaving an empty wing of the mall in front of the mall management office. all the informational maps in the mall were last updated in 2019, which is when i would assume this mall started really started to topple. it is fantastic to walk the corridors, those that are still accessible, as there are a few wings of the mall that have now been blocked off due to high vacancies. i have loved coming by this mall, i always treated it as a discount mall compared to others in the area as many of the national retailers would have lower prices to encourage more customers. when champs had an outpost in the mall, everything was constantly 40% off! the property is quite barren and is likely to close soon, so if you have been wanting to visit the twin pines mall, get over here and stretch your legs!

This is such a big and beautiful mall. Inside the mall looks so luxurious and spacious. They have…read morestores in outdoor space in second floor as well. It's a hub for not just great food and shopping, but for entertainment they have AMC and Dave and Buster's as well. Plenty of parking available between outdoor parking lot and the multi level indoor garage. We initially came to the mall for dinner at Din Tai Fung. While walking the place, I found they had so many other Asian brand stores like Miniso, Meet Fresh, Uniqlo and Kinokuniya bookstore. But most surprising of all was finding a whole 99 Ranch inside the mall. After dinner, we did some shopping here. Later at night, I came back here to play some games in Dave & Buster's. But the signs can improve a bit for better direction. I was so confused how to get to the parking near D&B entrance. Also, the parking garage seemed under maintained. But overall a really great place for both locals and tourists.

Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). It was still the best in its era back then, but it's still a reliable and good mall today. My latest visit was actually to Macy's, but decided to give the mall for a run. The major department stores are still there, with the Macy's, JcPenney, and Nordstrom. There's also some of the original shops like LUSH, Abercrombie (though they've moved around a few times), Bath and Body, Hot Topic, etc. There's some new jewelry places and some other trinket stores. I saw something like build your own slime for like 30 bucks...what is that?! But yeah, a lot more boutique and random shops here and there. Parking lot is still packed like always, so people still enjoy coming here.
