After about 25 min, I went to the front desk and asked how much longer I must wait - I was told, the tech is with other patients. In another 20 min, I went to the front desk again and ask again why it is taking so long to call me in - this time I was told that they will reach over to ask. At 1 hour after my appointment time - I went to the front desk for the third time and asked for my script back, stating I am not waiting any longer - this time, receptionist stood up and stated she will go in to check. In about 5 min, tech came to call me in, explaining on the way that there was "a glitch in the system" and she didn't see that I was waiting for an appointment; meanwhile, at least 4 or 5 people went inside for their tests - so there was no glitch in the system for their appointments? I find it absolutely unacceptable, especially since I went to the front desk 3! times to inquire why I am waiting that long. Additionally, when tech came to call me - that was someone I haven't seen previously taking patients back - so when I was first told that tech is with the patients - it was a lie. I am never coming back to this place. Do not schedule with them and take your business somewhere else if you value your time.

My mammo tech was sweet and made me feel comfortable, which is always appreciated at these ugh-ppointments! Her name was Leigh Ann. Next was the ultra sound tech. This one was a first for me. Equally sweet. Her name was Jeannine. I filled out a card and stuck it to the wall, as to why I get my mammos. ONLY DING - I had to carry my personal belongings around in an awkward ball. Where are the free tote bags like at the Turnersville, NJ, location? I will be returning to this slightly further location in December, God willing.

But really, this SJRA is probably my favorite to date. I used to visit as a kid when it was still Booth and don't recall any issues back then either. Yesterday I showed up half an hour early to my appointment. The waiting room was basically empty, so one of the ladies working (Michelle) called me down to her desk in lieu of signing in. I like that they offer seats to their patients here while filling out the entry paperwork with each medical receptionist. Some of the other locations (looking at you, Voorhees and Voorhees!) do not have that luxury. Within seconds of finishing the obligatory paperwork in the waiting room, I was brought back for the whole MRI test thing. The room itself was frigid, but the nice lady offered a blanket. At the end of the test, she even offered to help me sit up, which I seriously appreciated. (Also looking at you on that one, Voorhees!!) I'm not often in Washington Township anymore, but if I can maneuver future tests here to align with my dermatologist across the street again, I'd absolutely return. Fast service, great experience. I'd recommend entirely!

I have serious nerve Damage and Permanent Disability from a car crash and a truly messed up Surgery, so I begin panicking whenever I have to go for any medical procedure ... So, I hope for the best and expect the worst to prepare myself, Well, this time, I got The Best ! My MRI Technician, Gina was An Angel ! She talked with such Genuine Kindness and Compassion I was put at ease and during the procedure Gina kept me calm and informed to be sure I was alright and knew step by step the amount of time to expect and that everything was going well ... I have been to other virtua surgery centers. This review in no way reflects on the treatment my…read morepartner got during his surgery, that was awesome. My review is about the set up of the facility. When patients have surgery the person accompanying them is usually required to wait. This wait can be hours long. Other virtua surgery centers have coffee stations or maybe even just water. I asked if there was somewhere I could go to buy a cup of coffee within the facility and was told that there isn't but that there is a vending machine. I understand you don't want people spreading out and having full out picnics in the waiting area but, at least they could provide water. The one complaint I have about the way things were handled by the staffs is that I was given no updates. All other surgery centers let me know when the person I was accompanying was being taken back for the start of the procedure AND I got updates as to what was going on. Here there was total silence. No communication whatsoever. For those waiting, it would put our minds at ease if we were kept informed. I know the primary focus is the patient, as it should be but, a little more care for those accompanying them would go a long way.

You will never be able to get a hold of them on a phone call. They will have published hours of 8am (one their own website) but will be having a meeting with the door locked until 9am, even when you're waiting outside for simple paperwork. Three other people waiting outside with me had actual appointments! They do not care about you or your time at all. The patient is only right here if it fits their own plans. I'd stuck by them because of the doctors for an extra 3 years beyond when I wanted to. Not any longer, time to find another practice.
