They always kept us up to date on how our daughter was doing, answered all sorts of questions, gave us advice, handled the nuances of our daughter's food allergies, and dealt with our general overbearing-new-parent vibes with grace. We can't thank them enough. In Infant B, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Joel, and Ms. Lourden were equally amazing. They just care deeply about all the kids in their classroom, and it shows through in so many ways; from constantly getting down on the floor to play with the little ones, to taking TLE's fun-themed "spirit weeks" very seriously, to being generally just fun and silly with their kiddos, and putting insane levels of effort into arts and crafts, you can tell that this is not just a job for Crystal, Joel, and Lourden. Finally, the front desk and support staff, as well as the floaters and part-time employees are just plain lovely as well. We needed to make some changes quickly and to manage everything from long distance. We were so lucky to have found Brightstar to do this for us. They have been amazing!! We were very wary of home care businesses since we had heard some of them had bad reputations, so I researched thoroughly before hiring Brightstar. They have done everything that they promised from day one. And I have requested a myriad of changes and additions and they have all been done immediately. I can't tell you how much I have depended on them for mom's care, especially since we're not there in person. We were in Detroit for…read morea wedding and needed child care for six rambunctious kids ranging from 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 years old. We were able to book CAPEC months in advance, which gave us the peace of mind to book the trip knowing that we had reliable child care in place for the night of the wedding. The reservation process was smooth and easy. I spoke to Ebony by phone and she explained her services and confirmed that she could accommodate the size of our group. Once we decided to book CAPEC, we received a link to fill out all the necessary information online (i.e. allergy information and emergency contacts for each child). We then received a written agreement laying out all the terms and information we needed to plan ahead. Given that we had a large group of six kids, Ebony brought a second staff member, Yolaunda. The two of them came very well prepared with plenty of toys and activities for the kids to play with. As soon as they arrived at the hotel they had the kids engaged with bubbles, balloons, and musical instruments. They also did a great job of comforting/distracting the kids so that the parents could slip out without causing a meltdown. Throughout the evening Ebony texted us updates and pictures of the kids playing and enjoying themselves, which was very reassuring and put our minds at ease so we could enjoy the wedding festivities. When we got back to the hotel at midnight all of the kids were fast asleep. The next morning the kids told us how much fun they had with Ebony and Yolaunda, which is really the best feedback you can get. Thank you Ebony, Yolaunda and Children At Play Event Childcare! We then experienced a minor complication regarding the boys' age group (by no fault of ISW, but CCN). Once again Danielle swiftly did all she could to remedy the situation and somehow find room for two extra children! As a single mom, you can imagine I was extremely stressed. Danielle, Brittany & Rachel all miraculously made this hasty, unexpected transition run smoothly! Since the boys have been attending day care at ISW, they've learned so much! They've made several new friends & have had many new experiences! I love the pictures sent to my email almost daily showing the fun & education experienced by my boys. They have so much fun in the classroom with everyone including Mr Bobby, Mr Jay, and Miss Brittany!!!
