The green beans looked like they had been sitting out for hours, the mashed potatoes were dry and clumpy, and the meatloaf looked like it had been steaming for days. I reluctantly chose a chicken sandwich and a bag of chips and made my way over to the cashier. As I took my first bite, my suspicions were confirmed - it was bland and tasteless, and I was left wondering how such a crucial aspect of patient care could be so overlooked. Despite the lackluster food, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the doctors and nurses who work tirelessly to care for their patients. She told me she would not prescribe antibiotics because that is not medical practice anymore....... then told me she would prescribe Fluticasone (nasal spray) and oh if your insurance does not pay for it just take Mucinex. She also wanted me to take two other medications. That is so much better than just taking a dose of antibiotics of course. Now I have side effects from three different medications to deal with. Then I was told if you still feel bad on Thursday come back (pay another co-pay) and I will give you antibiotics. Four days of different medications and then at the end antibiotics anyway. Wow, that makes a lot of sense. She had to leave the room three times to "check" on the medication and with whom? GOOGLE or the real doctor????? Honestly, drive to Summit county if you want real help!

I never have seen a doctor here, but only nurse practitioner, Tara Taylor. She is so insensitive and only available about half days a week in the office. I have seen her on two occasions and both completely unsatisfactory, not getting answers for the concerns and questions I had. The most recent visit, she prescribed the incorrect amount of my antidepressant which I have been taking for 10+ years. She has also messed up my prescriptions before, telling me I didn't need my thyroid medicine, then prescribing it, then not allowing it again. I honestly don't think she knows what she is doing. My husband has seen her as well and agrees she is not professional at all. On top of all this, The billing system of this office is ridiculously unorganized, as my invoice was not sent through insurance and I had to contact Anne, the billing lady many many times, to not be called back. She told me I had to call by a certain date, which I did, only to not hear back. I brought my dad here after a horrible horseback riding accident and I'm just in awe of the kindness, compassion, efficiency, skill, and nurturing we received here. Dr. Wierdsma made my father so comfortable, and Michelle Williamson (the nurse) was so expedient. She made sure he got something for his pain (my dad's ear was severed by a horse's hoof) and Dr. Wierdsma was so gentle with my father. He explained everything in layman's terms so my dad could understand exactly what was going on. He then admitted that my dad's injury was incredibly severe and that, while he could "salvage what he could," he would highly recommend an ENT specialist. After getting our consent, he called Dr. Streeter in. Dr. Streeter was an angel from heaven. She came in (she was on call), and put back my dad's mangled ear. She talked us through the entire procedure and helped keep my poor dad calm the entire time. Nurse Williamson was there the whole time, cheering my dad on as she helped Dr. Streeter. It took about 4 hours total and when we left, Nurse Williamson made sure I knew how to get back to Avon (it was two hours away) and got me coffee and snacks for my drive. I emailed Dr. Streeter earlier today with photos of my dad's ear because I was a little concerned, and she called me immediately to explain what was going on. The team here was just SO fantastic and I'm so grateful that we had them as the medical team that treated my dad. Shoutout to Robert at the front for being very patient with me - I was in a panic and pretty aggressive when we came in. He was so nice and patient with me. I wish I could hug them all.
