The instructors were obviously very experienced with teaching the class. All of the instructions were simple, and we were able to do the activity while also chatting away. One of the owners was there the day I popped in along with another worker. Both were very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They have a beautiful selection of yarns, along with already done items so you can get an idea of your next project. I hadn't planned on buying any yarn but when I saw a cute already made hat, I couldn't resist.

We arrived at 11 AM and there were several people already there too; ready to paint. It seems that a lot of folks love this place because it is a creative and fun atmosphere. The staff was super helpful and guided us to an activity based on our interests. We sat outside and painted a canvas while staring at the beautiful Breckenridge mountains. It is beautifully laid out, mixing yarn and gifts, crammed in wall to wall in the old converted house. Upstairs is the serious yarn stash. Floor to (low attic eaves) ceiling and wall to wall yarn! They have an excellent selection, good prices for the quality of yarn they carry and a helpful, caring staff. We drove through Buena Vista this last weekend and the only reason I didn't fling myself from the vehicle (while Shawn was trying to fly by going twice the speed limit so that maybe if he drove by fast enough I may somehow forget it was there and drag him inside with me for 3 hours of yarn shopping) was because it was closed. If there were 10 stars, this place would get them all and more. If you are ever anywhere near Buena Vista, even if you don't do yarny crafts and you just like beautiful, hand-made gifts, do yourself a favor and stop by. And another update for the yarn I bought there - the brand the lady recommended, Alpaca With a Twist, is now my all-time favorite brand of alpaca yarn (and I even attended the Great Western Alpaca Show last year).
