We pointed it out before we left the dealership and Tim told us they would replace it free of charge. The service tech who looked at it was a complete jerk. We scheduled another appointment, spent hours in travel/wait time only to have them try to charge us $1500 for the repair once we were there. Tim asked if I would like to escalate the situation with management which I agreed. The manager never even tried calling back. I've owned cars since 1984 and never treated as badly as this place. Finally got our car back July 12 and over $3,000 later. Drove the car home and on July 16th the car started acting up and would not speed up. Took to local shop by house and they found the ground wire to transmission and a 30 amp fuse in a 20 amp spot and recommened have the car look ate the engine control module look at by a dealership I paid to have the car towed to local dealership and they confirmed the engine control module needs replaced. Reached out to Auto choice Spearfish by phone and email mutiple times and I am not getting any response. This was a preffered shop from AAA and now I have a car they kept from the beginning of June to July 12th and it wont run and they are acting like its not on them. While I was at training a groundhog chewed through my wiring harness. A dog got out and tried to get the ground hog and chewed up the bumper and damaged paint on other panels. I was never contacted about the damage and the exhaust was never fixed until I was back and they gave me the car back with damages never being fixed. Sent the car back to get the grill fixed and so the bumper would stay on properly and headlights would mount. Called frequently and got ignored or told "we don't have time". After months of poor service and quality I got tired of playing games. Car still has damaged paint to hood, bumper and fairings. Lack of integrity and responsibility.

They agreed to pay for the repairs here in WA but only replaced partial parts leaving worn out basket, bearings, & pressure plate which made the motorcycle worse. Sturgis abandoned me and stuck me with the remaining bill and the motorcycle remains at the local shop with more issues. I bought this Indian 4/8/26 , received it 5/29/26 arriving with clutch slipping. Their sales rep strung me along with lame remedies to fix the issue until 6/2/26 they agreed to repair it at a "certified" indian dealer that is about an hour away , across 2 cities and 1 ferry ride. Back and forth to this shop and Sturgis refused to fix all of the worn clutch components which caused the bike to walk in gear. 7/10/26 The Indian returns to the shop when an opening was available, blocked out my time, several uber rides, ferry costs, lost time and bike remained there until 8/11/26. When I picked it up only rode for a partial day then it broke down, left me stranded and lost all clutch tension from shotty repair work, had to tow it back to the shop on 8/19/26. Sturgis refused to be involved stuck me with the bill and now I have hundreds of pounds of stress, costs, repair bills and every warm summer day entirely burnt during this ordeal. Avoid this dealership, terrible customer service just turn and burn - you have been warned!

After a long ride I was hoping to use the restroom that used to be there the previous years we went and spent a lot of money but instead I had to use a porter potty outside and almost threw up on myself. A family vacation to see Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, and the sights of western South Dakota came very…read moreclose to being a disaster, which was averted by the service of White's Canyon Ford and service manager Marc Weimer. After driving 3 days from California, we took a little side detour to Devil's Tower in Wyoming. Going up the hill, our van (a wheelchair adapted E-150) suddenly would not shift higher than 2nd gear. Instead of going into high gear, it would pop into neutral and suddenly over-rev. Nothing I could do would get that to change so we Googled the nearest Ford dealer, which was White's Canyon in Spearfish, SD...about 40 miles away. We limped it in, getting into the dealer around lunch time. Marc pulled a couple of strings to get our van looked at right away. Unfortunately, he had bad news...and worse news. Our van needed a new transmission (I suspect the lube shop that did the service before we left used the wrong transmission fluid). The dealer did not have a replacement in stock so one had to be ordered from Salt Lake City and would take about a week to arrive. Now we were looking at a lost vacation, a very expensive repair, and not knowing what was going to happen to us for the next week to ten days with a son in a very expensive and heavy wheelchair to deal with. Marc said not to worry, he was going to take us under his wing and do what he could to make sure we could at least still enjoy our vacation. He talked the owner into lending us a van, found us a place to rent a lightweight manual wheelchair (since we no longer had a wheelchair lift available to us), and promised to keep in touch to let us know when the replacement came in. Long story short, we still got to enjoy our trip...although it extended to 20 days instead of the 11 planned...they got the van fixed (it runs great, with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty), and a big, dark cloud of worry and disappointment was lifted from our heads. We left the dealership shaking hands and wearing smiles, thankful for the helpful service and compassion of the service staff at White's Canyon Ford.
