Now, seeing that I live in the Bay Area of California, did not partake in the motorcycle week, and never purchesed an item from this dealership. Why would I be writing such a positive review? Service. My cruise control slipped out and completely stopped working on a recent coast to coast to coast moto trip this summer. Being at least 300 miles away from the dealership I decided to give them a call to see if there was something I could do on my end. RANDY the service manager was super friendly, considerate, and professional in handling the call and offered some advice to what it may be. When that didn't work and I made my way to the area a day later. I just went to the dealership without an appointment to take my chances it getting the problem fixed. This is about 10 days before motorcycle week in Sturgis. The dealership is busy and the service crew are slammed. However, I introduced myself to RANDY and wanted to know if there was any crazy possible chance the service crew could see the bike and give me a solution. RANDY took the bike right in, started filling out a work order, and let me know it will be covered under warranty. They fixed a broken line that was causing the problem in less than a few hours (knowing they still had privious bikes ahead of me.) Went over the work done. Gave me a pat on the back and sent me on my way. I know the bike was covered under the manufactures warranty. However, the professionalism and friendly costomer service went above and beyond. 2021 Indian Challenger -Worst buying experience yet. Was told the bike was fully operational, arrived with worn out clutch. They agreed to pay for the repairs here in WA but only replaced partial parts leaving worn out basket, bearings, & pressure plate which made the motorcycle worse. Sturgis abandoned me and stuck me with the remaining bill and the motorcycle remains at the local shop with more issues. I bought this Indian 4/8/26 , received it 5/29/26 arriving with clutch slipping. Their sales rep strung me along with lame remedies to fix the issue until 6/2/26 they agreed to repair it at a "certified" indian dealer that is about an hour away , across 2 cities and 1 ferry ride. Back and forth to this shop and Sturgis refused to fix all of the worn clutch components which caused the bike to walk in gear. 7/10/26 The Indian returns to the shop when an opening was available, blocked out my time, several uber rides, ferry costs, lost time and bike remained there until 8/11/26. When I picked it up only rode for a partial day then it broke down, left me stranded and lost all clutch tension from shotty repair work, had to tow it back to the shop on 8/19/26. Sturgis refused to be involved stuck me with the bill and now I have hundreds of pounds of stress, costs, repair bills and every warm summer day entirely burnt during this ordeal. During the motorcycle Rally a hat rack was placed in front of the restroom door so public could not use it. After a long ride I was hoping to use the restroom that used to be there the previous years we went and spent a lot of money but instead I had to use a porter potty outside and almost threw up on myself. My husband was looking at a new motorcycle as our Indian is a '17 and he always wants bigger and newer and nobody spoke with us . The MANY workers were standing around taking pictures of one another. I did appreciate the water sitting outside. The impression I got was I should take my water and move along. read more

0 was looking at a Indian Pursuit moto trike 2022. Wanted to trade my 2015 Honda goldwing with a 2023 CSC trike kit. They said they would give me 19000 for it . Which is a joke , the CSC kit cost that . Here the joke they have a 2005 Honda goldwing motorcycle with 20000 more miles on it plus it was not a trike for the same price. Buyer beware. read more

For the #1 Indian Dealership, I have to say I was disappointed. Broke down in S.D. with a new Indian Motorcycle and they could NOT even get us in for a computer diagnostic check because they had oil changes scheduled all day. Our motorcycle was completely dying in traffic without warning. They did, however, seem very interested in selling us a new motorcycle. Our motorcycle only has 10K miles on it. However, they did let us drive out of the lot without any help. Motorcycle got worse and we had to rent a truck and trailer to haul it home. The Indian Dealership in Rogers, Arkansas have been nothing but helpful on the phone and in person. Seems to me, in order to be #1 Dealership, it should be not only be SALES but SERVICE as well. Absolutely awesome staff and store. We were on a cross/around country motorcycle trip and were at about the 5600 miles mark of trip when we hit Sturgis, SD. Time to change the oil in the bikes and a overall health check so we can make it home! Without an appointment we were at their doorstep when they opened. Being a huge dealership we were not sure if we could get fitted in. The service bay wad packed. The service and store managers could not be more accommodating. They found a spot to fit us in with little delay, provided beverages and snacks and washed our bikes to boot. No additional costs or fees for the special assistance. Thanks again to Wylie, Randy and several others (old timers disease ruins my memory for names!). You guys are great!!! read more

We stopped in on the hopes that they would have a replacement part for my SENA headset. They didn't but..... Wili had several ideas to help us out. He hunted them down on the parts page as we waited. He showed us how to use the parts we already because he didn't have the replacement part. He went above and beyond to help us out. We didn't need to buy one thing after that. It is refreshing to have a motorcycle dealer in the area that isn't totally consumed with greed. (Yeah, I'm talkin about YOU, Harley Davidson) These folks at Sturgis Indian know what customer service is, and don't treat you like a moron, or a source of revenue. I made an offer on a used motorcycle, and instead of getting the endless runaround, they accepted my offer, and Bob even delivered it for me! Actually a very nice bike once you get the bugs worked out, but prepare for a fight with Indian Corporation. Check over the bike very carefully before you buy it. Indian will call shoddy work, "Meeting industry standard". They will say it might not look good, be annoying and distracting, but it's considered by them to be good enough. Questionable workmanship. The service manager is excellent, he'll take care of you when others won't. Stay away from Sturgis, there are better deals and dealerships elsewhere. After owning a Harley for 1 1/2 years, I decided to check out Indian Motorcycles. I went to the Sturgis SD Indian Motorcycle Dealer, calling them ahead of time and giving information on the bike I was looking at and the bike I was trading. After a 5 hours ride to Sturgis, I met Abbey, my fantastic sales person. She is so warm, giving me a hug when I walked in the door! Now it was time for a test drive . . . I drove a Chieftain and fell in love . . . the Chieftain was not the bike that I originally thought I wanted. Abbey went to work on a deal after returning from the test ride. After a short while, we had a deal and I whooped and danced and Abbey did so with me. From the Manager's Office as we're whooping, comes another whoop! Abbey is a fantastic sales person who really has her customers in mind. She works very hard and is a pleasure to work with. No high pressure sales tactics at this dealership . . . nothing but professionalism and pride in the product they sell.
