Super disappointed. I got a surprise bill from them after my dermatology appointment at ARC; about 30 days later. I didn't have the money to pay right away, and was waiting for Jan 1 to pay with my FSA. Well, at 90 days overdue, they sent my account to collections! Who the hell does that?! I have never had a medical billing that I was not able to pay by 180 days or less. What a terrible practice to send to collections for less than six months overdue. Do not go to this dermatologist. I had an appointment for my eczema 3 months ago and have still yet to get medication and start treatment. They will never answer the phone. They won't authorize my prescription to my pharmacy I am just stuck waiting and trying to get ahold of them. read more

I heard a worker talking on the phone, giving positive cancer results to a patient in the most heartless, coldest manner one could ever imagine. No empathy, no kindness. I understand there is desensitization when you work in an any environment long enough, especially when are you constantly having to be the bearer of bad news. Regardless, remember you are dealing with peoples LIVES, and for some this is actually a life or death situation. Suck it up and have empathy, or at least pretend to. If you happen to be a woman and want to work here, this is a place where the "mean-girl" workers (most of them) there will be dismissive to women prettier than they are, or if they feel you are a threat. (Enough said. We have all gone through that at one place or another and it's the most pathetic environment for a woman to be in) Move on to where you will be treated with dignity and respect. read more

I went in for my second chemical peel. After the first one the esthetician also started me on retinol and vit C serum which have worked great and my skin looked amazing. But when I scheduled the second one no one told me I needed to stop the retinol 7-10 days before getting the chemical peel. The nurse started applying the chemical to my face and said to me "you're frosting, do you use retinol?" When I told her I did and used it the night before she said "oh you should've stopped using that several days before". Sure wish I would've known that because I have developed blisters that are painful and the skin on my face now looks like crap! read more

I had an appointment on Aug 7 that had been scheduled since June at this facility through the VA, and when I arrived at the clinic for the scheduled appointment I was turned away because I was "not in their system." I had traveled to Corpus Christi from an important meeting in San Antonio just to make this appointment, only to be turned away. The people at the clinic seemed not to care that a 68-year-old disabled veteran needed medical care, but only that I was not in "their system." I have asked the VA to reschedule an appointment with a dermatologist, but not with this clinic because I didn't like their unprofessionalism or their uncaring attitude. read more

I didn't have a problem with the service provided, however I DO have a problem with BILLING. I went for two visits and paid in full each visit. Only to be called after my last appointment saying there was $90 that needed to be paid. When I questioned it, they were offended. They called back a few weeks later and said that now the amount was $90, and added ANOTHER $200 on top of that, stating my insurance was billed but would not cover that portion. Strange since I did not provide insurance to them! I disputed the charge only to receive another call stating that now it was $80 plus an additional $170. When I said I paid in full and disputed the charge they got VERY upset and said they would be sending to collections. Again, I have no complaints about the service provided, but when you start to bill people any amount you want, and then threaten them with collections there's a problem. If you do go here, be aware of hidden charges, and they will charge you whatever they want. read more

She has not received a referral to an oncologist or a surgeon and her PCP has not received the report. My mom and her PCP have been calling daily and still nothing. The front staffs and cashier are not friendly. You don't feel that friendly welcome environment from there. I felt insecure and bad mood leaving that place. The one doctor & nurse was good, but the rest of the people behind those desk are stuck up people. read more
