I found out about South Texas Fence searching on the internet and decided to contact them for an estimate because the reviews given by other customers really impressed me. I called Anthony and he promptly came out to take a look at what I wanted and gave me an estimate right away. I initially wanted the whole fence around my backyard to be replaced, but Anthony suggested to have it replaced where it really needed and to repair "at no cost" the other side which was leaning towards the yard next door. Since my lot has a slope, they also needed to replace two of the wooden posts by the fence in the front with metal ones because the wooden 4x4s would be too short, and they also placed three extra horizontal rows of boards to close the gap til it reached the ground. Anthony was kind and generous enough to do all these adjustments in the front at no extra cost. The final product looks clean and beautiful. After reaching out to no less than 6 local fence companies, Anthony at South Texas Fence won my business. Not only did he have the best price, he had the highest online ratings. His crews stay busy, so we waited a week, but once they got started we were wowed! Day one they removed and hauled off the old fence and set the new metal posts in real mixed concrete. Day two they ran the rails and pickets, built the gates, and were finished by 5pm on day two. The quality of workmanship and materials were A+++ and they were very careful to clean up after the work was done. I had a lot of difficulty finding a company to replace the old fence at my house, until I talked to Anthony at South Texas Fence. He came out to my house right away for the estimate when I called him. Because other companies had seemed kind of shady I wasn't sure I should trust him when he said a deposit was required (I wasn't sure of the usual process). Our yard and patio definitely looks transformed for the better after we tasked South Texas Fence with replacing our old one. For those wanting specifics, our old (very old) rotted pretreated wood with shark tooth design was replaced with 6ft. Cedar and dog ear design. Our new cedar fence looks absolutely amazing. It's like we are in a different yard. It's such an improvement on what we had before. Mr. Camacho was always responsive with our inquires even when they were busy. He always got back to us by the end of the day. His team did a great job, especially in this humidity.
